Omar was fantastic! I called him just one day before we needed help, and he showed up exactly when…read morehe said he would. We had an extremely heavy refrigerator that needed to be moved, and he handled it without a problem and installed our new refrigerator for us. During the installation, he needed to make an unexpected trip to the store for an additional part, which took more time than anticipated. He only charged us for the cost of the item and didn't add anything for the extra time. I really appreciated how fair and honest he was. His price was fantastic, especially for the amount of work involved. Omar was reliable, professional, and came through for us on very short notice. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely call him again!

We had him tackle a significant makeover and paint job on our 122 year old cottage. Omar's bid was a good 20% higher than #2. We chose him because of how clearly he talked the details, from paint chemistry for a salt air climate to the right way to replace those old cedar shingles. He also had a new kitchen window created from scratch to match the ones in the rest of the old house. Over the 3 - 4 week project, Omar and his crew invariably left the place immaculate, no clutter, no mess. The answer to nearly ever request was "Yes, we can do that." While they are not cheap, the tab for all of the extras we asked for was fair. And we have no doubt that the work will hold up very well. When you think about how valuable your home is, why would you not hire the best in the business to fix whatever is wrong with it? The property will appreciate, and pay you back 10X over.

We had a number of challenges including site access, drainage, removing old concrete, rocky soil and more. FMG gave us creative options, got us scheduled in promptly, worked hard, and delivered exactly what we had hoped for and more. If you are thinking of any project that involves hardscape anywhere in the Monterey county area, I highly recommend that you get a proposal from FMG. Recommend!

In 2015 we signed a contract with Fermin to put pavers in the front, driveway and backyard. When…read moreit was time for then to start the work we were told that he gave the contract to his dad. They completed the work and within one year our driveway collapsed. I had to invest an additional $22,000 to repair the collapsed portions of the driveway. Here we are 6 years later and we have weeds growing up inbetween all of the pavers. A total disaster. I confronted the son about this at the time and he refused to do the work stating that it was his dads job even though we had a signed contract. When I confronted the son, just weeks after the original installation, he said that his company isn't Fermin that that was his dads company and refused to honor the defective work. My mistake was not to insist on the younger son to do the work. Again, a total disaster.... good luck if you get him to do any work.

They worked really hard and also were polite and made sure we were satisfied with the result.
