We've used Mario for several projects over the years, and one thing that has always stayed consistent is his incredible attention to detail and quality of work. Most recently, as we prepared to sell our home, Mario handled our bathroom renovations with the same thoughtful, methodical approach he always brings to every project. The bathrooms turned out absolutely beautiful -- everyone who walked through the house commented on them, and the home flew off the market. You can tell Mario truly cares about his craftsmanship and takes pride in getting every detail right. Reliable, professional, and genuinely talented. Thanks again, Mario! read more

Mario was very knowledgeable, timely, and had good attention to details. He did the prep and install of tile around our alcove tub. His pricing was fair and he was always prompt with responding to texts and calls. If an issue arose, he was willing to do what was necessary to correct the problem. He is a good and kind person and I would recommend him. read more

Many companies we requested an estimate from seemed as though they didn't want to be bothered with a project as small and funky as ours (retiling an extremely worn 25 square foot bathroom floor.) But Mario treated us respectfully and showed as much attention to detail and pride in his craftsmanship for our small job as one would expect would be shown for a large, prestigious job. He was friendly, professional, very hardworking and his pricing was competitive. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. read more

Mario is very experienced and friendly. He does amazing tile work. He also helped me get other projects done.

Unfortunately Mario did a great job on one job for us, but after that the professionalism was gone. He bid outrageously high for one job, as if he pulled the number out of the air with NO thought at all. He started a job for us, and then decided NOT to finish it, saying it would not be profitable enough, and left it undone. I noticed a cockiness with him and an attitude that was not there during the first job he did with us. When I asked why a job cost was so high, literally by double he said cost have gone up, which I understand but not to justify a quote for thousands of dollars MORE. I would NEVER recommend him now to anyone. To leave a job half done when someone is willing to pay for their time and no one was trying to take advantage of him in any way, is completely unacceptable. The attitude and cockiness is not professional and not how you gain new work. read more

Mario is fabulous, he was extremely professional, able to finish quickly and did an excellent job tiling two bedrooms and closets. He demoed the room, labeling the mounding pieces, and prepped it all in one day. He helped us make choices on tile patterns and grout lines. He also put the whole room back together. His fees are very reasonable, and finished ahead of schedule. Definitely will use Mario for future projects!!! read more

We were fortunate enough that Mario agreed to do our tile installation in Arnold CA. We could not find anyone in the area that could do the work for us in a timely manner. We used Mario for our home in Santa Cruz, we found him on Yelp which can be unpredictable. After he gained our trust and respect we asked him if he would be willing to go to Arnold and he agreed. His pricing was fair and the quality of his work made it even more worth it. He has an incredible work ethic and attention to detail which makes all the difference. I have included photos of both projects he has done for us. read more

We've used Mario on a few tile projects and most recently he installed an aluminum sunroom for us with glass sliding doors and a tile interior. We chose Mario for the project as despite having only used him for tile previously we knew his attention to detail and craft would translate to any project. He worked out how to do the install and worked tirelessly making the end result better than we could have asked for. Would highly recommend for tile and more. read more

Mario did amazing work fixing some cracked tiles in a shower. I contacted a few contractors and Mario was the only one that told me of all the possible risks and how to do the repair correctly so the tiles wouldn't crack again in the future. Everyone else just wanted to replace the tile and not repair the wall. Mario spent the time to do everything correctly and made everything look great. He is a true pro! He was also very reasonably priced and stuck with the price he quoted me. You won't find anyone more hardworking or as honest as Mario. read more
