We contacted Jose of JM Handyman, to fix a backed up drain in our rental home. Jose was very easy to communicate with and straightforward. He was out the next morning and fixed the problem, also remounted a cabinet door and switched out a leaky angle valve. Jose updated me as the work went along and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. We will definitely be using Jose again and highly recommend him. read more

Jose does wonderful work. He operates with the highest level of integrity and is extremely respectable. He's a very honest and standup individual outside of work and his craftsmanship and professionalism shows in the projects he completes. Jose has a plethora of skills to fix practically anything in a home. Jose operates with a high level of skill and his attention to detail is impressive. One thing I truly appreciated about Jose is he make sure to do the job right the first time. He checked in with me constantly throughout my project to ensure the project was being completed to my standard. Hands-down Jose is the handyman you should call if you want a high-quality project completed at a reasonable price. read more

Initially, I was impressed with the Contractors response time and the quote he (Jose) provided. The project was to take off & reinstall four new faucets. I thought his initial price was fair ($150 for two faucets) $300 for four faucets was my understanding. A prior "licensed" Contractor charged $325, provided a warranty, a written quote & was extremely efficient. I'd RE-hire him a 100 times over. This Contractor took 1 1/2 hours for installation & completion but they were fully booked to redo the job. TJM handyman (Jose) took a minimum of five hours & without informing me prior, he upped the price an addition $100. It's not my fault he took longer than he probably anticipated. Additionally, one of the sinks in the MB does not hold the water. We are seniors and I fear calling him back! Buyers beware of scammers!. read more

Amazing! Thank you Jose for helping this first time homeowner with my bathroom nightmare. Jose was prompt, knowledgeable, honest, and really communicated the entire process start to finish. Literally EVERY part of the room needed attention! He gutted the entire bathroom and replaced everything from the plumbing to the floor, the walls, to the fixtures! What seemed unbelievably overwhelming to me, he took in stride. I appreciated how important it was to him that he explain not only what he was doing, but why and how it would benefit me in the long run. I came away from this experience feeling like I learned a little about a remodel too! He was so willing to work with in my budget and my needs, I knew he was going to be the right guy for the job. I look forward to having him help me with other projects down the road. Stay tuned for "after" photos once I finish dressing up the new bathroom! read more

Jose did some work for me last year and again this year. Very likable and seems knowledgeable in many fields. The first job was painting and it turned out beautiful. My one and only complaint was I have hardwood floors and although he is extremely careful he did not tape off or lay canvas or plastic down so a little clean up was required when I brought it to his attention. He was able to clean up the floor and the end result was very good work. He did some repair work on a crack in my stucco and you would never know that it had been there. Just came today and installed and swapped out some new lighting.Completed quickly and always will come back if there is a problem. Honest, personable, and efficient. Would hire him again and have! My only problem is that he should come with an estimate when he knows what is to be done. I like that as I keep receipts for home repairs and it eliminate questions. I don't give five stars easily but did not hesitate in the four star as you would have nice work done! He will be here working next week. Like the honesty and the end result of his work read more

Jose came out on the same day I called when he found out that I needed handicap accommodations for my recently disabled husband. He made the installations, but when we agreed that one of the rails I'd purchased wasn't a good fit, he helped me pick a better solution, and came back out as soon as that fixture arrived to put it in. We were pleased with all of his work and he is very courteous and respectful. He is dependable and communicates well. We will definitely be asking him for help with future projects now that my husband is unable to be our resident handyman! read more

We needed our security door replaced after having it for 20 years plus. We contacted Jose who responded right away, he setup an appointment for an estimate he was here when he said he would. I would highly recommend him, I plan on hiring him for additional work we need done. read more

Jose just came and repaired several plumbing issues that we were having. He is always courteous and professional. This is the second time that we have called him for his services and we plan to continue to use his services. read more

We are in the midst of moving into a house that has a lot of quirks and problems, so Jose was a blessing because of his good communication and attention to detail. He first installed a kitchen faucet, bathroom light fixture and shower head, and then came back to put in a spout and bathroom fan as well as some towel bars. While figuring out where a water line in the kitchen could be disconnected, he got a surprise spray in the face and quickly assessed the issue. He removed an R/O system that was doing no one any good, and in that discovered a dysfunctional and leaky pipe that needed attention. I was relieved to have that discovered before we moved in! He fixed it as best he could, and after he left I saw more dripping, texted him and he came right back to take care of it. He is obviously knowledgeable in many areas and explains what he is doing. I am happy to have found him and look forward to working with him in the future. He is a quality person as well as a quality handyman. read more

Jose is a very good communicator, always prompt with his responses and polite as can be. I got 4 estimates total and his was 2nd from lowest. The contractor with the lowest estimate bailed on me last minute saying he found a bigger job and told me I should just call a handyman b/c our work is so small. So I looked again and found Jose. He gave me a reasonable estimate and we scheduled work for when the supplies would arrive. The flooring order was delayed so I texted him and he rescheduled without fuss. We were on a time crunch and told him it needs to be done over Thanksgiving weekend. Even though he wanted to spend time with his family, he understood our situation and came over the weekend with his helper, worked through lunch and finished the job.
