A moisture issue due to a stucco blow out would not have been discovered were it not for the astute discovery by the 2 painters. The condition of the interior was very poor with dents and holes by the prior owner and their skills at repair are amazing making the interior look like new again. Victor and his team are simply wonderful. They are trustworthy, do quality work, follow through with their commitments, and genuinely guarantee their work. Originally hired to paint the interior and exterior of our house, they also did the (extensive) repair work necessary to make our deck safe and waterproof again, addressed the underlying problems that were causing the roof fascia to deteriorate, and replaced a deteriorating fence that collapsed in a major storm. Not only were they meticulous about the interior work, they did the patching to make new knobs and finishes look original -- and charged very fairly (and upfront) for all this add on work. Victor and his crew were wonderful to work with. His crew was great about accommodating us as we needed to come and go while SIP and all of us working from home. They even put up with our dogs crashing their lunches when we would take them out for a walk at lunch time. Their crew chief gave me suggestions on the paint color finish for the doors to really make them stand out. They wore masks and social distanced accordingly through out the project. We hired Victor and his crew to give our kitchen a refresh. We are new to the area and didn't know many people. We wanted to work with someone who was honest and trustworthy. We found Victor online. What we wanted done to the kitchen was tricky because the prior owners of the home we moved into only refreshed the outside of the cabinets but the interior was still from the 70s and was dirty and old looking. So instead of remodeling the whole entire kitchen we wanted to clean and paint the interior of the cabinets. Additionally it was also challenging because the drawers were in poor condition. We wanted them to be refreshed and soft close. However similar to the cabinets the exterior of the drawer was already replaced and we didn't want to have to do a full remodel. Victor was very upfront with cost and straightforward when he would be able to start. He produced a professional quote and even sourced a contractor who could build just drawer boxes to replace old worn out ones with soft close. He and his team showed up on time and coordinated everything for the cabinet boxes and construction. They finished the job on time and we are very pleased with the finished look and the quality. Our home had a bad "old house" smell, among other things, which is why we needed two coats of BIN shellac odor blocking primer on the entire inside of the house: underneath door hinges, inside cabinets - everywhere. We also needed to have a series of additional fixes throughout the home, which Omar was always gracious in accommodating and a number of which he did for free. His crew's work is of the highest quality on a tough, thorough job where we really looked over every last detail to make sure everything was done just right. We highly recommend Omar and his crew. We were most fortunate to have them do our large project. Victor, Omar, and the rest of the team did a great job working on our house in the Carmel Highlands. Their price was competitive, they were prompt and always responsive, and respectful of our privacy particularly given the complexities introduced by Covid and the fact that they were working on our house fulltime for more than six weeks. The work they performed was extensive and demonstrated that they are skilled and very detailed. We needed many different types of work done involving many different finishes and materials: - Metal clad windows repainted that included both fixed and removable windows - Wooden window frames needed re-caulking and repainting - Exterior stucco that needed to be prepped, sealed, and painted with a custom faux finish to match existing - Exterior metal railings that were starting to corrode that needed to be sanded down, primed, and painted - Wooden garage doors sanded, caulked, primed, and painted - Interior wall leak investigation involving pulling sheet rock off of a wall and remediating and waterproofing the leak and replacement and refinishing of the interior wall sheet rock to match existing Net is they did a great job while working on our house over a seven week period. I found very few issues with their work, and whenever I pointed out something it was immediately acknowledged and corrected. I will absolutely look to use Division Painting for any work that we have in the future. read more
