When we call the main office to talk to someone they continually refer us to our rude salesman! Would never buy anything from them again. We are happy to get results, but it's too bad that we have to go through social media to get results.

Good experience; would definitely consider using them again for future projects (like rock under a…read morepaved patio we are planning), and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to neighbors or friends--the ultimate compliment. Needed a cubic yard of 3/4 rock for a DIY drainage project in our back yard (which equates to 50+ bags from a home improvement store, typically at least $2 each). We rented a truck from a nearby "Home" improvement store, drove to JCBM, paid for the rock and had the truck bed loaded in less than 10 minutes, and were on our way...thus saving ourselves about 30% (not to mention multiple trips to the store). We happen to only live a few miles away, but if we were any further away or needed more rock, it would have made economic sense to just pay for delivery based on crunching the numbers.

Great experience with lathe expert as detailed below…read more I am a lathe junkie... I make goblets and bowls, and because I'm fairly new and am not wealthy, I have cheap gouges that I bought on the internet instead of at Woodcraft. I came to the ugly conclusion the other day that I didn't know how to sharpen my tools correctly, so I set out to find someone to get me on the right track. A really young guy named Tyler at Woodcraft is their undisputed lathe expert, so I went to talk to him about my troubles. I expected his time to cost me 20 or 30 bucks, but he put a new edge on the 2 that needed them for free! I will now be able to sharpen correctly from watching him do it. If your in the Overland Park area and you like specialty wood working like lathe projects, go check this place out if you've never been!
