It does have that "home improvement" store feel... you know... concrete floors, high ceilings, and very cold etc. I would defiantly look at their kitchen cabinet handles, door handles and locks, as well as sink and toilet fixtures etc. They all seemed like decent prices with a decent quality. Picked out my flooring when it came to ringing it up he was newer and said he didn't know how to apply the discount. Said once his manager got finished he would get him to refund it and I could just pay now. I had a Dr appointment so I agreed if he could put that in writing. Now they are telling me they can't honor it, probably hoping I'd just keep the order anyway. Such bad business practices. The old bait and switch routine. I am in sales myself and would never not honor something I put in writing for a customer. I will never shop here again. And I recommend you not shop here either. When I told Joe that I was going to trash them on social media and he said "bash away". This is not good business practices.

I said it displayed the wrong amount. He screamed "IT WILL CORRECT". Put my card in, guess what? Wrong amount. I told him he shouldn't scream at me as I am the customer. He became red, got up, and asked a co-worker to correct the problem. What a nasty guy. Yes, I am a woman. Yes, I instal hardwood floors. Get used to it, Ken. He later apologized.....not for screaming, but for charging the wrong amount. Apologized from the other end of the store. Wimp!

I ordered 2 new windows from Rochester Colonial to be installed in my soon-to-be renovated kitchen…read more The timeline was very tight, but Chris Giunta (Rochester Colonial sales consultant) stayed on top of the order and my new windows were received by Rochester Colonial 3 weeks prior to renovation start date. The 3 installers (Jake, Jonah and Chad) did an awesome job installing! They prepared the area so as not to have dust and debris extend beyond the kitchen area. After installation was complete, the area inside the new windows was steeped and vacuumed. I was shown how the windows operate and the film on the windows was removed and the windows were carefully cleaned. All the old window material was hauled away. Great job!

They have skilled installers and excellent products…read more When we ordered windows for our house last year we investigated several different window manufacturers and installers. We picked Rochester Colonial and are very happy that we did. The windows replaced older worn-out casement windows, the new windows are very energy efficient, made from durable materials and are a joy to operate. The installation process went very smoothly. The installers, all employees of Rochester Colonial not contractors, were highly skilled and very pleasant to work with. They left the windows spotless and the work areas were very clean. Both during the install process and afterwards. I would also like to mention that the salesman we worked with, Doug Decker, was very helpful is ensuring that we had exactly the right product and was very careful to make sure all of the details of the order were correct. We were so happy with the windows and Rochester Colonial that we went back and ordered a replacement front door. Once again the install was very smooth with a quality product. I highly recommend Rochester Colonial and their employees.

I was working on a project for my living room with built ins. I required shelves and countertops…read morefor cabinets that were a unique size and I wanted good quality wood. I reached out to a few lumber stores and decided to go with Morse. The sales guy was very nice and came out to my house to measure (even though the lumber was still too long and had to be cut down by me). The lumber was delayed several times being delivered, which not a huge deal. Since it was delayed being delivered it took me awhile to get around to staining them. I was out of town for several weeks (sometimes you're just busy!). While I was waiting to stain the wood, they were laid on cardboard and covered by blankets in my garage. Well protected from any damage. By the time I got around to staining them, I noticed a few of the shelves were damaged. They had marks in them that were clearly visible. And the wood used for the shelves was a lower quality than what they used for the counters (and they were supposed to be the same). So I reached out to the sales guy who was very nice when we met previously. However I didn't get a response and had to reach out 3 times to hear anything back. After a few weeks of the initial communication he came over to look at the damage (I had provided photos as well). However at this point I had already completed the staining due to it taking forever to hear back (and if you have ever done this, it takes forever). I didn't want to have to start over again, so the salesman and I agreed they would just credit me for the damage. A week goes by again and I don't hear anything, so I reach out (again no response). Finally the operations manager calls me (left a message since I couldn't answer at the time). At this point I am not even mad, but here is where they get the one star review. I had to call the operations manager back 3 times before I could get him to answer (even left messages with no call back). When I finally talked to him he was not very nice and blamed all the damage on me. He literally said that since it had been so long I probably damaged it myself or had someone come over and damage it for me. I get that it had been awhile, but again the delivery was delayed and I couldn't get the sales guy to respond. The operations manager was just rude and provided a terrible end to this experience.

Wow. Never knew this place existed…read more Artwalk Tile seem like a great spot for your next home project. They have an amazing selection of ceramic tile and vinyl plank. No matter what your aesthetic is, you'll most likely find something that catches your eye. They are building showrooms upstairs and from what I can tell, it's going to be impressive. I can't speak about pricing or buying experience yet. I have friends who are planning a big project and Joe seems very helpful.

Their selection Was amazing ... made me want to start a tile project in every room ... so I'd give them 5-stars for selection BUT prices and customer service bring it down to a three. I felt like the sales person wrote me off when he realized I wasn't looking to buy tile for a huge project - he dismissed me pretty quickly and I was left to wander the store On my own.
