No one can decide how to give us the money back (why not gift card again I have no clue). They tell us they will find out with management and get back to us. It has now been over three months, three attempts to contact customer service and nothing. Radio silence. So pretty much they just pocketed our money. They have a huge selection of different sizes and designs. I'm not a good designer at all, When I walked into the store my visions started to come to life. Life can be so much more simpler with few of these pieces. They also offer designer services. Wendy helped us design a space, she was very thorough with the questions she asked. We chatted about every detail that mattered. She showed us different designs, explained why she'd recommend each. I enjoyed this experience, I look forward to utilizing a lot of their pieces to help de clutter my house.

For me, I'll probably always just work with a contractor and just let them handle it. There's so much to know, and so much you can get wrong. You can probably make a really expensive mistake in a hurry trying to save a couple thousand dollars (if it's even that big of a savings, it is sort of unclear). There was also something really weird happening in there. There was another employee in the cubicle next to us. He kept loudly asking the guy who was helping us if he wanted any crackers. Said they were the best crackers he'd ever had. Kept saying "man, are these good crackers." And though we could hear every word and hum and cough and keyboard keys, we never heard him eating. And I'm not a paranoid person, but I definitely felt like it was a euphemism for them to make fun of us, or remind the guy he drew the short straw. The guy helping us would respond, but just kind of laughingly. Like, I even googled what that might mean and couldn't find anything. Oh well. They will promise you replacements and fixes but when it's all said and done they will back out and not provide you with any replacements or fixes!

Fast forward go 2023, our faucets developed some flow issues and the plumber we hired to repair them caused more issues than they fixed. I decided to deal with the problem myself and went back to Ferguson to ask for help. Not only did the parts department take the time to find the schematic for my faucet (which is being retired by the manufacturer I learned) but when they couldn't find anyone who had the part in stock they took me to the Business Manager who took my info and said she'd look into it. Due to her help I'm now getting new faucets covered under warranty and she did ALL the work to help me! I don't know if/when we will do another remodel, but our fixtures will come from Ferguson for sure!

We were there on an overcast Friday, so they weren't busy. Every employee was masked, said hello, asked if we needed help, and then left us alone when we explained we were just kicking tires. While there are certainly some high end things, we were pleasantly surprised by the prices on some things, like lighting. We found many fixtures that we liked that were in our price range. I'm not sure what more I could ask for in visiting a showroom. I got lots of ideas, as well as an idea of what I can and cannot afford. I left with several catalogues. I was never pressured at all, nor was I made to feel like I was in the way for not being a serious customer, rolling in with dimensions and timelines. Gideon was easy to contact, showed up on time, worked hard for nearly 5 hours refurnishing a 1908 5 1/2 foot claw footed cast iron tub that started out in deplorable shape. The end result nearly brought tears in its perfection and beauty. Pure & simple. While I rarely recommend a contractor after a home repair, they get my full recommendation.
