The guy who helped us even steered me away from a product because of the poor quality of the product. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars redoing my bathrooms and foyer and was told the wrong caulk color by the Store associate and went to return it for a different color and they refuse to take it back. Great customer service. That's why your parking lot stays empty. read more

Buyer Beware - RUN! While they have a nice assortment of tile, their operation is the toilet. Moved to N. Maryland from FL recently, purchased with a FL sales agent - who was great. Waiting for the order to be delivered to Timonium store. 2+ weeks no call from store on its arrival or to pick it up. Only when I called the FL store for an update was I told that the Timonium store received the tile, partial order broken and had to be replaced; fine. But guess what, the Timonium store 'forgot' to place the order for the replacement. If I didn't call, how long before it would have been placed? They are only about the sale and let poor customer service continued to erode any loyalty. Ive seen this at other stores, and the number of negative reviews that continue to be posted here and Google, they are just getting by. Their Corporate Leadership should read through these and get off their a$$ and improve before they go out of business #Boycott. read more

These guys are shady at best. similar thing happened to us. We got maybe 4 boxes for a small half bath, but wasn't sure when the tile contractor could put it in since it was purchased with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the way. I asked if we could return the extra box if it wasn't opened and they said we could. it got installed mid-January and had a full box left over. I took the box back with my receipt and the manager said it was 62 days and it must be returned within 60 days and circled it on the receipt and handed it back to me. "Seriously ?", I asked. "Here's a suggestion! Circle the 60 day while I'm standing at the register and have me initial that I understand the return policy!" He then added that they could not go past 60 days because of the colors in 60 days could be different. I explained that it was marble and has a variety of colors in the box, so it isn't like fabric, and he walked away. Florida Tile from here on out!! read more

SUPER DISAPPOINTING! I ordered over $4k in tile for our master bath remodel. Couldn't risk having out of stock issues so got it on order a few weeks before my contractor was able to start. Kept getting calls to pick up before "the end of the month" so they could clear out warehouse. I did even though I wasn't ready for it - thought I was doing them a favor. Brought back $1k in tile and grout and was told I was ***three days*** past the 60 day return window and they were going to "do me a favor" by returning the money to a gift card. For which I have absolutely NO USE since they only sell tile and related supplies and I don't have any more projects planned. Buyer beware!!! And shame on you Tile Shop - and your inability to make it right for the customer. read more

I was really disappointed with the customer service. It was odd because on my initial visit the guy basically hovered over me. I was waiting for my husband and the gentleman I was working with literally stood over me waiting with me. There was no conversation. Nothing. I ordered a bunch of samples. I was referred to this place by a friend. I now have a gorgeous DIY backsplash. Justin was our floor specialist and he was kind, professional, and helpful. There is sometimes a bit of a wait but that was no issue for me as I knew I would be getting the same level of patient and thorough service when it was my turn. Very good experience selecting tile and getting sound advice on a stone backsplash. Benjamin was our salesperson and knew what additional supplies were needed. Type of adhesive, grout, sealer, accent pieces. Selection was great, as was customer service. Benjamin stressed the importance of sealing stone tile before and after grouting. I wish our installer followed his advice. Not sealing porous stone tile before grouting allows grout to get into the tiny holes in the tile and is impossible to get out. A tile backsplash, using tile purchased at this store costs just a few hundred dollars more than a big box store, but the payback in enjoyment from having a spectacular tile to look at every day, is well worth it. I noticed a comment from someone complaining about lack of customer service. I was glad to be in a designer type of store, where I was allowed to look around as long as I wanted without being pressured in any way. You may have some long wait times when the store is busy, but you will get the same attention and detailed answers that the person ahead of you is getting. I would give my experience at this store an A ++++. read more

Worst customer service ever and this is by their store manager. Went to pick up order and being told order was in, drove over an hour got their and order was not there. Second time there to pick up order and when I got home found out they had not loaded all the items. Had to go back to the store for the third time, manager took off some grout to make up for my gas money. When project was finished and I had grout left over. ( from his measurements), I was told I could not return it since he had already given me a credit. I explained that credit was for my gas money and he choose that product to credit, he told me to bad. I will NEVER spend another dime of my money in that store. I want Porcelain tile for my living room, dining room, and hall and want to start the project ASAP. Went to Home Depot and Lowes and their selection was dismal. I walked into The Tile Shop and was blown away by the selection and we both said this is more like it. My wife and I were in there about 40 minutes and walked the entire store twice. Even though there was 4 people that I saw working in the store, we were shocked no one came over to say hello, may I help you, what are you interested in etc.? As I shopped for around 1,500 sq feet of tile with my wife, I asked the salesman at the service center if a specific piece of tile could be ordered in a larger dimension, after all they are 3 d printed and I wanted to know if a special order was possible. The salesman just said no we don't do that, did not ask me any additional questions or offer to show me any other pieces. As I walked away I could hear him mock my question to the other cashier in a "mocking tone" repeating back to him the same thing I had just asked. Had my wife not grabbed my arm and told me to just let it go I would have most definitely made a scene and asked for the manager. We ended up buying about $10,000.00 in tile, SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Just went here to pick out all new tile for a complete bathroom renovation. We were given a lot of time to look around before we decided to really start picking out tile. Chad approached us and was really helpful in educating us and the types of tile and styles go with what. Being as indecisive as I am, he was really patient with us and got us squared away. The store was even having 20% off our entire purchase. Everything we ordered is going to come straight to our house and it only takes less than a week.
