I was unaware of this, and a cookbook was placed on our cabinet lighting and a week later caught on fire. Fire Dept, whole deal, minor damage. This is the only reason this was a four star review. I wish she would've told me that she put things above cabinets. This was a lengthy process, be prepared for your kitchen to be in disarray for a bit. Diane is very knowledgable and up to date on trends and colors. She is a bit quirky and speaks her mind; her bluntness could be a turn off to some. The finish on the cabinets, is gorgeous, smooth and is easily cleaned when spills occur. She left some touch up paint for scuffs and knicks, but haven't needed any yet and it's been almost 6 months!
