The attention to detail that Gael had given made my first time a very memorable one, with thw way she exercised care and tenderness throughout my body, especially the focus areas I had stated in the beginning. By the end, Gael had really stretched me out and had my entire body feeling much-needed relief that I had been wanting to tend to for so long. This time around, I got Yuri, and man does she know how to work on those focus areas with strength and intensity! Compared to my session with Gael, Yuri had walked on my back and even cracked my spine several times, which helped relieve a lot of tension & pressure that had built up in the last month since I was here. She also applied hot stones, which were a nice surprise! Overall, Yuri really tested my limits in terms of pressure and heat, and by the end, I was really proud and amazed at how strong my body was throughout our session. I will continue to be a committed, returning customer & look forward to sessions with other specialists to see what they have to offer! Also shout out to the receptionist Tahyla for helping make a last-minute accommodation and for her friendly service :)

Jayda seems to know exactly where I'm holding tension and what my body needs that day. She combines targeted pressure, stretching, and Thai massage techniques, and every massage feels personalized. Most recently, I came in after several days of a lingering headache, migraine, and severe neck and shoulder tension. I've tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and other approaches for muscle tension and chronic pain over the years, but the relief I get from Jayda is remarkable. I walked out feeling reborn. My pain and tension were gone, and I felt completely relaxed. Chaba itself is comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing. And definitely accept the tiny paper cup of hot tea they offer at the end. It's so refreshing and hits the spot after a massage. Highly recommend Chaba, and especially Jayda. The girls laughed smiled at each other and took me to the back room and said they knew exactly what to do. I really reflected on my experience at Wrens before deciding to write this review because I…read moregenuinely did not want to leave a negative one. Unfortunately, for the amount I spent and the quality of the experience I received, I felt like I needed to share it. I came here as a birthday experience and had really high hopes. The sauna and ice bath portion was actually great and probably the best part of my visit. Unfortunately, the one-hour massage was extremely disappointing. My total ended up being around $319 after everything, which made the overall value feel even worse considering how unhappy I was with the massage. I booked a lymphatic/Brazilian lymphatic massage and expected a much more effective and intentional treatment, especially for nearly $200. Instead, the massage was so gentle that I actually found myself feeling more stressed than relaxed. A lot of it felt like very light surface-level rubbing on my arms and legs. I have had several lymphatic massages before, so I had something to compare this experience to, and unfortunately this was by far my least enjoyable one. My massage therapist was Brittany, and I personally did not feel that the technique matched the quality I would expect at this price point. The wooden rollers used during the Brazilian lymphatic portion were also applied so lightly that I barely felt like they were doing anything. The gua sha portion on my face was disappointing as well. When she was using two gua sha tools at the same time, the movements felt mismatched and uncoordinated, to the point where it did not feel effective at all. It came across as very minimal effort. At one point, a hot towel was placed on me that was hot enough to make my body flinch. I immediately said that it was too hot, and what bothered me was that there was no apology or acknowledgment afterward. It is rare for me to spend an entire massage wishing it would end, but that was honestly how I felt. If I am spending almost $200 for one hour, I expect to leave feeling relaxed and like the treatment was worth the money. Instead, I left disappointed and frustrated, especially because this was supposed to be part of my birthday celebration. What made the experience worse was being asked about a 20% tip even after I had expressed that the massage was not what I expected. I understand tipping is customary, but given that I had already communicated my disappointment, the interaction felt uncomfortable. The sauna/ice bath experience was enjoyable, so I cannot say everything about Wrens was bad. But based on the massage experience and the overall price I paid, I personally would not return for a massage here. I really wanted to love this place, especially for my birthday, but unfortunately it was a major miss for me.

After checking out their website, I felt their pricing was almost too good to be true so was a little skeptical at first. However, after checking out their reviews online, and seeing such positive comments, I decided to give it a go. I usually only do 90 minute massages. One hour is never long enough to thoroughly go through the whole body while paying special attention to certain areas of discomfort or pain. I have had different masseuses each visit and all have been wonderful! I do suggest letting the gorgeous lady at the front - she may be the owner but I am not sure - know what you need as not all of the therapists speak fluent English. I usually get matched with women therapists however, I did have a male the time before last. He did such a wonderful job and I felt 100% comfortable with him. I have some hip issues that had been bothering me for a while. He was able to respectfully and professionally get into that area and try to work the tightness out. Then he proceeded to give me a good, long stretch. I walked out of there with no pain. The rooms are clean, place is quiet, and tables are comfortable. I have never been shorted on time either. If we start a few minutes late they still honor the full session. The only bummer is they are not open on Sundays. They do take walk-ins but I would call ahead just in case. I have only had great experiences here. I would highly recommend stopping by. Their staff and services are very professional and prices are extremely affordable. Since they charge a bit less than I'm used to paying, I usually leave a $40 tip on a 90 minute massage. Well worth it! I will continue coming here when I am in town.

Massage Essence is on the second floor. I used the staircase since I didn't find an elevator. The massage room is nicely decorated. The music is piped in from a wall mounted speaker. I was happy with the strength and techniques of my masseuse. The price is reasonable too, a 60 minutes signature massage was $65, cheaper than other places I have visited. Yes, I plan to be back next month.
