WOODWORKING CRAFTSMANSHIP at ITS VERY BEST! My wife & I…read morepurchased a solid walnut dining table many years ago and loved it so much we planned, but never got around to, finding living room furniture to match. I was introduced to Kent via a friend in the interior design business who told me he could build me ANYTHING I wanted. And he DID! With some discussions of my interest, Kent did some sketches, some minor tweaks and I commissioned him to make 6 pieces of solid walnut furniture in a "monastic" style. The end result simply blew me away. His craftsmanship is simply amazing. Several of the pieces were made with slightly canted legs. His fit and finish was phenomenal. Every joint, every mortise fit perfectly: tight, solid, virtually no gaps. The table tops are perfectly fitted on-edge. And the finished surfaces are, well, perfect! And after carefully selecting the wood, he arranged pieces with some special care, with particularly stunning grain patterns in the center, of for instance, the coffee table. (See picture!) Simply put, I could not be more pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of Kent's work. And I could not recommend him highly enough for any custom woodworking. Gene Stangel

Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for.
