    And Irish/UK import shop
    Andrew J.

What an enjoyable morning. We had seen this place as we drove around and found it on Yelp when we searched for breakfast. We arrived 15 minutes before it's 10 am opening and entered at 10 with two other parties. One group was there to pick out a confirmation dress and the other for breakfast. We did not get a fast meal, but a very enjoyable, leisurely breakfast. Fond memories of my trip to Ireland flooded me as I enjoyed my mini Irish breakfast. Food was fantastic and had a lovely couple conversations with the owner (I assume). We ended up shopping in the quaint import store as our meal was prepared and then again after we finished eating. We left with a wool fisherman's sweater and a lovely wool cape. We enjoyed every aspect of our morning splurge. A few touches on space and service could be attended to, but I would go back in a heartbeat to try some of the meat cakes we saw in the display. Another trip!

This place is a little gem! The people working were so sweet & helpful to my friend & I with picking out what teas to try. The food was delicious as well! Loved everything about it. Definitely will be going back asap!

    Nice selection of breakfast/brunch items.

Love the meat pies, chicken salad, and pots of tea with a large selection of loose tea to choose from. Nice cozy cafe to relax in.

Upon arrival they greeted us with our first pot and explained that we would simply leave the warming cover off of out pot if we wanted a new tea. Overall we tried five teas: Apple molasses, creme brulee, ginger pear, back porch, snowflake All were lovely but I really liked back porch the most! We were presented with several courses including salad, scones, soup, mini sandwiches, and dessert. Everything was incredibly delicious and made easy going afternoon. From each course I really liked certain things, the menu changes so make sure you double check! I really liked that. All the tableware was beautiful and elegant. The bathroom was upstairs with the gift shop and it was very cute and I found a lot of really nice things. I also liked that they had different teas that you could purchase to take home. This was n't a perfect birthday treat and I would highly recommend it for anyone. I also noticed that they offered gluten-free items for folks that needed that and I thought that was really awesome.

It was a busy afternoon and the home was packed with patrons, despite this our server was very attentive refilling our tea pots so we were able to sample many different teas. The house is two floors with the bathroom upstairs alongside a shop to purchase tea and trinkets. Everything was clean and the tea sets were different giving a very homey vibe to everything. I really enjoyed my food and left full despite the snack sized portions. I would highly suggest checking out this tea house for yourself and I wouldn't be surprised if we return sooner rather than later.

Cute shop. Idea is nice. Cafe was nice too…read more Food was just okay. Expensive for what you get & pretty bland taste. Beef & mushroom pie was dry, made with ground beef, not cut up pieces of beef'. Really needed some gravy, but some seasoning in the pie was needed too. Cheese & potato patty was okay, but bland. Typically Irish cheddar is nice & sharp, so maybe not enough cheese or American cheddar? Bought a pork pie, which was small. Had it the next day & the most dry pork pie I've had in my life (I'm 52 & grew up eating pork pies!). The meat jelly was almost non-existent, so no moisture in the pie. I threw it out after a couple of bites, it was too dry to eat. Workers in the cafe were nice. American though & not familiar with the food. Young girl didn't know the size of the pies when I was ordering, man told me the pasties (pronouncing it 'paste-ies' lol. Not using them for that!). Store worker was gruff when asking questions. Then when checking out said her arm & back were bothering her. Started into detail keeping us talking for about 15 minutes. Really didn't need to hear all her medical issues or how she was working there but wasn't happy! We won't be back. Shame as a nice idea.

I saw online it is by reservation only, so I requested tea for 2 and quickly received a confirmation. There is a small private parking lot where parking is scarce, especially for a handicapped space. You can always try your luck on nearby Main St. I was able to drive over a snow pile to secure a close space. The venue is locked otherwise so it is opened as reservations arrive. We were early but seated in a lovely table by a window seat. Lovely tea cups and a carafe of water were present on the tables. The menu consisted of new seasonal St Patrick's Day and Easter tea flavorings, along with a variety of black, white, green and herbal teas. Each food pairing was just the right portion, tasty and visually appealing. The food was plentiful. We even brought a small box of sweets home with us! The venue is perfect for dressing up if you want, or not. Parties and showers are perfect here. Seating is comfortable and the space is attractive. Price point is very reasonable. Under $30 per person for 4 courses and nearly unlimited tea offerings. I tipped generously because Lauren went above and beyond to showcase her menu and make sure it was enjoyed. I fully intend to visit here in the future and recommend others do as well.

I was visiting Lititz and came across this tea house. At first, I was thrilled to find it. I've…read morebeen enjoying afternoon/high tea for over 40 years at places all over the world, so I immediately put it on my list for my next trip to Litiz. However, when I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see a $7.95 upcharge for gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan options. In all my years of experiencing tea services, I've never seen an additional fee for dietary restrictions. As a vegetarian, this was especially disappointing. I live in a large metro area where many restaurants - large and small, accommodate dietary needs without extra charges. While I understand the need to notify the restaurant in advance, adding an upcharge for something so common today feels unnecessary and unwelcoming -- especially at a time when more and more people are reducing or eliminating meat. Unfortunately, this policy has not only turned me away as a potential customer, but it has also discouraged my friends who often visit Lititz with me. Even though they don't have dietary restrictions themselves, they view the surcharge as unnecessary and punitive, and it left all of us with a negative impression.
