(The table next to us did receive tongs). We were only given the small spoon for stirring the tea and had to use that for the white chili. Finally, after we finished it was 20 minutes before we could get our servers attention to get our bill. (Yes, I checked my watch). We were recently in town for the weekend and decided to book a Tea time at Steeped Tea Cafe. Booking a reservation was easy to do through their website. We were running late for our reservation, but they were happy to adjust our reservation time without issue. Inside the Tea Cafe, there are various rooms with small tables and chairs. Each table has its own unique set of tea wear which totally adds to the charm. We ended up sitting in the back "Red" room. The tables were well spaced, and all customers were also spaced out throughout the venue. The staff here could not have been nicer. Everyone from the waitress to the chef was great. They were all super friendly and engaging. The menu and tea changes seasonally. The menu also offers a variety of options from different "tea time" levels to ala carte items. We opted for the high tea which included tea, salad or soup, sandwiches and dessert. The food was plentiful and delicious. They also offer a kid tea option which was great for my daughter. The waitress even poured her milk into the tea cup which she loved. If you have the opportunity to visit Steeped Tea Cafe you should! read more

What an amazing tea we just had! Scones were warm and delicious! Potato soup and harvest salad also hit the spot. The tea was bottom less and yummy! The selection of sandwiches were great. Genuinely one of the coolest places I've ever experienced. It's like something out of a novel. It's a quaint spot with nice tables and amazing service. We were recommended the flowering tea, which was so cool to watch through the glass pot! We also got a pot of jasmine tea. Genuinely some of the best tea I've had in my life, and I'm totally a tea snob. I didn't get a chance to try any of the food, but I saw it on the other people's tables and it looked incredible. This place is an authentic experience and I highly recommend people make the trip! read more

Wonderful surprise! Was treated to tea time here as a late Christmas gift. Everything was terrific! They have lots of options for a traditional tea or a la carte menu items (drinks and food) for carryout or a quick meal. The prices were better than many similar places in the area and the portions were larger than the norm too. Everything we had to eat and drink was delicious and the service was exceptional. It was not crowded; we had the entire front room to ourselves (group of 3). The decor is a bit louder than I'm used to but the place settings and tea sets were unique and fun to examine. I pass this cafe daily and finally stopped in for lunch today. What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is cozy and elegant and the food was amazing. My soup and sandwich combo came with the most delicious blueberry scone that I have ever tasted. I chose a magnolia tea which was a pleasant surprise. I absolutely adore this charming little tea cafe. The staff is so friendly the food is AMAZING and most importantly the tea is always piping hot and fragrant. The apple cinnamon tea (which is not always on the menu but you can ask to see if they have it!) and cherry scones are my go-to and always delicious. This tea cafe is cheerful and delicious! We went a few weeks ago, and were impressed by how pretty and daintily arranged everything was. Sitting at their bright front window made our Sunday afternoon much more pleasant. Our friendly "tea tender" took our orders promptly, describing our options. She could not have been nicer or more attentive. The selection of teas is good - they offer black, green, oolong, flavored, and herbal. We got the plain black tea, which was just right for a chilly day. And my friend raved about her blueberry scone with cream. I sampled the sandwiches, which were unique AND tasty. And filling! Gouda and apple butter is an unexpected but fab idea for a tea sandwich. The desserts were good, but could not compete with those scones. Yum. This place was an absolute home run for mother's day. It was easy to find, and from the moment we walked in we were treated so well. The tea and food selection is so tasty. We all did the 'high tea' option to get the most out of the experience. It started with homemade scones that were SO fresh. Then we had soup or salad, and them a beautiful tray of delicious sandwiches and desserts came out. We all left with full bellies. The decor was also soooo charming and pretty.
