Date of Visit: 04/25/2026…read more It was a beautiful and needed to take Fritz out, I checked Google maps and found a cool craft beer place and saw they serve burgers. So off I went. Found it on MLK just past 30th...went inside and notice they don't have a kitchen but food trucks that serve...not what I wanted but had a beer any way. But where I was going with this is just across the street is this place and glad I did. It's my kinda neighborhood bar. The girl was quick to notice my presents and drink orders taken. I was wanting a burger so looked the menu over and the "Double Ralphy" LTO w/bacon...and upgrade to fries. As I waited for my burger I took in the place. I didn't go all the way in but there was a place to hide and relax, cool. Burger arrived and it looked great. I did say bacon earlier but I didn't notice it came with till now. I asked for medium and medium I got. And the LTO was fresh as well. The only thing if any, the fries could have been done just bit more. And these are the fries I prefer too. I can see me and wife out for a drive and stopping in for cold one, that kinda place. Peace.

I think next time I'll ask for it to mixed with just a little buffalo... ugh, my mouth is watering thinking of it! The place is totally unassuming, which usually means either the friendliest service or the best food (or sometimes both!), which I think would be the case for Sunset Grille. Fairly good sized wings, but it was the sauce. The ranch was also a hit!

Our waitress was sweet and funny and made good conversation. We ordered some drinks and a bunch of food and it all came out perfect and yummy and the view was so pretty next to the marina.

Very, very casual atmosphere. Love walking into a restaurant/bar where everyone turns to look at you and then start whispering. I was ready to jet, but others wanted to check out the outside. Not saying we're all that bougie but to say it has a patio is giving it too much credit. There are table, chairs and benches to sit on. It was toga night but only two of the staff dressed for the occasion and there was a DJ that came on while we waited for our dinner. Giovanni (who did not have on a toga) waited on our party of four and he was the highlight of our experience. He came out with a cocktail, yes cocktail that he claimed to devise that was delicious. Though a member of our party complained that the wine was ready to turn to vinegar, at least on his first glass. We order the chicken wings Garlic & Habanero) which were really good. I had the shrimp scampi which came with garlic bread and salad and all of this was very tasty. Husband had gyro and fries, which were so filling he had to get a to go box. Dinner guests both had the Catch of the Day which turned out to be sole, one grilled, one blackened and salads. He loved the grilled sole, don't think she was too keen on hers. All in all thank goodness the food was so good. I would say this place is designed more for locals because they sure weren't too friendly, except for Giovanni, to tourists and out of town guests.

The…read moreinterior is elegant, with views of a small harbor, and on past visits we've even seen dolphins. It's a large space with a modern bar, booths along the windows, tables scattered throughout, and two event rooms on either end of the main dining room. Sara greeted us promptly, as usual with a smile, and was attentive without hovering. I had a Buffalo Trace Manhattan, she had an Angry Orchard, and my small glass came with enough ice to keep it in the freezer for the next shift. I had the blackened shrimp tacos. Tasty, with a little tang, but this is where the pricing starts to raise an eyebrow. They were $17 for 2, and most other places give you 3 for $16 or less, usually with sides too. She had the steak quesadilla at $18, which also felt a little steep. Most others are $14 or less. Still, she enjoyed it, so there's that. For once, there was no 3% credit card upcharge, but at these prices, you have to figure it's already built in somewhere. The food was good overall, though I think the meal came in about $10 high. I also hear the place is for sale. Good food, service, ambiance, and view. All pretty common on the Gulf of America -- which is kind of the point, I guess. They've got a few easy, not-too-expensive fixes, so I'll leave it to you to be the judge.

It was easily accessible by the birthday girl who was using her walker. Service was wonderful! Sarah was prompt with bringing our drinks after we ordered them, and keeping those drinks full. She brought us our food orders as soon as they were ready. Everything was at the proper temperature and delicious. Our party ordered salmon, fried shrimp, fish & chips and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Our meals were filling, and what we couldn't eat came home with us! We are definitely returning for the fried shrimp!! We brought cake which Sarah expertly delivered to the table once we were done with dinner. Only one candle was not lit when she placed it in front of the birthday girl. But that was okay! She blew out the others to get her wish. I'm betting that wish was to return here. Everything was memorable and enjoyable!!
