This alterations specialist came recommend the bridal shop that I purchased by wedding dress for (LOHO Bride) since they did not have an in house alterations. I shopped around at a few places and ended up selecting this shop due to its proximity to my house, and it's relative high reviews here. I'll start off by saying that Paula, the alterations specialist, ultimately delivered a high quality end product and I have no problems with how my dress fit my body. Where we went wrong, was how she made me feel during the appointments that left a bad taste in my mouth. Comments included "this dress looks better on someone with a flatter chest and best on someone with a models body" had me feeling uncomfortable in a dress that I was in love with. I would hope that a tailors job is to make any bride feel beautiful in any dress that they brought in, not make comments that have you leaving the shop feeling body shamed, especially after paying $900+ for alterations of a very simple dress. After two fittings, upon dress pickup, Paula was not present when I arrived, and the staff of the dry cleaners shop said that they did not have my veil which I left with my gown to be pressed. After 5 minutes of frantic searching, they found it separated from my gown, but 5 minutes feels like eternity when you are a few weeks out from your wedding. As mentioned, i am nvery happy with the final product but wouldn't recommend to fellow brides if they want a tailor to make you feel beautiful inside and out. read more

Absolute lifesavers!!!! I could not recommend them more highly. Background: I had an (admittedly not well -made) dress that I bought to be a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. I'd previously gone to another tailor who said it was unfixable, but he would try. I got the dress back a week later, and my heart sunk. He could not fix the awful zipper bumps on my low backed dress. I ran around trying to find someone to fix it, with only a few days left to do so. I moved here from out of state and was trying to find a talented person to replace my British tailor back home. I had a small hole torn in my favorite suit pants that were plaid. This tailor was able to patch the tear like it never existed. It looked like they found all of the exact same color threads in a the plaid pattern and re-sewed it matching the same pattern, it was absolutely incredible! I recommend this tailor for anybody that needs anything done, plus they were incredibly polite, pleasant, and charming. I've had other alterations done there, and they were all flawless.
