This place could not do a very simple job. I asked for a set of buttons to be replaced on an organza silk shirt. They only replaced one button. This made no sense as the tailor was the one that suggested I buy all new buttons so it would match. To make matters worse when I called to see what happened. They told me they did job correctly. After I insisted they didn't, she asked the assistant who admitted the mistake. They offered to fix it but I no longer trusted the work. Bad work and bad service. read more

Her tailoring expertise is worth every penny, and I was able to feel fully confident on my wedding day. Nano is very patient and ensures you are completely satisfied before you leave. Definitely call to make an appointment as she is quite busy (not surprising, given her talent). The shop is small - there's one fitting room, but if you are coming with guests, she does have a few chairs for them to sit! I didn't find out until later that she does alterations for other non-wedding clothes as well so I am definitely going to be bringing more to her in the future. Nano is the most incredible and talented woman I have ever met! I will be going to her for every single need I have from now on! I brought her my wedding dress that had come after I'd lost a substantial amount of weight, so it was about 4 sizes too big. Nano had to completely restructure the dress in order to make it fit (the store couldn't send me a smaller size in time) so Nano made it happen! She came in on her days off multiple times to make sure the dress would be ready in time, and she made me feel so beyond safe and secure that everything would work out perfectly! Nano is the best wedding dress tailor in Southern California without question I bought my wedding dress from a salon in LA without checking yelp first (ladies you MUST check yelp while dress shopping) and to my horror I came to find that they have a reputation of altering dresses before you pick it up so that you'll need MORE work on it. They prey on women's emotions, and convince you that they are the only people who could fix it. Thank god I read the yelp review before and I promptly picked up my dress and was on the hunt for a great tailor. I found one tailor, they going to charge so much money, It would have come out to the same cost of the dress, and it also felt like a scheme so I left. Time was running out before the wedding and I was hysterical. I didn't know where to go. I had to scramble to find someone I finally trust when it felt everyone was trying to take advantage of me. I called the woman who made my veil in tears about the situation and she recommended Nano. I called right away and she was able to see me in the SAME HOUR I called. The dress was in bad shape. Not only it was it altered, the sleeves were sewn in BACK WARDS. The tailor I first went to never caught that this or that it was altered. Nano took one look at the dress and showed me everything that was wrong in 5 min. She was very honest on how bad the dress was, which was a relief because it was the first time someone was honest with me. She said it would be very hard but she could fix it! I trusted her right away. Over the next couple weeks, she practically built the dress back again. Not only was she excellent in skill, she was so loving, so kind, so patience. I felt like I was working with family. She built the dress back to my dream dress! It fit me perfectly and everyone complemented me on how perfectly it fit my body.
