Loved this bed and breakfast! Not only was this a great spot and walking distance to downtown but also close to the walking/biking trail in Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. The owner was very communicative and quick to respond. Room was comfortable and clean! Breakfast was made once you were ready and brought to you. They also have a lovely porch to enjoy your breakfast and coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. If you find yourself in Glen Arbor I highly recommend staying here!

The rooms were amazing and the grounds were wonderful to walk around, but above that, the service was fantastic. Before I left, I felt like I had become a close friend. Alice, who runs the place was so wonderful and the breakfast she made was the best I have had. In addition, her son Charles was one of the most interesting people I have met. Charles manages the property and takes care of the grounds, Bee Hives, Chickens, etc. Each place you looked there was something interesting; from the apple trees to the flowers all the way down to the rocks who were decorated by some very talented grandchildren. I not only highly recommend this B&B, I plan to go back every year to have our sales meeting.

When we arrived, we were greeted by Alice, our wonderful hostess, and provided a quick tour of the house. Rooms are large and well maintained, homey and alive with history. If you're looking to escape, I would highly recommend this gem, conveniently located centrally to Fishtown, numerous vineyards and a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Lastly, I would be remiss not to mention the breakfast Alice prepared. We were treated to Eggs Benedict, fresh baked muffins and plentiful fruit. Just an all around memorable stay.

Stayed here for one night during a Northwest Michigan nature getaway. Jan and Jim are both super hip kind folks that gladly take care of your every need or want. Jan was very accommodating with my vegan lifestyle and made me a delicious breakfast. The rooms are all decorated different, with lots of original and traditional Victorian decor. When the owner mentioned it, I was very disappointed, but once we were there, I was so happy with the opportunity. With any B&B, you're staying in the main house, having idle chit chat with other guests, and sometimes hear people in other rooms. The cabin, you have none of this, just perfect tranquility, silence, and isolation. The owners stocked up the fridge for us and we can have breakfast in our own cabin. It was more of a continental breakfast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, etc..., but it was so pleasant. The cabin is located about 500 feet from the main house and several miles from the main road, and about 8 miles from downtown Traverse City. You really get in the woods feeling without being to far from the city and you have a river flowing through your backyard. It is a really nice place and I would gladly stay there again.

You couldn't find two better hosts than Jim and Linda. But what about breakfast, you ask? That's great too. Our first morning was Almond Ciabatta French Toast with Michigan maple syrup and locally produced breakfast sausage. The next morning was this soufflé sort of dish with hash browns, mushrooms, and eggs served in a small bowl, with bacon on the side. Locally baked multi-grain bread was served with fresh Michigan preserves. Every day, there's a fresh fruit cup with berry yogurt and their delicious Korner Kottage Krunch (see KK website for details). Basic idea though, this is the best granola I've ever had. Otherwise, our room (Paris) was comfy and clean. The screened in front porch is nice for winding down with a good book. The location is perfect for walking around downtown, and is across the street from the beach. A quick drive takes you to wineries slightly North, to Old Mission Peninsula, and to downtown Traverse City. Free wi-fi too. Yelper alert--while sitting inside Korner Kottage, my iPhone yelp app said I couldn't check in because I was 2.2 miles away. Not sure if this is due to AT&T coverage, or the app.
