Today i have recieved a Parking Eye parking charge notice for £100, I promptly contacted the Copthorne, who could only offer me the advice to send proof to Parking Eye that I was attending a party in the Hotel. First off the location is great for anything going on in Wolverhampton City Centre not to far to walk. Arrived 30 minutes before the check in time but was allowed to check in early and get into our room. Arrived to our room but there was no door number on it (see picture) so filling in the gap between 2 and 4 we guessed this was our room. Booked a family room as there was 3 of us on this trip, I open the door to find a double bed, a single bed and a mattress. All of these were really uncomfortable and the double bed with 2 people on, you role into the middle due to a massive dip. We settle in for a couple of drinks and stick the TV on which looks as if it is about to fall of the wall due to the bracket (see pics) We then notice mold and damp all around the window absolutely terrible stuff, we could of asked to be moved but couldn't be bothered with the hassle of unpacking and moving. Went out to a concert and then we come back get something to eat and hit the hay. All night I could hear people in the corridors talking loudly like it was a party all night long, then the room next door are shouting. 2:30am I go to the reception where a specky yam yam is working, I ask him if he can do anything regarding the noise from next door and he laughs and see's what he can do. Anyhow get off to sleep for a few hours and then awaken. Go to open the blind on the window and it is dripping with condensation (the blind) all over the window seal. Also no free Wi-Fi thieves! Next time I will pay the extra and stay in either the Premier Inn or if I am feeling flush the Novotel.

No children allowed in pool and the pool area is dangerous. Go to this hotel if you don't want a good night sleep as it's very noisy and if you want to go in a cold jacuzzi or too hot spa area. They clearly can't even afford new massage beds.

Especially the big pool which you can use as a member is very nice and clean. The fitness facilities can be quite full - but as everywhere it depends on the time you go. The spinning courses are my personal tip... Jump on a bike and enjoy a cool workout in a dark music filled disco room. Spa treatments can be booked for an extra fee and are wonderful. The staff in all departments is very friendly. My only minus point is the high member fee of ca. £45 per month. Other than that a great place to go and a guaranteed sporty time!

Once you're in a Premier Inn it's sometimes difficult to remember which part of the UK you're in…read morebecause they are all so alike. One way in which I HAVE found they differ is in the attitude of the staff where I have seen the whole range from half asleep to hyper and rude to eager to please. At this particular Premier Inn the rooms were to the usual standard and nice and clean and it was situated near a retail park with several reasonable eateries si it was great for dinner. Breakfast was served in their own dining area and was top notch (I have noticed that there is a large degree of regional variation particularly where sausages are concerned). The staff here were sooo pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcome. When we arrived the flashy checking in computer had flashed it's last and gone off to sulk in a cyber corner so the reception staff were doing stuff the slow, human way. Bearing in mind that this was a busy time for check-in I couldn't believe the patience they had with so many grumpy, slow witted travellers (and they were still smiling!)
