Once you're in a Premier Inn it's sometimes difficult to remember which part of the UK you're in because they are all so alike.
One way in which I HAVE found they differ is in the attitude of the staff where I have seen the whole range from half asleep to hyper and rude to eager to please.
At this particular Premier Inn the rooms were to the usual standard and nice and clean and it was situated near a retail park with several reasonable eateries si it was great for dinner. Breakfast was served in their own dining area and was top notch (I have noticed that there is a large degree of regional variation particularly where sausages are concerned).
The staff here were sooo pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcome. When we arrived the flashy checking in computer had flashed it's last and gone off to sulk in a cyber corner so the reception staff were doing stuff the slow, human way.
