After searching for a plumber here on yelp. Yelp recommended a few plumbers and about 6 plumbers started blowing up my phone. Some of the estimates we're outrageous. After asking on Nextdoor neighborhood who they recommend, I searched for The Supple Plumber and found the page. I sent a message, and he got back with me. Since it was non emergency repair, we agreed to a day convenient for both. He had to order parts needed and came back a week after to repair the shower drain that had been slowly leaking for a couple or so years. I also had him replace the water spigot on the side of the house. We hired Tracy to replace our pipes. He worked with our schedule and got us in very quickly. His quote was about $10k below the other estimates we got. He was clearly looking for ways he could do the job well, but keep costs down as much as possible. We were very happy with the results. The furnace guys remarked on how much they liked his work Mr. Supple is one of the few that can work with natural gas and left no trace. After calling other plumbers, I decided to hire Tracy (The Supple Plumber). I'd never used his services before, but I can tell you this - the next time I need a plumber, he'll be the one I call! I needed to replace two toilets in my home. With his guidance, I was able to select two different toilets (for reasons of our height differences within the household), even though I knew absolutely nothing about them. He set up an appointment for me, and showed up as promised. Good communication and follow-through so far. He was very thorough on the job, explaining what he was doing and why. He kept his work area very clean, and paid attention to every detail of the job. He made sure (two or three times) that there were no leaks on either toilet's connections before he left. Quick, friendly, knowledgeable and above all, did not try and take advantage of the situation. I had multiple other plumbers come out when my tankless water heater quit working and without giving it much thought or effort informed me that it would need to be replaced. The estimates were from $4000 to $7000. Tracy spent 20 minutes and replaced a tiny O ring and the family has hot water again. Tracy answered my call after regular business hours and booked an appointment within 48 hours. He was prompt, courteous, and clearly skilled in his trade. Our issue was a mystery for a bit, but he was creative in the investigative area to identify the problem. Ours was an issue with the condensate pump on our furnace spilling over just before the pump ran. This was two days before a move out-of-state, and although this was not quite a plumbing issue, I looked at Tracy and asked if I could set him on the task to procure and replace the pump. (I had people crating breakable items, movers packing my household items, two trucks taking donations and discard items, a professional organizer, AND a pest control technician at my house at the same time he was there; I had no further capacity to find and hire this job out.) He accepted the task, conferred with an HVAC technician for a recommendation on the best part for replacement, procured and installed it. His prices were fair, the area was cleaned up and everything tested for proper function, and he showed me he defective part and explained how the new part would function. Based on other positive reviews, we initially reached out to Tracy for an emergency leakage on our 13 year old gas hot water heater. He responded promptly and quickly fixed the leaking water hose. We discussed options to repair/replace the hot water heater and we decided to go to a tankless unit. This was our first tankless hot water unit, so we were unsure of what to expect. Tracy clearly described the differences. He followed-up with us, scheduled and arrived on time as promised. This was a difficult install in a very small cramped corner of our utility room. And he had to completely convert from the old water tank to a new tankless unit! But Tracy and his son did an absolutely outstanding job on the installation. He even managed to fit in an extra job for my wife and myself once he finished work at our business. Let's put things into perspective, my wife and I run a family owned business that we are intensely proud of and don't trust our work to just anyone. He conducted himself in an impeccably professional manner, had a good sense of humor and even found a flaw in my website which I didn't even know was there.
