I originally came because I heard this food truck had chicken and waffles tacos, but at the last second I changed my order to the fried chicken bahn mi and I tell you, my friends, NOT A BAD DECISION. This bad boy is piled with delicious fried chicken, pickled radish and carrot, and the most amazing sauce. The baguette is locally sourced and I am so glad to be GETTING THIS BREAD. I'll be back for those tacos, though, and if they are half as good as this bahn mi I'll be more than happy.

Much like Howie K. I spent my first few years here in ABQ complaining about how there were no food truck, even Taco Trucks were limited. And then one day, Talin decided they were gonna host a Food Truck day...(If you haven't experienced Food Truck Wednesday at Talin, whats wrong with you? Why are you even on Yelp?) Anyway...a few months go by and BOOM! We got trucks...needless to say its a good good thing. I have frequented Supper Truck on many occasions and in a couple locations that they frequent (Sandia, Talin, and Marble) I've tried the Bahn Mi, Brisket Tacos, Fries, Moon Pies, Shrimp and Grits, Jambalaya. Wings...that had a name...that I don't remember...the fish tacos when Dia De los Tacos made a come back tour, and maybe a couple other specials that escape me at the moment. I would have been at the Yelp event had it not been for that pesky "job" thing I have to do occasionally. I think the Bahn Mi and Brisket Tacos are tied for my favorite Supper Truck foods and I really love the waffle fries with the Mojo...got a little drool goin there for a minute.. I should also mention that their service is pretty legit too, I spent a month on crutches and would still visit them at Talin and they would bring the food out to the car so I wouldn't have perform some stupid human tricks to get myself back to the car with bags in hand, Thanks Guys! The knee is much better now, lol. If you're into the food truck scene and haven't tried them yet you need to get on it. If you're not into the new food truck scene, fix yourself. Bonus: My Instagram shot of their food made it into IQ newspaper!

We saw this truck outside Tractor on a Friday night. They are nice enough to bring food inside the brewery if you tell them u are eating inside. She gave me a beanie baby thing to locate me inside which was nice since it would have been almost a 10 min wait if you had to stay outside. My review is purely on my order of shrimp and grits....yummy yummy..southern comfort food to the max. Don't eat if u are not into cream and butter.... Lots of that going on in this dish. The grits were super dense but in a good filling way...which went really well with the bourbon cream sauce...there were three shrimp which were flavored really well but felt there could have been more shrimp to offset how much grits there were .. Even just one more shrimp. We were supposed to eat a snack, have a beer, then go out to dinner but I got so full from these grits that we cancelled dinner plans.... Super filling which is good since it was about 10$. Also the presentation was pretty coming from a truck :) I look forward trying them out again if I see them outside tractor... Great to have with a beer!

I started fantasizing about the Chicken Bahn mi. That is what it takes for me to declare 5 stars. We have eaten it twice and this is evil genius. They had a promo going on at Marble brewing yesterday for the Sansa sour release, and you got some free truffle fires with purchase. Fries were hand cut and awesome. We had the fried pickles a couple weeks ago. Boyfriend thought they were some of the best he had ever had. They were too salty for me to enjoy completely. It can get kind of crazy with the pickles already being brined. The only other thing is the bread with the bahn mi sandwich usually ends up falling apart. This is only a minor setback- still awesome. Make sure you have napkins. I have yet to try the shrimp and grits. I am sure I will. I make this dish at home a couple times a year, after I got addicted eating it at Lucile's in Boulder. If you are craving creole food and are in Colorado make sure you go to Lucile's they have one in Denver, Boulder and Ft Collins. They have amazing Beignets, shrimp and grits, and mile high biscuits. The Beignets I found to be better than Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. I guess I am kind of suggesting that Supper truck should start serving the hole less doughnuty treats. Who doesn't love them some desert on occasion.

Was at marble brewery on a Saturday night and HAD to get this! I LOVE pickled vegetables and had to get the chicken Vietnamese sandwich. The vegetables were amazing and the bread, perfect. If I were to go all food network on you I'd say the only thing wrong is the chicken on it. It wasn't bad, don't get me wrong. I just think the Cajun chicken thickly sliced takes away from the sandwich. Maybe shredded chicken with an herb flavor would better compliment this lovely dish. My husband had the beef (different burrito?). It was very good! Maybe too many potatoes but still delicious. The customer service was great too!

Chicken and Waffle Taco, if you have never had this I feel sorry for you, your life is incomplete

Super Truck has truly brought something fun, new and different to Albuquerque. They are so quirky and unique. Amy (the owner) is an absolute sweet heart and makes fantastic food. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Their shrimp and grits are a staple. Also I would recommend following them on Facebook because very often they will have delicious items they will serve that aren't on the menu if you ask nicely for them:) Some of the things that aren't on their staple menu but they have occasionally happen to be my favorite. I had the pleasure of having the Lobster Nachos that I know are very rare and limited. Butter poached lobster, fresh corn chips, Gruyere cheese, and mango salsa...I have dreams about this dish. OMG supper truck please make this again! Also the Chicken and Waffles with Strawberry butter compote, dear lord that is absolutely amazing. Just go there, Go now!

Fried Pickles. Definitely not an improvement. Please go back to slices. Spears are too big, skins are tough.

Since their business name includes "taco" I had to try them out. I have to say that their tacos are very good with my favorite being the tripitas. I was also curious about their burgers since those seem to be an item that people get. I ordered the monster burger which is a Mexican style burger loaded with all kinds of goodies including winnies and ham. My description of it doesn't do it justice so take a look at my pics. Their tacos are very good but you also need to try one of their burgers, especially if you have a monster appetite.

My husband and I were super excited to try them, this was our first meal out of a bus! The goat birria is to die for! We ordered it in a burrito and next time we will get it in tacos with consume. If the birria is this amazing without consume, I can't imagine with it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos were also yummy and very fresh. It is just that the birria was so amazing! After you order at the counter (or you can call ahead to order) they give you a buzzer so you know when the food is ready. We came on a weeknight and they were pretty busy.

We were worried about finding a table for a family of 4 since the main seating area is not the largest & it was really busy. But a table cleared right after we ordered so it worked out. The service was warm and friendly. They have a good selection of food - we wanted to try so many things. I had the chicken, barbacoa, and al pastor tacos. My wife tried the vegetartian tacos. Our kids ordered the asada baked potato and the asada nachos. Everything was delicious and tasted authentic. We've eaten many good meals in Mexico and this food tasted as good & possibly better! It's been a while since we've been this excited and satisfied while eating a meal - everyone was so quiet devouring their food. Just driving up to the restaurant you can catch the awesome scent of delicious food working up your hunger. There's so much to like about this place. The workers are friendly. There's an app you can use to order ahead & have ready to pick up using the drive through. They have an awesome menu & delicious food. The churros & agua fresca are great. The main area is family-friendly, but there is a bar/more lively indoor area & outdoor seating where you can hang out with your friends while having drinks and good food. There is an energetic happy vibe here. We have added this restaurant as one of our top go-to places when we go out to eat. Our kids get excited when we tell them that we're going to eat here! This place is a hidden gem - I highly recommend trying it out!

We ordered a half order of the Frida Pie(Nachos), and I got a fish taco plus a fried chicken taco. We asked to add carne asada to the nachos as well. Overall we were very disappointed in the food. I'm not sure why my initial review does not show anymore, but the first few times I went I really liked the two tacos I ordered this time. I never cared much for the various salsa's they offer, but the traditional one is good. Maybe this time, it was an off day, I'm not sure, but nothing was very good. The fish taco was bland, and not very flavorful. The chicken taco had good flavor at least. The tortillas are very good, I can give them that. The nachos was the worst part for sure. Even starving with no food we didn't like them. There was some sort of flavor that was just off, but I couldn't put my finger on it. The carne asada we asked for was a ground meat of some sort, not sure what it actually was. We didn't finish our food, and left dissatisfied. We did review through the receipt, and were refunded a portion of our meal, which shows that management cares, and takes the time to look at reviews, which I respect. Had that not happened this would be a 1 or 2 star review based on just this visit. Because they acted, and we had better prior experience I'm giving 3.
