Worth the stop! It's a perfect place to pack your picnic basket! But for the bright, gorgeous front door, you might miss this little gem stationed just to the left of the local cafe. Selection: 10/10 Customer service: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Vibes: 10/10 I wouldn't normally think to do a review on a little sundry/ convenience shop but this one really had me smiling. First, they've really managed to fit a ton in here: it's a fruit stop, an apothecary (of sorts), a bulk supply, a meat and dairy stop, an eco friendly home supply store, a candy store, and they even had a tiny herb / plant start selection! Second, they get extra points for carrying local options, but they get extra, extra points for carrying such a wide and eclectic variety of things! Every where I looked, there was something new I had never seen and wanted to try. It's very small but they've managed to make it feel very organized and spacious. Will definitely be back to see what's new in stock!

Winning combo: dark chocolate and a cappuccino.

This space includes a cafe and an independent shop/boutique in the back which sources LOCAL ingredients from the Bay Area, SoCal and the Pacific NW. The shop is really incredible though on the pricey side ($20 for a chocolate bar). I loved their mission statement inscribed on the front door (please take the time to read it through!). Even as a longtime Bay Area resident, I have discovered some great independent brands and products on my visits here I didn't know about, like RAD, Ritual chocolates, organic herbal teas, spices/condiments, and more. And other brands that were familiar and of high quality (Fifth Crow Farms, Wise Goat organics), and organic self-care products. This is always the highlight of my visits! The coffee at the cafe (Sightglass), which we always get, is good too and well made. But I agree with other reviews that the barista's service could be friendlier. She seemed a bit annoyed by my questions about the products, and this is how I figured out that they are separate from the shop per se. Warm and welcoming service would have been an added plus.

Beautiful everything, good vibes guaranteed, whimsical small store. You won't leave hand emptied and you won't leave without taking some selfies with the cute mural as background. It is half grocery store old school meet bohemian, meet hippie meet hipster, as well as a grab-and-go store for your immediate needs. Loved the service, the good ambiance and the interesting and unique products they sell. A must visit when in lovely Pescadero.

Great vibes in here! Adorable decor everywhere you look

It is rare to say this, but I promise this treasure of a shop will thrill and delight you! My friend and I entertained ourselves for over 1 hour in here, fascinated by every unique, ethically produced, fabulous item that was for sale. We could not stop placing items in our baskets, because EVERYthing would make the perfect thoughtful gift, stocking stuffer, elevate our picnic lunch or would simply give us a taste of a special local delicacy. The good vibes in here are contagious, too! The lovely lady working here is just as engaging, patient, hard-working and knowledgeable as could be. Prices are higher than at a conventional big store (due to their very special, limited addition, hyper-local qualities) but we left feeling pure bliss. Please support this amazing little shop!

The Sunshine market and grocery is delightfully located across the street from Duarte's Tavern in Pescadero. The Sunshine offers carefully selected cheeses, fruits, meats and even house made soups such as Ramen. Other bulk dry goods and local fish makes for a special stop to gather all the best elements for a weekend dinner. They also offer local honey and chocolate for that perfect picnic on the coast. Knowledgeable staff helps explain where the items are sourced and cooking ideas too. Check out the front door prose about the store vision in the community.

A diamond in the rough...and worth the drive out to Pescadero. They offer everything from artisan salami and fresh local produce to health products and hand crafted cutlery. Delicious prepared food including ramen and healthy desserts are meticulously crafted with both love and precision. Their unique produce selections never fail to "wow" me...everything from local lion's mane mushrooms to jujubes. The owner's vision is written on the door... (see photo) and this shop perfectly embodies her dream. The employees have incredible product knowledge and passion (very rare) and always have a smile...likely because the environment is always radiating love and positivity. Unique businesses like this are a dying breed and we need to support them!!

    Red popcorn. Best ever.

I'm giving 4 stars because the store is great for the regular shoppers. The store is open daily from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. The employees were friendly and available. My wife didn't find the lip balm that she was looking for, but a male employee did his best to help her. The Christmas decorations are low-key, but nice. There are even a lot of small stockings with the names of the employees on them. I'm bringing this up because the staff being like a family was the basic vibe that I felt. There were a good number of items on sale. There were also some NEW FOR YOU items. A lot of the signage here looks vintage, but it's all easy to read and helpful. There's a decent selection of beef jerky products, but zero-sugar meat sticks taste too bland to me. I was willing to buy an egg salad or tuna sandwich, but neither seem to be sold here. The selection of prebiotic drinks is excellent. (When I tried the drinks years ago, my stomach did so many backflips that it made a gymnastics team.) 3 shoppers were annoying and in the way, but that's a common theme when I go grocery shopping anywhere. Note: Both prices include tax. BROOKiE SQUARES CHOCOLATE CHIP ($5.26): 7.5/10. The ones from another chain are better, but my wife is a fan. The Tom's deodorant for my son was $11.06. This is a bit pricey. Powerhouse Hobbs: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/66/Will_%22Powerhouse%22_Hobbs%2C_2022_%28headshot%29.jpg A local professional wrestler entered the store right after we left (I was stunned, and only quietly said hi). He plays a heel (a bad guy), and he was snarling when he walked up. It's nice that he stays in character. Lol. As a smaller store, I typically don't do a full grocery run there, but I love the quality of many of their items, so I come here frequently. Staff tends to be fairly stable and many of their items friendly people who serve me have been here for some time. I generally find folks to be super helpful. I also trust their fish department - something I don't do at some of the other grocery stores. And, as I said,t heir meat department in general is quite good. The store is well stocked and well-run -- it's always a pleasant stop when I can drop in. I'd probably give it a 5th star if I could find a way to do most of my shopping there, which I just can't. But I love it nevertheless - even through the myriad name changes it's experienced over the past decade or so as they've somewhat inexplicably changed their name several times. (Mid-life crisis? Corporate shuffling? Reinvesting? Who knows? I just know that when I tell my wife I'm going to the store, I stumble through two names they used to have before I get to the right one.) I do recommend Silver Creek Community Market and, if you live nearby, please consider supporting this store with your business - it's so nice to have a decent grocery near your home.

Although we don't do all of our grocery shopping here, cause that would be fairly expensive and they don't have everything we need for our big grocery runs, we do shop here at least 2-3 times a week. Very frequently grabbing a sandwich, or sushi or something else easy on the go. The produce is great, the meat we've gotten from the butcher has been good, but we don't buy it often. Big praise for Patrick and Peggy in the deli, those two are amazing employees. Helpful, patient and always polite. I understand not all the customers are easy, that's an understatement, but those two hold it down and are awesome. A couple of the younger guys in the deli are a bit grumpy and seem to hate their job, but not a big deal. Also love Max, who works the register but usually stocks, he's awesome too. He's super helpful and works fast, nice guy. Give Patrick, Peggy and Max a raise! Their signature sandwiches are generously sized and the ingredients are quality. Fairly priced for what we've come to expect these days. The premade breakfast burritos are great, so is a lot of the other food you can get from the deli area. I don't get the hot food much cause it's pretty expensive by the pound for any meat dish, but when I've gotten it it's always been tasty.

It's a grocery store, but has a bit of a boutique and rich vibe. It's one of the few places to get Mary's Chicken in the area and I have to get chocolate every time I go in there. The ambiance seems very hygienic to me, so I feel drawn into the place when I walk by. The Nature Stop has nice stuff, but my review has to be in earnest... maybe 2 or 3 stars? It's annoying that through several iterations of ridiculousness, you have to expect encountering some unnecessary and incompetent problem during each transaction. Two different cashiers didn't seem to understand the concept of tare weight. They weighed the meat with the packaging and attempted to charge me for it, despite the fact that the weight of the meat was printed directly on the packaging. I've worked in a meat department before and I have never seen that kind of inept behavior. It's insulting to the customer. So at the present time, the 2021 Domaine Bousquet Malbec is $11.99 here. The cashier scanned it and it came up as zero. He joked that it was free, but then had the audacity to offer me the obviously more expensive reserve price of $16.99, like the reserve one right next to it, and laughed in my face. I passed as I knew that Trader Joe's has the exact same thing for $9.99. Tonight, the Elysian 'tiger beer', listed at $13.99, rang up at $17.99, the same as their space dust. I passed, but they should at least have offered to have honored the price they had printed out for customers to read. The Space Dust IPA at S&S Market, one block away, was $15.99, so I bought it there and got to pet their cat too. It's a bit of a first world problem, but I didn't notice until being at home that my $6.25 chocolate bar, which is more than I made hourly when younger, was comprised of the wrong variety. I grabbed the chocolate bar behind the front one, to avoid the most touched one. It is a berry chocolate bar instead of the ginger one, and it's great, but still, the employees should be better at recovery. I was one of about two people in the store and it was not busy. I recommend going to this place to get ideas. Double check all the prices and shop around, but they have great merchandise. My suggestion to the owner is to install a self-checkout. The guy stocking merchandise was very helpful tonight with my bags.
