The hotel overbooked without telling us until we showed up to the hotel. The staff was incredibly disrespectful and unhelpful.

Great experience…read more Extra praise to DEMETRIA in the front desk for having a smile on no matter how many questions I asked. Extra praise to BRIDGETTE from the arcade department. She is one person doing the job of 70 people all with a smile. Each of the staff were amazing !!! Looking forward to returning.

Their waterpark is only open from 11 AM to 7 PM when basically every other waterpark that I've ever been to is open at least 12 hours a day. When the waterpark is closed, there is nothing else available in this place. Food is almost impossible to come by and if you do, you will wait an incredibly long time. The waterpark is small and crowded. Almost all the restaurants are closed until five if they open at all. Our room which was over $400 a night was not what I expected in the bathroom looked like something that you would see in a prison with the drain in the middle of the floor of the bathroom no designated shower or bath area it's just a shower curtain which had molded all over the bottom of it, over a tile floor. Our garbage had someone else else's tissues in it and our shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all empty. This made me wonder what we waited till 5 o'clock for because checkout is at 11 and check-in is at four. That's five hours for their staff to clean the rooms. I think that that is enough time if you were properly staffed which they are far from. It was the worst resort waterpark I've ever seen or been to. The manager, sabrina is elusive. I asked for her when Daniel was at the front desk when we were trying to figure out when our room was going to be ready and he couldn't find her and then the next morning I called down and got Sabrina on the phone, but she put me on hold for forcing me to go downstairs and then wait for her yet again. This place is so poorly managed. The only good thing I can say is that the employees were nice. And I think that that says a lot because they're constantly hearing how horrible this place is and they all know it. This was also the most expensive waterpark we've ever been to. Please save your money. This place is an absolute rip off, and you will be sadly disappointed.

Brochure said it had a sauna, which I looked for by the gym and pool. No, there isn't a sauna. The breakfast was complimentary, but definitely not hot or what I would call continental. It was more like a few bagels, a pancake machine, and some free yogurt or coffee. I've seen worse, but this is still sub-standard. On the plus, it is private. The staff was friendly. I didn't feel unsafe staying here. It was fairly clean and the housekeeping did a good job. It wasn't the worst hotel ever, but it did feel like stepping back in time to the 90s. For the price, actually not too bad. It fit the price for a night stay fairly.

This is the same for 'The Sullivan' location (and I'm going to copy and paste to that one too.)…read more Stayed here on a Tuesday night after doing some Borscht Belt photography of the old resorts during my vacation. It's annoying how this place is still $135-180 a night on a flippin Tuesday considering this is such a sleepy little sticks town and not everything is even open that early on in the week. But anyway, we could have stayed in a normal king room but of course we took the bougie route and got the king suite w jacuzzi tub. OH YES. And it was pretty much worth it! (for pics, inquire within for a small fee..Cough..) So for about $215 with tax, we were able to enjoy the pool which is open until 10pm and smells delightfully like cedar (i could have stayed in there all night) but was a bit on the chilly side. I didn't mind much but compared to other hotel pools it was not the usual 80 but rather around 70. Still nice though. Sauna in locker room area that i didn't check out and an awesome beer joint across the street that will deliver if you call ahead of time. Good ass food and super affordable! Bed was clean and comfy but they need to work on their pillow game. Very soft and flat pillows and only 4 small ones. I would have liked 6 if they were this size or at least 4 nice oversized. Tv was a tit fuzzy on majority of channels but who cares, I wasn't there for to watch that. Nice robes by the tub but um, don't think about jacking them bc they are a whopping $75 a pop if you do... better off nabbing some at target for a fraction of that. Would I come again? Absolutely. Plus I think the sofa at the foot of the king bed was a pullout so you could def fit 4 ppl comfortably and split the bill. No bed bugs spotted, no strange stains, only funky smell was in the hall outside the room. I might be back! Oh and um....abundant pokemon...wait what? Oh also, continental breakfast from 6-9 maybe until 10 and it had basic things like bagels, waffles, etc and it wasnt too bad.

When we arrived at 2:30, we asked if we could possibly check in early, but was told we had to wait til 4. No worries. Went to have a bite to eat at El Gatos and then walked around the casino for a bit. We came back at 3:45 to a line out of the hotel front door to check in and one employee checking in guests. We finally got to check in after 4. Went up to room which was not very clean, no laundry bag, etc but we were in a rush to shower and get to the show. When we got back, I informed the guy front desk that the bathroom was not cleaned well. He said they'd put a note in the system. Next morning at check out I spoke to the girl at the front desk of the room and the vomit on the 4th floor in the hallway and it looked like someone tried to clean it up; but it still smelled and there was still remnants of it. She apologized and said someone would call. A few days later someone left a VM on my husband's phone that they would credit us the $25 resort fee. I didn't think that was acceptable, so I called back and spoke to Libby who was very nice. She said she would have another manager call me back, but over a week later, no one has called back. Pretty disappointing experience.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! dirty place! when we first arrived to our…read moreroom, there was a piece of gum stuck on the floor. didnt notice it at first, until my dog started to scrape it off the floor. dirty carpeting, wires hanging in the middle of the room, air conditioners blowing right onto beds, and they are not even working properly. bathroom, that's another story- shower rod/curtain fell on top of my head while i was showering. not a table to put your things down. a bug was crawling on my bed. linens are yellow, towels look like they are older than i am, which is over 30 yrs old. Lets' talk about food, well, you better stock something up in u'r refrigerator, otherwise, ...they pack 250-300 people all at once in a diner, and everyone is breathing on you, looking at you, coughing at you. waiters, not even professionals, bring u a plate that looks like vomit! just one look of it, and you lose u'r appetite! i asked for juice or soda, "sorry, we dont have that!" . before coming over to this resort, we asked Natasha, what kind of drinking water do u guys have? she responded that everyone drinks from the faucet. hmmm, ok, i am in my room, not even a cup! was i supposed to drink like a dog from a faucet????? if anyone is inquiring about pictures, i have pictures, email me and i will supply them to you. Not only was my vacation ruined, my sisters, my mom, and the children :(

I would give this place 2.5, but I'll be fair. Target age group -below 15 and over 55, give or take…read morea few years, not in between (I fall in the in-between category)! I was very excited to go and checked their website every day a week prior to my arrival. And few days before, stumbled upon the review below. I was terrified and prepared myself for the worst, camping conditions worst! I guess low expectations lessened the blow. The rooms are very run down. All the bathrooms have a very strong urinal odor very unpleasant and hard to bare. The bed cover was stained, lots of red stains. The pillows also had red stains on them. Some looked like markers, others did not. And yes the towels are very stained, both yellow and black stains, I wonder if these people ever heard of bleach. There is also taxidermy of dead bugs on the white walls. And finally TV: 5 Russian channels, 3 kids' channels, 1 HBO. Now the food. They feed you 3 meals a day. Got to say the variety is reasonable. The portions, well kids and adults get the same portions. But between the appetizers and the leftovers of kids who don't eat one can manage to get full. I didn't enjoy their homemade Russian styled food, but others didn't complain. The tea cups are not clean well, and water that they serve does not seem like bottled water. As mentioned below there is no water in the rooms, and the tap water just smells of chlorine. After reading the review below, we armed ourselves with bottled water from home. Also if not too much of a hassle bring your own bedding. Now the reason I gave this place 3 stars not 1, is because of how much I see others enjoying this place. Grandparents and their grandkids love it. They come here for 1 to 2 weeks in a row. And they come back over and over again. The kids don't care about the unsanitary conditions and their adults either don't care or don't notice. There is warm-up aerobics for the elderly before breakfast by the pool. If your windows are facing the pool you will get a Russian music wakeup call. But its not bad because you need to be up for breakfast. It starts at 9 and ends at around 945. And you must come on (or close to) time. In the evenings there are also music played for kids and adults, both seem to enjoy it. There is a pond with fish and turtles. Ducks and their poop dominate the grass. There is playgrounds for kids. Overall there are things to do, and the air is fresh. Didn't go to the pool so cannot comment on that, but you cannot swim in their pond. So besides the eh food and smelly rooms the place is not terrible. But if you are between ages 15-55, not the place for you. And if you don't speak Russian forget about it, only once who speak English at this place are kids.
