The grounds are beautiful. I have watched chipmunks play and watched the deer walk around. The stream is peaceful. The sites are beautiful and I am so happy that I moved to such a peaceful place with my camping family. I love my site with the woods right behind me. There are places for my kids to explore. I couldn't be happier and I cannot wait for the beginning of the 2019 season to start.

They let us checkin at 10am and leave past checkout. Although it wasn't anything special, everything went remarkably smoothly and we enjoyed the experience.

Campsite (3/5): These are a bit stacked on top of each other but our group had two next to each other so it didn't impact us too much. Ambiance (4/5): These campsites are right on the water which is absolutely stunning! You really feel like you're in nature, but there is a major road near the top campsites and even by the water you can hear road noise. There was a huge group at the top which partied into the night though we're up late anyhow and it was no issue for us. Consider earplugs if you're not like us. Bathrooms (4/5): These were relatively clean for a campground bathroom. Minus a star here because on the last day the women's room was out of order -- but I believe it was due to another guest, as a member of our party heard someone say "oh no it's not flushing!" TL;DR: Great for those late-into-the-night campers. If you stay here make sure you get a waterfront spot.

6 Hours of Sunburned Regret - Landers River Trap........f you've ever dreamed of drifting…read morepeacefully down a river for three relaxing hours, don't come here -- unless you meant six hours of sun-scorched misery while your children cry and you paddle like a deranged gondolier just to keep moving. Landers assured us our 5-mile tubing trip would be a chill three-hour float. Cute. The Delaware River clearly didn't get the memo, because in some spots the current stops entirely. You'll have to use your arms like oars -- not fun when your only paddles are your hands and growing resentment. Pro tip: if you have kids under 12, they'll be too small for the massive tubes and too weak to help. So congrats -- you're towing a human anchor while slowly baking alive. And just when you think you've made it, Landers hits you with the final boss: a shoreline of thick, goopy mud that sucks your shoes off and your soul with it. Because who doesn't want to end the worst vacation day ever by trudging through six inches of swamp muck? Never again. Thanks for the trauma, Landers.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The campsites are well-spaced, and each spot comes with a picnic table. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, and the water temperature was warm enough for a comfortable shower. The camp also has a small store with all the essentials, and there's a Walmart and McDonald's nearby for anything you may need beyond that. They keep the area tidy, with clean trash bins and bags provided, and the trash is picked up in the morning. The only downside was the lack of night patrol. There were several loud parties making it difficult to sleep, though I understand this is more of an issue with guests not being considerate. Additionally, the site next to ours had a notably loud snorer, which made things a bit more challenging. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Kittatinny K-Camp.

Pocono/Delaware scenery is definitely 5 stars but it is not KC achievement. We have used KC for the last 20 years every year, and firsthand witnessed how it is going downhill. On the last trip, none of the canoes had working foot rests, which is a must have if you want to row correctly and not break your back. And that is where, Daniel and Chris came to the rescue - they dove into 2 trailers and found us 4 working boats. It is a good thing that it was a mid-week and they were able to provide such personal touch. Just sad when you see a company going downhill like that.

Knowing that she was with people who were nurturing, patient, and truly cared about her well-being gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work. They created a warm, supportive environment not just for the babies, but for the parents too. For the past four years, Little Pals has been so much more than a school to us; it's felt like…read morefamily. That's how we've always been treated, and it's how we'll always think of the incredible group of people here. The care and attention both of our children have received has been nothing short of exemplary. They've truly thrived at Little Pals, and we can already see how the foundation this school provided has played a big role in their success beyond preschool. It's a big thing to send your firstborn off to school. Harder still when that happens at the tail end of a pandemic like it did for us. Is this the right school academically? Will my child adapt socially? Will they thrive? Little Pals checked all the boxes and then some. They made our children feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, while also setting high academic standards. And they did an outstanding job with us parents too! Calming our nerves (especially this parent), and making everything feel right immediately. We've never doubted our choice for an instant. Our children leave Little Pals with a solid academic foundation: recognizing and writing letters and numbers, early sight words, counting to 100, and reading beginner books with confidence. Their handwriting improved tremendously; they developed strong problem solving skills and a genuine love of learning. They still talk about songs, lessons, and moments from class. It's incredible to see how far ahead they've been - both academically and socially - compared to where I remember being at that age. Communication is excellent. In addition to parent/teacher conferences and detailed reports, the teachers were always available to chat. I never felt rushed, and I can be quite talkative! There are field trips, an open house, Christmas concerts, and family night, all of which made us feel connected to the school and involved in our children's early education. There are always activities and plenty of pictures. Our kids made friends - and we made friends too! We've experienced just about every aspect of Little Pals, from the toddler room to aftercare for our first grader. Our kids attended summer camp here, and even brought their cousins along! That's how much we trust and value this place. I truly cannot say enough good things about this school. Coming from the mental health field, Children's Safe Stay provides an emotionally intelligent and safe environment for children to not only play but learn as well. The directors are always developing new programs and bringing in the latest activities for campers of all ages. One of the newest additions to the camp is the climbing wall and zip line. My kids could not get enough of them. My kids are also huge fans of animals and the fact that Deerkill has a pony, and a couple of friendly alpacas is a great plus. Overall, I would recommend Deerkill to anyone that would like to provide their kids with the opportunity to have summers they will never forget making life long friends along the way.
