We even left with shoes when all was said and done! Overall, a great experience! Perhaps this is uniform to tailoring in general but why the extra charges, Moores? If a suit comes without a hem then I don't think you ought to charge someone to finish sewing it. At Moores the cost of basic hemming is $10 and in Mark's case there was an extra cost to extend the sleeves as well... seemed odd to me but other than that, this was a great suit shopping experience! We were impressed that the owner and others we met in the location were attentive, knew their business extremely well and offered advice to ensure the work would turn out well. Sana will put a rush on anything you need if necessary, though I have never needed anything quickly. She is capable and pleasant to deal with. Replacing a small zipper will run you around $8-10 and having some small alterations done will likely be around $10-$20. You can ask at the time if you're concerned about cost, though I have always found it to be very reasonable and much better than messing it up myself! You can also pay when you drop your items off or when you pick them up. There's a curtained off dressing room if you need to put on trousers before hemming or get advice on other alterations. Most of the dresses had very thin fabrics and it was obvious they were quickly and cheaply made factory style. Which is fine for some brides, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Other bridal shops had much better quality dresses that were in the $800 range then reduced to around $300.
