This was our second breakfast stop and the reason we choose it because we got a flyer for a free tart. (Btw the tart was strawberry and it was delicious!) My first thought when my Irish breakfast came on the table was that the plate was too little for the amount of food. So what my plate consisted of and my thoughts on the portion are as below: - one fried egg, very softly done (too soft for me - would have liked the whites cooked a wee bit more) - 2 small rounds of black pudding (delish!) - 2 small rounds of white pudding (not as good as the one I ate previously at the Yummy cafe) - lovely scoop of baked beans (these mixed with my egg, which I didn't like, to be honest) - 2 pretty decent size rashers of bacon (very salty for my palate) - half a pan-fried tomato (well- cooked) - small scoop of fried fresh mushrooms (nice, but too small in quantity) - I switched out the regular two slices of toasted white bread for the local cracked wheat bread (okay) - Medium sized glass of OJ (can also chose coffee and tea). Service was lovely, and they have free wifi and with a very cute password. However I'm not sure if I was a local if I would come back? For my tastes, I found my previous Irish breakfast experience at Yummy to be overall much better. This is not to say this is not bad, but I'm on the fence about it. The special of the day was homemade vegetable soup. I have discovered, in my travels throughout Ireland, that most soups are blended and smooth. This soup was full of flavor- no salt or pepper needed. My hubby had the ham & cheese on white bread. Delicious, with onion and tomato. There is a case full of ice cream as you enter. Next is a case of sweets and pastries. I didn't try either, but it looked amazing! It was about noon, and it was fairly busy. Large wooden booths with pillows for seating, and tables in the back. Thanks for a memorable lunch in Trá Lí.

My partner and I stopped in here while spending the day in Tralee. We were tired after walking all…read moremorning and needed a rest and a drink. I got a decaf iced mocha and my partner got a hot chocolate and a cinnamon bun. The iced mocha was great and was the perfect temperature. It cooled me right off and was exactly what I needed. My partners hot chocolate was hot and rich. The cinnamon bun was gooey and delicious and hit the spot perfectly. The employees were friendly and chatted with us about where we are from (Oregon) and what we were doing in Tralee of all places. Our drinks were ready quickly and we sat inside to enjoy them. If it was a little cooler out I think the windows would have been open but since it was so warm they were closed which meant there were flies hovering around everywhere. They didn't seem interested in people or food, they just wanted to hover in the air. This was a perfect spot to relax after an exhausting morning. I would go back if I had the chance!

Just a typical coffee shop in the centre of Tralee. We had a long connection between two buses, and…read moreso set out to find a café in the area. The three independent places we went to were all closed, so I'm grateful that Costa was open. The café has plenty of seats, spread across two levels inside, and also has some tables outside as well. We sat on a comfortable sofa near the window. I enjoyed my americano, whilst my friend just had a tea. Prices were reasonably expensive, but the coffee was good, the place was welcoming, and the wifi was free. Although the place lacks any unique atmosphere or character, it's fine for a quick coffee in a good location in Tralee.
