Initially the waitress was attentive, she gave us waters and silverware. Soon she became distracted talking to the group about traveling destinations and her upcoming trip to Hawaii. This was not a big deal until we waited 30 minutes to place our order and she still never came back to our table or even acknowledged we were there. We watched this waitress engage in a lively conversation even kneeling down by a customer and looking at pictures on his phone. What??? Are you working or socializing? We left without placing an order. Being ignored for that long even in plain sight of the server is unacceptable. This was a very disappointing experience and we won't be back.

It is family owned, and the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and very fun. We've spent a lot here over the years and have always supported and recommended this location. That's why my son's recent experience was so disappointing. He stopped in to get some work done, something he's done many times during slow hours. Sometimes he buys something, sometimes he doesn't, and it has never been an issue. This has always been a welcoming place. This time, a staff member told him he couldn't sit and work unless he purchased something. What made it worse was the explanation: a table of eight older gentlemen "didn't like" that he was sitting there working, and that was the reason he needed to leave or buy something. It wasn't busy, it wasn't about space, and it wasn't about a policy. It was simply another group of customers not liking his presence, and the staff acting on that. After years of loyalty, that was incredibly disappointing. If there's a new policy, that's fine, just communicate it clearly and apply it consistently. Asking a long‑time customer to leave because another table "didn't like" them is not acceptable. This experience genuinely made us rethink continuing to support this location.
