We went on karaoke night and had the best time. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the waitresses and it continued to get better from there. I've never been so from the outside, I thought this place was going to be small. It was not. If you love to take pictures while having a good time, there is no shortage on what and where you can take it. We had reserved a table for 15 and they accommodated as very well. I got the Happy Hour meal which were the wings. They were very good as well. If you're going to participate with karaoke, I suggest you get on that list quick. I loved the atmosphere, we set between the pool table and the where the DJ was. If you want to enjoy yourself with friends and family you can. Kids are welcome up until a certain time, I believe it was 9:30. Being from KY, I even saw a representation from home. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT DIVE! It is a piece of crap in a run down shack and the food and services were the worst I've ever experienced. It took 25 minutes to get a drink (and it was watered down) and the St. Paddy's day meal (3/2026) was a mushy spud and the toughest corned beef I've ever had in my life. The place is dirty and the floors and step-ups are very scary. There was only one server available and she did the best she could but they needed four more servers. If I only had one sentence to review Roman's Oasis it would be as a dive bar with sassy bartenders and great food. Walking in you'll see this is truly a dive bar but looking around there is a dance floor, a dining area, as well as the traditional dive bar area. The decor is somewhat mismatch, but it fits the tone of the establishment. Honestly if the food sucked, it would be worth coming here just to have a cheap drink and the fun attitude of the bartenders. Wow! We came from out of town thinking dive food and service but we were pleasantly surprised with above and beyond service and the best food we've had in days! Everyone left there like "did we just eat that" it was delicious! My turkey melt with green chilies was seriously amazing! They have stiff drinks and a great selection of N/A beer! Well done! I have always had amazing experiences at Romans I remember being younger and always passing by just thinking it was some random bar until I turned 21 and actually went in and found a place that I feel comfortable in just to go and have a few drinks and dance and enjoy myself. You always typically see the same bartenders, which is great with an amazing feeling to see a familiar face and then the one day I decide I'm gonna eat here. I was so surprised to find out how good their food was truly amazing some of the best burgers I've had. I would even get the shrimp again. The waffle fries are amazing. read more

They do get a little busy sometimes which is great for the bar making money. The ambience was great. They had a live band going, which was totally awesome. The music was phenomenal. Went to Roman's for the first time for lunch on a Saturday. The owner (Roman's daughter) stopped by our table and chatted with us and told us about the history of the spot, which was interesting to hear. It is a local haunt that has been around for decades and is hopefully here to stay. I ordered the Dynamite with fries and my lunch mate ordered the Southwest burger with waffle fries and we were very happy with both. The dynamite had some kick but if you're used to spicy food it is the perfect amount! The waffle fries were also delicious. Our meals were definitely a step up from regular bar food. The atmosphere was fun and divey. We can't wait to return for country dancing some night in the future! read more

The best dive/fun bar/restaurant! From the outside, I can see why people would just pass by. Inside there four large rooms, table games, off site horse racing, 2, maybe 3, full bars and great live bands with plenty of room on the dance floor. The restrooms are also very clean. My go to is the delectable Patty Melt, upgrade to tater tots! The mango riblets and coconut shrimps on the appetizer menu are plenty enough for lunch. I have driven by this location a hundred times and final had the chance to stop. This location only takes CASH. There are signs but I still wish we would have known before we went in. Yes they have atm machienes but they charge $3 fees. So just a heads up. We walked in and were a bit confused by the layout. There is several different areas-cowboy line dancing, a dj, pool, and shuffleboard to name a few. We came in during happy hour and were able to get a delicious margarita and an 805. Then we moved tables because there was a large party going on. The waitress was totally accomodating with us. She explained how everything worked and what to try off the menu. For sure order the wings! They were the best yet on the west side of the valley. Seriously delicious! We tried a mexican candy shot which was delicious and a cinamon toast shot which hit the spot too. "DON'T PLACE BETS HERE UNLESS YOU DON'T WANT TO BE PAID" This review is only applicable to the off track betting. Stopped in to place a bet on Kentucky derby day. I was lucky enough to win with Sovereignty. Came back the following Wednesday (they are closed Monday and Tuesday), 5/7, to cash my ticket. Rich, the supervisor, says "oh! This is too much. I don't have enough money. You have to come back Saturday after I go to the bank on Friday." I came back on Saturday, 5/10, afternoon. Rich uses the same line on me again, "oh! I don't have enough money. I didn't go to the bank. You have to come back Wednesday, 5/14. I will go to the bank and you have my word that I will pay you." Good news! I just came back from there today, 5/14 and finally got paid, but with a reaction. I come in, give Rich my ticket, he shakes his head and started with oh this is too much (same line from the other 2 times), then he looks up at me and catches himself. He says "oh! I did promise you that I would pay you today." I said "you did!" He said "give me a minute I have to get the money." The bet was $50 to win $499. This is a cash business!! How is it that you don't have enough cash to payout on any given day? You have plenty of cash, when you take in all the bets!! It appears that Rich runs a very scammy business. When my daughter wanted to plan a surprise birthday party for her husband's 40th, she asked his friends where to have it. The overwhelming response was Roman's! My SIL & his friends have going there for years. I was surprised to find out that the restaurant is actually a 100 years old! The restaurant was very helpful in helping my daughter set up and arrange for this party. They blocked off the back room and let her come in beforehand and bring decorations They let us bring a cake in as well. They were just overall very accommodating, which was very appreciated for such a large group . The actual restaurant/bar has a Country Western vibe to it, complete with Country Western dancing. Children are allowed in until 9:30p at night which made it easy for us to all bring our little ones for at least awhile. The food and drinks were really good and fairly priced . THE RESTAURANT IS CASH ONLY, but this doesn't seem to affect business, as it was packed with people ( in addition to our group) My son- in-law was born in Phoenix and this was a perfect place to have his 40th birthday party because he & his friends have literally grown up going there. Made a stop by here this afternoon and by the looks of the outside it is a lot bigger inside then you would think , when we got there it was not busy at all so just grabbed a seat near everyone that was betting on horse races and that was a show in itself definitely a good time listening to everyone rooting for there horses. They have several different spaces to sit and relax . Now onto the food We started with the fried pickles and fries which were absolutely great as well as some extra crispy wings which were amazing, I ended up trying the big bubba sandwich which was a big sandwich and very good , I also added the onion rings which were cooked to perfection definitely a place I'll be heading back to can't wait to try something new. read more

Love this bar!! All the bartenders are awesome, karaoke is great, and the line dancing is so fun!! There are three bars packed into one, you have an area with games and jukebox, an area with a DJ, or karaoke and dancing, and an area with live band and line dancing!! They have dart boards, shuffleboard, pool tables, and gambling (pull tabs and horse betting). I have had the food a couple times, and it has been delicious. The place was packed (no masks, no social distancing - no trace of the last 14 months) but we were able to get a table in the corner. Everyone working was very helpful/friendly and there are a million entertainment options here: Darts, Karaoke, dancing, pool. Fun crowd of all ages and race and I can only speak about their ice water (non drinker here) but it was pretty great! We didn't eat but the food looked decent and plenty were ordering. Not what I preferred. ordered calamari dish and meatloaf dish, food was very good and presented nicely for a bar and grill! the garlic bread would have been perfect but so much salt I and friend had to scrape it off to eat it. for the amount of patrons in the place, service was slow but people were nice!
