I left the night with a relieved smile, not ever expecting that I'd be going through this later. As a former bartender and server of 18+ years, I do not take customer service lightly at all. I can definitely understand that transaction mistakes can happen--we're only human, but at least have the decency to own up to your mistake and make it right. Have enough care to at the very least, respond to a guest's concern. Don't, instead, try to pass off someone else's items onto another person. That's just unethical and wrong.
