So I'm not someone who easily or has the time to write reviews, but I wrote a review when I first met Amy some 5-8 years ago, and feel compelled to write another because she's so damn good and the studio is so damn cute and comfortable. First, if you are looking for an amazing spray tan that will last almost two weeks, this is your place. Second, or First, if you want someone, Amy, who makes you feel so comfortable (if you want to go commando ladies, she's like seeing a doctor, seen everything!). She is one of the most lovely, engaging people I've ever met. Now lets talk about how cute the studio is. Burbank is known for being good to the SBO, and she has created the cutest, fun, space on Magnolia. She has also partnered with someone who does waxing and brow/lash tinting so you can get full services here in this unbelievably cute fun environment. Oh, did I mention how good Amy is! I originally found her based on a Yelp review years ago, she was working for another owner, and couldn't have been more happier when she was able to take it over and strike out with her own business! one word... AMAZING! I have been a "sunless tanner" for years, mostly the at home stuff. My favorite at home sunless tanner recently changed their "formula" and I have been scrambling trying to find another that I liked with no luck. I had always wanted to try airbrush tanning, but just figured that it was too expensive for me to make it a habit. I looked around and found Amy at the The Spray Studio. The price for one tan is $40, but she gives a first time client a break at $30, so I decided to give it a try and see if it was all that it was cracked up to be. It was and MORE! Love my tan, way darker and more even than I can get on my own! Lasted really well too! I am now a regular customer and don't see an end in sight. I love the fact that she sets up appts via text too (which is super easy for me) and the salon is so cute, clean and local for me! The other great thing is that she has a package deal that makes me feel that it's okay for me to do this every week and keep the glow going! 10 tans for $230... that's $23 a week for me to feel great! Amy really knows her onions. I hadn't had a spray tan for over a decade but I recently chose a dress to wear to a wedding that was exposing all my winter whiteness and so I wanted a teensy bit of colour to help me feel more comfortable. Amy really listens to what you want and advises you on the best tone, prep, and after care. I was terrified of glowing as orange as my dress but she found just the right balance. The Spray Studio was my first experience with a spray tan. Amy was recommended to me by my aesthetician. She was easy to get a hold of and responded back very quickly to all of my txts prior to setting the appointment. I had done about 4 tanning sessions in a UV bed to try to establish a base tan the week of - before I went, because I was nervous about looking orange but I honestly just had a nice bronze glow and really loved the results. I also didn't experience any streakiness with the color which I was happy about. She works really quickly and the studio is really clean and cute! I was so nervous about getting a spray tan! I was going to Vegas and I wanted to glow. I used to use tanning beds but considering the damage it can do to your skin, I thought I would give spray tanning a try. I was referred to Amy by a friend and let me tell you how happy I was. The space is so cute. Amy is amazing and quick at what she does. The color looks natural, and everything you need is provided for you (i.e. hair nets, makeup remover, baby wipes, q-tips etc.) It is certainly worth the money. read more
