Attention fellow fatties!! Seriously, Amy. She's such an airbrush tanning rockstar. I looked FANTASTIC in all my Vegas pics. I asked for a little extra/darker on the back of my legs, not a problem. The tan was all even, nice and dark, perfection. Her prices are great, her personality is fun and makes you feel totally comfortable. I'm definitely not a skinny LA model. I'm a thick and short size 10-12, so standing pasty and lumpy in front of a stranger hosing your body down is a little unnerving. Amy isn't at all judgmental, and just gets to work. Amy did an A-MAZING job on my first spray tan. She was extremely helpful by allowing me to text her to set up an appointment, and gave me a discount since it was my first tan, which was entirely unnecessary and very sweet of her to do. I am currently in Seattle and thus very pale, and she worked with me to find a color for my wedding that was natural and wouldn't make me look orange. I got the tan on Wednesday morning with the event on Saturday. She used the lightest of the light for shading you can use, and fortunately it was spectacular. I received the 8-10 hour basic spray tan, and that worked best for me since there were no time constraints for showering after 8-10 hours. She walked me through this process and taught me the do's and dont's for keeping my tan alive. It lasted 9 days through my honeymoon and slowly started to come off. YOU GUYSSSSS I don't even know where to begin. First off, I am A WHITE (BORDERLINE CLEAR) GAL and having a tan was never an attainable goal for me. And I tried everything. The sun burnt me to a lobster. The tanning beds did the same. The fake-tan rub on lotion made me stinky and oddly glittery(?)... It was all just terrible. and somewhat embarrassing. but mostly terrible. I went to Amy, and she was the opposite of terrible. In fact, I've now been going to her for three years and I've only experienced perfection. Look, this review is for people who are skeptical of spray tans. If you have an olive skin tone, you're fine - you will not look orange and yes, do this if you have an event coming up that you want to bare some skin at. - Amy is quick at responding to an appointment request. - She's easy to be almost naked in front of - she'll chat about whatever you want to. - Bring loose clothing to wear when you leave. - You will see an instant difference in color. You will also be sticky and you can't shower for at least 8 hours, so do this at night time. - When you wake up in the AM you are going to absolutely freak out at how dark/orange you are. Relax, this is a finishing bronzer that washes off... no need to clear your schedule. - You should exfoliate and shave before you go... however, you can shave your legs without losing the color. I did 36 hours after the tan and the color stayed. - Moisturize after your showers. I've had the tan for 6 days and its slowly fading... Amy recommended that I do the first spray 2 days in advanced of the event. I agree with that. Its a fast and skin friendly way to get rid of your winter doldrums - I would totally recommend it and I would absolutely recommend Amy. read more

She makes you feel so comfortable, making conversation the entire time and making you forget a stranger is standing 6 inches in front of your naked vagina. Amy is a spray tan goddess! I do not tan well naturally, I get red and then tan is gone, so I've rely on spray tans to give me that sun kissed look for all special occasions. I've been to many spray tan establishments in LA (West LA and Valley) and none come close to The Spray Studio. The product used in other places dry out my skin which makes the spray tan look and feel horrible. I have sensitive skin and on several occasions I had to wash off the spray due to an allergic reaction. They also do not stay longer than 4 days, bummer. I am totally freaked out by the spray booths, and I know I'll end up missing a pose or two and only spraying the side of my body and both my palms, so I will only go to custom spray tan places.
