Double covered, topped and sent straight from the breakfast gods. My meal was cooked just the way I ordered them--the first time. I even saw the cook smile, and I'm 99% sure that's a sign of the apocalypse. Now, the real MVPs were the staff. Friendly, fast, and full of personality. My coffee cup stayed full like they were getting graded on it. I blinked and BOOM--refill. I coughed once and someone offered me hot tea. Southern hospitality was in full effect. And here's the kicker: no fights. Not in the booths, not in the kitchen, not even in the parking lot. I almost felt robbed--like I didn't get the full Waffle House experience. But hey, I'll trade flying fists for crispy bacon any day.
