The only other complaint we've ever made about this place was about seeing flies on some of the food. Which wasn't a big deal they fixed it and took it right away. Other than that, we've normally had good experiences here. However, tonight's experience was completely different, and I feel like people should be aware of what happened. We waited about 20 minutes for a manager to come speak with us. We also waited probably another 5-10 minutes for us to get our waitresses attention so we could tell her about the food to even speak with the manager. When he finally came over, he seemed like he didn't even want to deal with the situation, even though I was on crutches. He told the waiter to have us come to him. Then we asked him to come over because of me being on crutches. We explained that there were several issues with the food. Almost everything we got was cold and did not seem to be kept at a safe or appropriate temperature. The meat was very chewy and hard, the macaroni and cheese tasted stale like it had been sitting out for hours, the pizza was hard, and the sushi was warm with very hard rice. On top of that, we found a hair in our daughter's food. After we told the waitress about it, they finally started putting out some fresh food. The service was also disappointing. We waited quite a while just to get a high chair for our daughter while the waitresses were on their phones and talking. They were right across from us at a booth. When we brought our concerns to the manager, instead of trying to resolve the situation, he was rude and had an attitude with us. We asked for a refund because we were barely able to eat anything. Even my five-year-old son said the food was nasty. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, we were told that we shouldn't come back. by the time we started to talk to him we were getting very frustrated as you could see in the video. I normally would never make a post like this, but this was extremely disappointing, especially considering this is one of the buffets here in Moultrie. There were multiple concerns involving the food, cleanliness, service, and what appeared to be food-temperature issues. I honestly feel that a health inspector should come check the establishment to make sure proper food-safety and food-handling standards are being followed. People should be able to feel comfortable bringing their families, especially their children, to eat somewhere without having concerns about the food being fresh, properly handled, and safe. Unfortunately the waitress took our plates before I could get any pictures. We came in expecting to have a good meal like we normally do, and unfortunately, tonight was anything but that. Thankfully they did give us our money back but we will not be back!!!!

From what I can tell, many people do not enjoy most of what Hibachi has to offer. But in Columbus, buffets are very limited usually, and this is by far the biggest and best buffet. I have never gotten sick from this buffet and usually only eat a few foods I know I enjoy. Although I understand others saying specific foods are bad, this buffet is more like you go here for specific items. For me, it's the sushi. Sushi is crazy expensive in Columbus, and for 20 bucks you can get all you can eat here. They have a pretty good variety; it always tastes fresh, and they rotate flavors every so often. For my main course, besides sushi, I love their chicken and broccoli. Most places in town do not get the right flavor for the sauce to pair well. This is one of the only 2 that do it right. As much as I may not eat most of their stuff, I love what I do have. The staff is also always very fast and kind anytime I am there. It always looks clean and kept together. This really is one of my favorite buffets. As a recommendation, expand your dessert menu!
