This place specializes in Charcuterie, meats, cheeses, wine, etc. But we were simply on the hunt for the best steak in Albany. Our server Hannah, was excellent! I hope she's there when I go back. She, and the rest of the staff were all perfect; a breath of fresh air in this customer service drought of a town. But not anything I'd just HAVE to order again. My husband got a Medium Well Ribeye, collards, and creamed potatoes. He said the steak was a HIT:tender and flavorful. No complaints. He enjoyed the collards, and potatoes, as well. I had Lemon Herb half Chicken, Broccoli, and Creamed potatoes. The chicken, and lemon sauce were AMAZING! The chicken seemed brined, baked low and slow, so good. The broccoli tasted steamed and seasoned nicely. I'm not a fan of the potatoes. While they had great flavor, even without the lemon sauce; it was the texture. They were too loose. I prefer a thicker creamed/mashed potato. This establishment gets five stars, because customer service was exceptional, they go out of their way to give you a fine dining experience, and the food was overall fantastic!
