We went here a couple of times this past weekend. We were in Tempe for a soccer tournament and we could walk here from our hotel. My daughter loves spaghetti when she is playing a tournament so we came here a couple of times. The crew was nice and friendly. As to the food, eh, it was OK. The pasta itself was decent, but tasted like re-heated boxed "Safeway" brand. The sauce was OK, but not much of it, we added jarred sauce and heated it up. *Update. My honest review below stands, but I'd like to thank the Spaghetti Shack for reaching out in response to reading my review. I declined the full refund offer. I can fully appreciate the struggles of a start up and wish them well. We discussed the frustration of not being able to reach anyone and not having my message returned as well as the Facebook Messenger failing. They are looking into how to improve and want to make things right for all of their current and future guests. I promised to give them another chance in the near future, but as a full-paying customer; no compensation involved. Terrible impression. Visited the Queen Creek location after reading hyped press release. My experience was they don't care about customer service or food quality. No return of my phone message (ya...they don't answer the phone, you get to leave a message); Facebook page had a "message us" that was disabled. My order took 20 minutes longer than stated, shorted me an add-on item and quality of that same item was the equivalent to ordering a birthday cake with frosting and getting a cupcake with the frosting scraped off. read more

This was our first time picking up from The Spaghetti Shack. When I walked in it did smell very good so I was optimistic. We ordered the Mid Shack with 4 meatballs and an extra order of Garlic Bread. While everything was very tasty, I was a little thrown off by some of the portions. With a bucket of pasta and 4 meatballs we were expecting a nice amount of sauce to cover and dip, unfortunately we had barely any sauce, really just what was stuck to the meatballs. Which was disappointing considering the pictures. Nice little place. The staff members were very nice. I was here for a fundraiser for our high school football team. Our team isn't even that close but they've provided meals to the team and seem to be very involved in our community. I spent an extra $3 to try their spaghetti taco since it's taco Tuesday. My expectations were low but it was actually really good. It was spaghetti, mozzarella and a cut up meatball in a large taco shell. I would order it again. Awesome to see another place open with the the Spaghetti in a bucket concept. Great price for feeding a whole family. I'm loving the sauce here. More flavorful and not too heavy on the tomato. They had the perfect spaghetti to sauce ratio. The meatballs were big and delicious at a great price. Better to order two per person than one in my world. The meal is so simple, it's an easy restaurant to go to! The menu is really small (which is a good thing); you basically order the meal based on how much food you'll want/how many people you're splitting it with. The meatballs are a decent size, and two was definitely enough to make me full. If you go on Mondays, they have a buy one get one free meatball deal. Came here for the first time and it was not what I thought it was going to be. I thought it would be like the pasta you get from the mall at the food court, but it wasn't close. It tastes like home cooked pasta. Their garlic bread... omg! My favorite part. I got two meatballs, but I should have listened to the reviews and gotten more. They were soooo good. I ordered the pound just for me because I wanted some leftovers to take to work. I actually ate a big portion at home and was able to divide it into 2 other containers. Found this place through a barter network. I was very pleased. Its take out only. Not so bad. It made for a great picnic to the park nearby. We tried most everything. The big shack is a sizeable amount of pasta. Thankfully they know well not to overcook the pasta. I really liked the sauce. The right amount of sweetness versus acidity versus thickness. I think I'm a bit of a meatball snob. Theirs are pretty impressive with great flavor, maybe not quite as tender as mom used to make. Mondays they are BOGO so that's an amazing value! After discovering this place the day I was filling up my water jugs at the water store nearby, I've been coming here at least 2 times a week and I love it. Simple menu, which I like: I constantly get the meatball sub and it's always been great. Was excited to try this place out since who doesn't love quick and easy take out pasta. The prices were great and the workers were super friendly! The portions are huge enough to save some for a snack afterwards. We ordered a bucket of pasta with 2 meatballs, a meatball sub and shack bread. Everything was delicious but the shack bread is a must!!! Being a take out place, I really appreciated all of the aluminum foil used when wrapping my food because it was still piping hot for me to dig in once I got home!
