I found this place on GrubHub last night when I was looking for a food fix. There was a picture of a meatball sub, so that's what I went with and WOW, am I glad I did!! The bread was fresh, the sauce was perfect and, oh my!......let's talk about those meatballs!!! So yeah, I'm certainly going to order from the Spaghetti Shack again, I recommend them to all as well. read more

So delicious! the meatballs are so delicious and seasoned! Thank you Joey for showing your love and support to your local teachers.

We went here a couple of times this past weekend. We were in Tempe for a soccer tournament and we could walk here from our hotel. My daughter loves spaghetti when she is playing a tournament so we came here a couple of times. The crew was nice and friendly. Small place so seating is very limited but great place for a bowl of spaghetti. read more

Purchased a large "bucket" of pasta, along with 8 meatballs. Service was fast and friendly, clean place, pretty basic. Maybe 10 minutes after ordering I was happily motoring down the road. As to the food, eh, it was OK. The pasta itself was decent, but tasted like re-heated boxed "Safeway" brand. The sauce was OK, but not much of it, we added jarred sauce and heated it up. Meatballs were pretty good, nothing to write home to Mom about. They were not as good as indicated in the various reviews. Just took a bite of the raspberry cheesecake. Eh, fairly decent, standard stuff from the grocery store. All in.... Well.... I'd rather make my own, freeze most, and re-heat it. Not a bad concept here, but it just did not do it for me. read more

Sometimes at work I order through Uber eats for convenience. I figured I'd try something new this time. I ordered the shack bread with smashed meatball. Loved the convenience of getting spaghetti along with the garlic bread I always look forward to. read more

The Spaghetti Shack - Oops. Half eaten, but got a pic before finishing! Still warm after an Uber eats delivery. - Italian Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

Best meatball subs!! Make sure to "herb it up". As soon as you walk in you're greeted with the most AMAZING smell!! Staff is friendly and pricing is decent. You do need to order ahead. I used DoorDash. A must go place in south Tempe. read more

*Update. My honest review below stands, but I'd like to thank the Spaghetti Shack for reaching out in response to reading my review. I declined the full refund offer. I can fully appreciate the struggles of a start up and wish them well. We discussed the frustration of not being able to reach anyone and not having my message returned as well as the Facebook Messenger failing. They are looking into how to improve and want to make things right for all of their current and future guests. I promised to give them another chance in the near future, but as a full-paying customer; no compensation involved. Terrible impression. Visited the Queen Creek location after reading hyped press release. My experience was they don't care about customer service or food quality. No return of my phone message (ya...they don't answer the phone, you get to leave a message); Facebook page had a "message us" that was disabled. My order took 20 minutes longer than stated, shorted me an add-on item and quality of that same item was the equivalent to ordering a birthday cake with frosting and getting a cupcake with the frosting scraped off. read more

The Spaghetti Shack - The advertised Shack bread - Italian Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

This was our first time picking up from The Spaghetti Shack. When I walked in it did smell very good so I was optimistic. We ordered the Mid Shack with 4 meatballs and an extra order of Garlic Bread. While everything was very tasty, I was a little thrown off by some of the portions. With a bucket of pasta and 4 meatballs we were expecting a nice amount of sauce to cover and dip, unfortunately we had barely any sauce, really just what was stuck to the meatballs. Which was disappointing considering the pictures. With the affordable price and being overall pretty tasty we would try it again, but will probably ask for more sauce. 5 stars because everything was delicious. read more

I found these guys on postmates and my roommate and i have ordered from them once a week since. the meatball sub is to die for, and it's always ready so fast. We got this in our order tonight, and will definitely be getting delivery from the directly from now on. read more

Awesome to see another place open with the the Spaghetti in a bucket concept. Great price for feeding a whole family. I'm loving the sauce here. More flavorful and not too heavy on the tomato. They had the perfect spaghetti to sauce ratio. The meatballs were big and delicious at a great price. Better to order two per person than one in my world. Lots of great energy by the crew here and you can feel the excitement by everyone waiting to help. Only take out here which is fine by me. read more

The meal is so simple, it's an easy restaurant to go to! The menu is really small (which is a good thing); you basically order the meal based on how much food you'll want/how many people you're splitting it with. The meatballs are a decent size, and two was definitely enough to make me full. If you go on Mondays, they have a buy one get one free meatball deal. I like the idea of a fast spaghetti place, but I'm not sure I'll come too often. read more

Nice little place. The staff members were very nice. I was here for a fundraiser for our high school football team. Our team isn't even that close but they've provided meals to the team and seem to be very involved in our community. I spent an extra $3 to try their spaghetti taco since it's taco Tuesday. My expectations were low but it was actually really good. It was spaghetti, mozzarella and a cut up meatball in a large taco shell. I would order it again. Thanks for supporting schools in the Valley! read more

If you have a super picky eater in the family it can make trying new places difficult. But we ordered from The Spaghetti Shack for the first time for a school fundraiser and everyone in the family absolutely loved it and had multiple servings. The sauce was amazing! The meatballs were phenomenal! And the service was super friendly and fast. If you want something that you know everyone will enjoy, this is the place for you! read more

I have to honest I didn't know this was take out only so I was disappointed But I was having a bad day and it smelled so good when we walked in we decided to take it to the park Manager was very friendly and helpful The cook even came out all smiles to say thank you which was nice But the bottom line was the food is incredible I generally don't like pork and I think this might be a mix beef pork. The meatballs rock I changed my attitude about mixed meatballs The saucer was taste The garlic bread hit it out of the park For me when you keep it simple and have great fresh food that's the major league Love this place. Wish they had a few tables I can't remember the last time Tempe got a new restaurant that I loved so give these guys a try read more

This was super tasty and a great value. I over order with a big ass bucket of pasta so I have the leftovers.

Came here for the first time and it was not what I thought it was going to be. I thought it would be like the pasta you get from the mall at the food court, but it wasn't close. It tastes like home cooked pasta. Their garlic bread... omg! My favorite part. I got two meatballs, but I should have listened to the reviews and gotten more. They were soooo good. I ordered the pound just for me because I wanted some leftovers to take to work. I actually ate a big portion at home and was able to divide it into 2 other containers. For me, the pound would feed me 3 times, and for that price... I will be coming back! read more

Great sub. Nice staff. The moon was big and my tummy was empty. It was meant to be. Got a coupon too.

Food was not appetizing at all. Service was good but it tasted like frozen food and not homemade.

This place is awesome! Great prices, generous portions and love the garlic loafs. GQC read more

We love The Spaghetti Shack! Feeding a family of 5 is exhausting and expensive Spaghetti Shack is definitely our Friday night go-to. It's affordable and portion sizes are big. We love the simplicity of the menu because I don't have to think that hard about what to order and taste is always spot on. Our fav is the meatballs. The kids fight over them. The service is always great despite how busy it always seems to be when we pick up. If you are looking for easy good dinner I highly recommend. read more

Found this place through a barter network. I was very pleased. Its take out only. Not so bad. It made for a great picnic to the park nearby. We tried most everything. The big shack is a sizeable amount of pasta. Thankfully they know well not to overcook the pasta. I really liked the sauce. The right amount of sweetness versus acidity versus thickness. I think I'm a bit of a meatball snob. Theirs are pretty impressive with great flavor, maybe not quite as tender as mom used to make. Mondays they are BOGO so that's an amazing value! The subs they make with these meatballs are massive. 3 large meatballs on them makes for a decent meal. Joe, the owner I presume, was very friendly and welcoming. I will most definitely be back. read more

Solid meatball hoagie. The bun was soft but just OK in terms of flavor but the meatballs, sauce and cheese were fantastic. I kicked it up with a little red pepper and parmesan cheese. Friendly and quick service. Definitely will be a repeat customer. read more

Absolutely terrible. I've never had such wretched pasta in my life. It tasted as if it were severely over cooked, stored for weeks, and reheated multiple times. I'd hoped it was going to be great because this place is close to home and budget friendly. How can you screw up pasta? read more

It's good, not the best. Somewhat bland, but works in a pinch. Moderately over priced, but not too much. I definitely went a few times, never regretted my decision. If you want something quick to grab on the way home that feels like a home-cooked meal, this is it. read more

the Spaghetti Shack is always a treat and the consistency they continue to provide with taste and portion is above all and sets the bar high. continue the great plates and folks will abide to enjoy the feast read more

Wasn't greeted with a smile. When I placed phone order, she wasn't friendly either. Yea this pasta by the bucket is nice and convenient but the sauce needs a LOT of work and over priced when I can make these sandwiches for a fraction of the price at home. Meatball sub was good but not worth $15 dollars. Needs work, would possibly try again if they create a better experience for customers. Price and quality of food read more

The Spaghetti Shack catered two events for me in two days and knocked both out of the park! With over 140 guests between the 2, everyone enjoyed the spaghetti, giant bread sides, the salad was huge and mostly the Meatballs! I had one teacher reach out and say she can't stop thinking of the delicious meatballs lol. Thank you for your professionalism and delicious food! read more

They catered an event I went to today (yesterday) for lunch. I only had 1 meatball, a few bites of pasta, and a few bites of garlic bread. It is now midnight and I have been throwing up since 5pm. I'm assuming it was just a bad day, but even the thought of eating from here again makes my stomach turn. read more

We ordered the meal for 2 along with a side of meatballs. There wasn't enough sauce for the noodles and the side of meatballs was 1 meatball. The sauce had larger tomatoes than jarred sauce but tastes just like jarred sauce with no spicing to it. Will not go again. read more

After discovering this place the day I was filling up my water jugs at the water store nearby, I've been coming here at least 2 times a week and I love it. Simple menu, which I like: I constantly get the meatball sub and it's always been great. I recently got an order of the "small shack" which is the small spaghetti and it was delicious and lots of food for the price! The owner is a cool guy too and it's nice to support his business. The employees I've interacted with have all been great. I'd say Chris is the most friendly and goes the extra mile to provide great customer service. However that's not to say the other employees weren't friendly! read more

Huge portion of spaghetti but took a while to make! Spaghetti was so good, looked like a new spot but in a weird location!

Fast service and consistent quality of food. The staff is always pleasant and professional, ensuring that your order is correct and any needed extras (cutlery, packets, napkins) are included. The location is very clean and has a small area for waiting when picking up orders. read more

I had the midshack and it was tasty. But they forgot my extra meatball. It's all good though

Go try this place before they raise their prices as they goddamn well should for serving up such delicious effing spaghetti and meatballs. At $20 for two, I expected some overcooked pasta with bland sauce and frozen meatballs, but what we got was quality bowl of pasta and scrumptious meatballs at fast-food prices. Was delicious even as takeout. We've gone here two days in a row now and plan to be back. Don't tell anyone read more

Was excited to try this place out since who doesn't love quick and easy take out pasta. The prices were great and the workers were super friendly! The portions are huge enough to save some for a snack afterwards. We ordered a bucket of pasta with 2 meatballs, a meatball sub and shack bread. Everything was delicious but the shack bread is a must!!! Being a take out place, I really appreciated all of the aluminum foil used when wrapping my food because it was still piping hot for me to dig in once I got home! I will definitely be back soon, thanks for the delicious food The Spaghetti Shack!!! read more

My husband loves it but it does not offer beef sauce or beef meatballs for those like me who don't eat pork. I wish they did.

A hidden gem. Small mom & pop take out only restaurant that is recently opened. We tried the Spachetti and meatballs and let me say.."Delicious". Customer service was excellent, very clean and well priced. Definitely coming back for more. Highly recommended read more
