    Baked Spaghetti
    Edwin H.

The baked spaghetti was good, the meatball sub was way too sweet and the salad was huge. Kids under 12 eat for free on Saturdays and they all loved their food also.

Grilled Chicken salad... Chicken tasted fake..frozen and thawed. Speghetti and meat sauce in the background

First time here. Went for lunch. It was just okay. I did like the spaghetti was firm. The lasanga was stuff filled with cheese. I ordered the sampler. I didnt care for the alfredo. The garlic cheese bread was the high light. I had $5 off from restaurant.com. it all reminded me of Fazoli's. I had to add seasoning. Probably won't go back. But only because i can make a huge pot of spaghetti and home made meatballs for less than the $25 i paid for the meals.

Can't speak to the quality of the food. Not a single gluten free option. So we had to leave.

We just went to the Jeffersonville location with family. We had our reservations because of the last experience, but were willing to give it another try based on their recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised. The location is lovely with the view of the river, and the outdoor seating is a nice touch. This could definitely be a romantic spot for an evening dinner. We went in the afternoon and called ahead to make reservations for a party of 12, including children. They accommodated us just fine and were very gracious. The service was excellent, the wait staff had a polite, friendly manner, and kept everything flowing perfectly. We all enjoyed our food. One of the best dishes was the House Special, which was ordered with meatballs. The vodka sauce was tasty. I would say parking and handicap access would be the challenges that I observed. We utilized street parking. There were two small sets of stairs going up to the entrance.

As a previous reviewer mentioned - parking and handicap access are challenges the restaurant will need to address. Since we arrived for an early dinner - parking was not an issue for us . . . we utilized street parking right in front of the restaurant. There are two short sets of stairs to enter the restaurant itself - I did not see a ramp for handicap access. Once we entered the restaurant, we were given the choice of a small table downstairs or dining upstairs. We elected upstairs since the dining area downstairs (which is very small) was packed with a large group and only the small table was available. To reach the dining area upstairs you must climb a long staircase. I would recommend if you are challenged with stairs - make a reservation for the dining area on the first floor. Just remember you must climb a small set of stairs to get into the restaurant itself. Once we were seated, we did have to ask for the AC to be turned on - it was very stuffy. There were two of us - each ordering drinks, salads and entrees. Our waiter was excellent and handled the AC request, drinks refills, check-ins all superbly. The food was okay - not the quality I would anticipate for the price. The best description for the food would be bland - the amount of food is fine - it's just bland. The cost for two - $75 not including tip.

I was excited to choose from the options I saw online here, until I found out they had a limited menu. And when I say limited, there were literally four options for entrees. I get doing a limited menu but surely there can be more options. If you didn't want pizza or chicken dishes, then you were out of luck The service was below par. If they are going to charge a decent amount for food (bill was 67 for two people, with one beer) then I feel like the service should meet that. One of the servers that was not ours was loud and annoying during service. Our server mentioned to us that he was sorry for the service because they were busy, when half the tables in the place were open. I'd hate to see what a full place would have been like! I hate sounding negative on a local place but if you are going to charger higher end prices then the experience should also be a bit better. I feel like Martini's in Louisville (a similar cuisine I've visited recently) had cheaper prices than this place, and was a much better experience. Not sure if I'll be in a rush to be back here

We also ordered calamari with marinara sauce. The garlic knots were very good. The calamari not so much. I wouldn't order them again. I was the only one eating them and left some on the plate. Calamari tasted like they were frozen from a Swanson brand dinner. The marinara sauce was very good though. The Calamari needs to be divorced from the Marinara sauce. Jace and Cali ordered spaghetti and meatballs which they really liked. Wife and I ordered a lasagna which was large enough to share. The food is served with fresh basil as garnish. I trust wife and I will return. The kids took leftovers home. We appreciate the military discount too. In closing, everything was Super, with exception of Calamari. Do not order it. It set us back $15 and wasn't really edible. I do look forward to visiting again to try some other offerings and hopefully find a 5 star experience.

The pasta was properly cooked, the sauce was good, but not much better than a jar off the shelf. The veal, breaded & fried was overcooked - thus very chewy. I ordered a side Caesar salad. I chose baked spaghetti w/meatballs; lasagna & meat ravioli. The raviolis were inconsistent. Some were good, but most had dough that I found undercooked and "pasty". The lasagna was good, although buried under the same sauce as the spaghetti. Hard to tell where one dish ended and the other began. Honestly, the hit of the meal was the meatball. Absolutely delicious. A huge breakdown was the gluten free spaghetti & meatballs I ordered to bring home to my wife. The pasta was actually rigatoni. It was severely undercooked. And a $3.99 upcharge? I could buy an entire box of pasta for $3.99. And after specifically ordering gluten free pasta, the "To-go" dinner came with regular "garlic bread". Oops. Tucked away on Frankfort Avenue, it's a little off the beaten path, and parking can be an adventure. There's a small lot by the restaurant with overflow parking further down the hill. Somehow we managed to snag the only open space right outside the front door, which felt like winning a very specific Louisville lottery. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the place was already buzzing. It was packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. While our table was being bussed, three different employees checked to make sure we were being helped. We let them know we were just a little early and waiting on our table, but it spoke volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighbourhood pizza spot: relaxed, lively, and unpretentious. The soundtrack quietly floating through the speakers was a crate-digger's delight, full of songs that have been sampled throughout hip-hop history. Hearing Lynn Collins' Think (About It) while waiting for dinner felt particularly apt following the recent passing of Rob Base. The song's iconic break became the foundation of It Takes Two, one of hip-hop's most recognisable records, and it was a nice reminder of how deeply great music connects generations. To start, we ordered the Olives & Togarashi, a bowl of Castelvetrano olives coated in a wonderfully aromatic blend of spices with notes of fennel, sesame and citrus. My son tried his first olive and was genuinely shocked by the flavour. He'll come around eventually. For the main event, we ordered three large pizzas: the DOP Margherita, the Funghi and the Original Sting. The DOP Margherita showcases imported buffalo mozzarella from Campania alongside basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Funghi is loaded with an incredible blend of mushrooms, taleggio, pecorino cream and mozzarella. The Original Sting combines soppressata, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and spicy local honey in a sweet-and-savoury combination that completely works. Now, let's talk about the crust. It is perfect. Pillowy and light, yet substantial enough to give you that satisfying chew. The wood-fired oven creates just the right amount of charred bubbling around the edges. Our server offered house-made ranch and other dipping sauces for the crust, but we politely declined. This pizza doesn't need any enhancers. The balance of flavours across all three pies was exceptional. I've eaten pizza all over the world, and Pizza Lupo belongs in that conversation. It really is that good. We had a plan: sample all three pizzas and leave just enough room to split the tiramisu. Thankfully, we stuck to it. The tiramisu was fresh, light and beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet, nicely moist, with just enough espresso flavour coming through. It was the perfect finish to an outstanding meal. The service was fast without feeling rushed, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuine throughout the evening. We left full, not bloated, and happy as spring lambs, already talking about what we'd order next time. We'll defo be back. Cheers, Sam
