The Four Seasons Spa was the second spa I visited. I want to start off by saying this hotel and spa is absolutely stunning. The staff and customer service is incredible! When I arrived I was directed to the spa which is on the 9th floor. It was beautiful and clean. I then went to the change room where I was provided with a comfy robe and slippers and shown to the lounge where I would wait for my RMT. I booked a 1 hour aromatherapy massage ($230) and the coconut hair & scalp treatment and moisture melt foot treatment add ons ($25 each). However, there was a small scheduling issue and they offered me the add ons COMPLIMENTARY! That was so nice of them. My RMT, Istvan, was very attentive and he made me feel relaxed. The only facility that was open was the pool which I did not use. Everything else was closed due to covid. I think I will try the reviving foot therapy next. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful spa.

    Wonderful cozy changeroom

Top-notch spa all around. Been there twice (insurance covers massage hehe) and had wonderf experience each time. Although the second time I got the bamboo massage and I dont think ill get it again cuz it's a bit painful hehe. But what makes this place is the ambiance and amenities. Beautiful pool room with jacuzzi, even more beautiful changeroom with lounge and steam room. In fact, I think the changeroom is what makes this place. Everything is top quality in there- the teas you can get, the biscottos, the shampoo and products, etc. I could spend a whole day alone there, just doin me. Excellent spa, truly world class!

Located in Yorkville in the four seasons hotel on the 9th floor. The spa is lovely. After checking in at the reception area, hubby and I were guided to our respective change rooms. Nice and clean with lockers, sofa area, tea, water and snack area (with vegan treats...yay!), washrooms, showers, make up counters, steam room, and a lounge area with reclined "beds" to wait for your treatment. My RMT came and got me and took me to the couple's massage room where hubby also arrived. We had a little info from the RMTs then received a 90 minute couple's bamboo massage. It was quite nice and ended with a nice ginger drink, maple candy and mini cupcakes (that hubby ate as they were not gf). We stayed to use the hot tub, pool and loungers. It was a pretty big area but noisy as several families with children were enjoying to pool too (guests of the hotel). We then showered and changed in the change rooms. All toiletries, towels, combs, brushes and hair dryers were available. My only suggestion is there should be an "occupied" sign at the showers when in use. It was fairly easy to tell the glass door showers were in use, but not so for the curtained shower. Beautiful spa but ridiculously expensive. $325 for a 90 minute massage PLUS tax and tip

Hot tub covered In slime and black mould. Shocking and no one at the desk seemed surprised !

I used a Groupon for this for 60-min Aromatherapy + backscrub for $145. The Groupon was a great deal because it also came with a RMT receipt for $145, and they always have so many coupon codes going on! The Spa at Four Seasons is located on the 9th floor. Beautiful lighting in the hallways, but I find the reception area to be surprisingly cramped, with their product selection stashed very closeby. Check-in was very smooth and gracious, and our jackets were checked. I was then escorted inside the changerooms and shown to my locker, and after changing into my robe, I was given a short tour of the area. The steam room was still under construction at the time of my visit. The changerooms have different sized lockers, with the digital locking system, comes with slippers, a robe, some hangers and a towel, although there are towels everywhere. There is a large sitting/lounging area with tea, biscotti and plenty of magazines for you to relax in before/after treatment. The pool area also has lots of comfy seating all around, but is open to all hotel guests too, so there's not much of the "tranquil" environment. The hot tub is off to the side, and is not very large. There are showers off to the side of the pool to quickly rinse off. About 5 minutes before your treatment, you are asked to wait in a specific area with very cool "S" shaped lounge chairs, and to fill in a form. You are then picked up and guided to the room. I enjoyed my aromatherapy VERY much. I was provided a selection of oils called Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, and I was given a thorough description of my services and what to expect. I was asked for my problem areas. The massage itself was very good - perfect pressure, and had that zen-like ritualistic quality to it, including the ringing of a bell to start off the session. Afterwards, my therapist gave me some advice on how to relieve backpain on a daily basis, and gave me some chamomile tea. The shower area seems quite small - only 3 shower stalls, but they were huge! I loved the products provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream), all natural and wonderfully scented. My only gripe is there didn't seem like enough vanity areas, to dry hair/apply makeup, etc. Nor was there someone you could sit in from of the mirror. Overall, I would rate this right up there with Elmwood. I love Elmwood's natural lighting in the changerooms, but the RMT here was fantastic, and I loved the "ritual" of it. 4.5 star!

I booked their aromatherapy massage for 60 minutes here and felt so relaxed afterward. They let me choose from 4 different oils and their massage bed is heated too! Service was so professional and I also got access to their showers, steam room, pool and balcony. Check out their balcony for a great city view of Toronto!

So my sister came to visit me from Israel and I wanted to have some fun, relaxing and styling place ... I found this amazing deal at travelzoo that includes facial, massage and pedicure. Everything was just perfect !!! The only thing I have to say is that the place you seat at the pedicure is very very not comfortable ! But beside that everything was amazing.

Lobby. Spa is on the 9th floor.

Every interaction feels thoughtful and intentional they take the time to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure you're getting the most out of each session. One experience that really stood out: I was trying to book a session for a friend, and even though my credits technically didn't apply for guest bookings, the team stepped in and made it happen. That level of flexibility and customer care is rare, and it meant a lot. It also gave me the chance to introduce someone else to something that's had a real positive impact on my life. What stands out is that the facilities are state of the art. The Dead Sea salt pool even has massage water jets, and the water quality is tested several times a day. I'm so glad I was able to do two sessions here and honestly, I think about this place every day. The guides here are so special. The concept of other ship is contrast therapy: there is sauna, and cold plunge. But it's unlike any contrast therapy I've done. It's a 75 minute class where you go in and your swimsuit and it's coed. You take part in a version of Aufguss - a sauna where they break balls of ice infused with delicious essential oils. I took a Gacha class where you do lymphatic drainage and then I also took a heart opener class. They also have free flow where there's no guide. The cold plunge is really special - you get paired up but if the class is small you can go alone. I've cold plunged a lot, and this experience transformed me. I was able to stay really, really calm and have a euphoric experience. The guides also use a tuning fork after the cold plunge to get you to calm the nervous system. The shower and changing room is not ideal for anyone that wants to go about their day after the experience but other than that, I wish I lived in Toronto to do this daily. The staff is also super friendly. They gave me their signature incense for my first visit. I love, love this place.

The facility and it's staff, along with other participants, provides a safe and welcoming space for you to let go and look inward where you feel like a completely different person once you finish your session or class. I have always been interested to try Othership but was afraid to take the first step. I was able to try one of their guided classes recently as I received a free credit. I booked a deep stretch guided class around noon mid-week. Not knowing what to expect I went in with an open mind, allowing myself to explore and be curious about the experience, as well as try new things. Prior to the class, I probably was most anxious about the cold plunge part of the class. Upon entering Othership, you are greeted by staff where you are checked in. I did tell staff it was my first time there and they gave me a tour of the space. I was also given a wristband to wear, indicating that I was a first timer there - this is done so that it is easier for the instructor to identify the newcomers in the group, just in case we needed extra guidance or direction. Facility wise, Othership is a nice sanctuary in the city. The changerooms aren't terribly big but they do have private change rooms you can utilize. There are lockers you can store your belongings and shoes are not allowed in the sauna/cold plunge area. They provide you with 2 towels and there is tea as well as water (and cups) available. The bathrooms are at the very back past the cold plunge area. In regards to my class, we were able to settle in and the instructor explained the guided class and what we would be doing as we settled on the couches. She was aware that many of us were first timers in the class, knowing that we would be anxious about the cold plunge. She told us to embrace our own journey, with the understanding that everyone is starting at different places with different levels of experience. This pre-class talk was quite reassuring and I felt a sense of comfort sharing this experience with others, knowing that we were in this together. In the guided deep stretch class, we were first in the sauna for about 25-30 min where we did a series of breathwork and stretching, focusing on different parts of our body. The sauna was quite hot after a while and I was dripping sweat but the focus on the breath was a key factor in managing how I was feeling and the heat. After the sauna we were split into 2 groups where we did the cold plunge for 2 min (prior to the plunge you have to rinse off your body using the communal showers). I was so nervous about this part of the class but I was able to stay submerged for the whole 2 min. Having a focus on your breathwork was crucial. After the cold plunge we all gathered in the sauna again where we did several more breathworks and had a sharing portion to the class where we could talk about our experience if we wanted to. Last 15 min of class we were invited to do another cold plunge, stay in the sauna, or relax and drink tea/water. Overall, I had an amazing first experience at Othership. Will definitely return to try more guided classes in the future!
