Truly an unforgettable experience at Spa myBlend! We treated ourselves to the Floating on a Cloud Together experience, which consisted of a 90 minute couples massage and 30 minute private time in the spa room to lounge around, shower/bathe and enjoy the complementary bubbly. Note this experience must be booked over the phone. We were given all day access to their swimming pool, sauna, co-ed lounge and other spa facilities. From the moment we walked in to the Ritz hotel we were greeted warmly and guided towards the elevator at the back of the lobby which leads to the spa located on the fifth floor. After checking in for our appointment, we were given health forms to fill out. Shortly after, one of the spa staff led me to the ladies changing room and gave me a tour of the facilities, and introduced me to my RMT. She noticed my hair was down so she provided me a hair tie before I begun changing into the robe and slippers that were provided. Such detailed oriented service! We were led to our massage room, which was darkly lit. Both our RMTs asked us to pick out of one of the three essential oils for the massage. Then, the foot bath and massage ensued. So relaxing! After this, we were led to the heated massage tables for the full body massage. The temperature can be adjusted if you find it too warm and they are also happy to adjust the volume on the peaceful music playing in the background. Before I knew it, 90 minutes was up. It indeed felt like we were floating on a cloud together in the end. So peaceful and relaxed. Our RMTs brought us glasses of Prosecco and snacks. They advised us the bath takes too slow to draw and showers are ideal if we wanted to take it. I tested out the bath and the water did run too slow. Note if you shower they have the Clarins soap (which I think is different from the regular soap used in the showers in the change rooms). Anyway, we enjoyed our time hanging around after our massage on our own. It was a special experience! Once our appointment was complete, we chilled in the lounge, where they have complementary snacks and magazines for you to read. We brought our bathing suits so we went across to the swimming pool and jacuzzi (which requires an access card from the spa reception). From the jacuzzi you can get a view of the CN tower. We went back to the spa change rooms after to shower, but unfortunately there were no heated towels left in the men's changing room. After the shower there is an area for you to get ready in the washrooms or change room, with a Dyson hair dryer, hair comb, lotion, hair spray, deodorant and more. If you need a straightener or curling iron you can ask the staff. Perfect set up if you're looking to dress up after your spa date! Overall, I highly recommend the spa at the Ritz. It's priced high, but the value and quality of the service you receive makes up for it. Worth going at least once for the five star spa day experience. read more

I am a very positive person who has only given 5 star reviews and generous tips to unknown people, especially as a fellow business owner. For my husband's birthday, I was excited to take him from our home in NYC to Toronto. On our last day there, following so many great reviews online, I booked in advance your spa on 3/4/25. Every other part of our experience in Toronto was beyond exceptional! While the spa itself seemed great and we enjoyed our very expensive massages, I was following all of the spa rules, including bathing in the jacuzzi, sauna, and steamroom area with a bathing suit. After my bathing suit was wet, I used the same bathrobe in the co-ed area that everyone else was using to read with my husband. A woman who works there came up to the public area, where there were several other bathers, about 6 to 7, and spoke very indiscreetly that I had been getting complaints from a fellow spa member. She said it very loudly and aggressively and even though I never broke any spa rules and wasn't at the time of this encounter. I immediately was confused, and asked "wait, someone complained about me or my husband?" I was so confused because I was following the spa rules, and if she had looked at me, she would have seen that I was not naked nor breaking any rules. I started crying immediately out of horror. We had been there for less than 2 hours. I told the staff person we would leave immediately, because of how horrified I was by how I was being treated by her. The staff person said, "I'm sorry," but had taken the tattler's word as fact and did not ask me a single question. making it an extremely upsetting encounter for me. I left to go to the front desk with the person who helped us originally and seemed really nice. I was crying, which I don't usually do. I told her exactly what had happened, that I was following the spa rules and had been "shamed out of the space" pretty aggressively by the woman employee. I explained that it was my husband's birthday and there was nothing relaxing about this, and how much we had paid to be shamed and mistreated despite following every rule. You need to train your staff about privacy and how to handle these incidents. As a fellow clinic and business owner, and any time I have worked for other institutions, my main concern is people's satisfaction. I was crying harder than I have ever cried in public and her main concern was that I pay for the services. Again this reaction shocked me. We were on the street in the cold thereafter for the rest of the day for an inappropriate shaming accusation. The person at the front desk explained that her manager would call me that same day (and never did). I spent the next several calling the manager who never was able to call me back. I am filing a complaint with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. I was frankly shocked by this on every level. -- read more

I shall begin by mentioning that I adore the lounge at Spa myBlend. I've been coming over the past few years for a Birthday massage as it's conveniently located, spacious, and their lounge area has lavish lounge chairs and cushions where you can relax and order food or beverages. I enjoy the feeling of luxury on my special day. Unfortunately, that is where the luxury of the experience ended this year. This December I went for a joint manicure with my sister, and scheduled my massage afterwards with an hour buffer. It was my sister's first time to have a manicure, and so I thought it would be nice to have our manicures together, relax in the lounge for some food and a beverage before my annual Birthday massage. In fact, we had to upgrade our manicures to $105 each for a "Signature manicure" in order to use the lounge and facilities (which I thought was distasteful seeing as we're already paying a large amount). While the facilities and ambiance were nice, unfortunately the manicure was the worst quality I have ever had, full stop. I have had $20 manicures before, and so being at the Ritz, I expected an elevated level of sophistication. However, all my $20 superseded this one. The polish did not go near the edge of my nails, you could see where each layer started, the nail shapes were not consistent, my cuticles were not trimmed, and the nails on my right hand are noticeably longer than my left. With the dim lighting I could not tell how terrible it was until we entered the lounge. I felt quite awkward since I'm not someone that likes to send anything back, and I'm very grateful for the experiences I'm afforded. But my sister turned to me in horror when looking at my nails and helped me realize I should assert myself in this case. I spoke with reception who brought management over. Anna, the manager was lovely. She redid my nails, however there were still some issues with the length, since one hand had already been cut way too short, and the paint layers - you could still visibly see the edge of each layer. However, it was now past one hour into my buffer time and so I had to run to my massage late. Not only did I not have time to spend with my sister in between, but when she ordered food, they made her pay right away instead of when we leave because of some change in the system. Instead of this being a relaxing experience, I was rushing around trying to make the best of the day. We ended up having to eat the lunch we ordered at 4pm when it was cold. Anna provided a couple of glasses of prosecco in the meantime, and was extremely apologetic. I debated posting this review, but when you're paying this much for a manicure, and it's your Birthday as well as your sister's first experience, it's even more disheartening when a $20 manicure would have been better. While my sister paid, and they offered a tax discount, she basically basically paid $100 for someone to unevenly cut my nails, which I now have to grow out so they don't look silly. I'm ashamed and embarrassed for the Ritz brand. Please do better in the future, this is simply unacceptable. This was my second time here. My first visit was 3 years ago and it was an amazing experience - so this time I decided to splurge on the couples retreat package which included a 60 minute massage, then facial then pedicure. The massage and facial were in the same room with cozy heated beds. The rmt's and aestheticians were all wonderful in terms of providing information, ensuring we were comfortable. The pedicure was amazing!! I get regular pedicures and honestly did not think it could possible be worth the price difference - but now I am thinking I might need to go back for regular pedicures. First of all, massage chairs with whirlpool foot tubs. Secondly the chairs themselves were lower to the ground and could be easier to get in and out of (always scary after your feet have been lotion up an are all slippery), the tubs have a calf rest so you don't even have to hold your legs up while the aesthtican works on your feet! I am kind of hard on my feet and it is 2 weeks since the pedicure and they still look like new! This was my first time here. There is another spa I go to quite regularly, but I wanted to treat myself to the spa at the Ritz. They have healthy treats and tea around the spa that you can help yourself too. There is a lot of quiet lounge space, which can be hard to find at the other spa I go to. I liked that a lot. I enjoyed the steamroom, sauna, large rainfall showers, and the green tea hot tub. I could spend all day here. Salvatore was my RMT. He was fantastic. Very friendly, welcoming me for my first time and telling me about the spa. He did an excellent job on my massage. It is very expensive, but worth the treat once in awhile, especially because you can use the pools and lounge all day with certain treatments. The only complaint is that they add an 18% tip (for your convenience) when you check out. They let you know that you can change if you'd like, but I felt awkward doing that, so I paid the 18%. For our birthdays, instead of buying something, Gord and I take each other to the spa. Last week was my birthday and today we went to the Spa My Blends by Clarins at The Ritz-Carlton to celebrate. It's the first time we'd been there. Because we were having a 60 minute massage, we had a complimentary spa day pass which granted us all-day access to the salt water lap pool, hot tub, sauna, experience showers, eucalyptus steam room, green tea infused vitality pool, relaxation lounge and co-ed sanctuary. Before our massage, we waited in the co-ed sanctuary, where there were chairs and beds so you can relax while you wait. There were complimentary treats such as almonds, dark chocolate almond bark, apples, tea, water, etc. You can also order wine and a light meal (at a cost). Then it was time for our couples massage in the Cloud 9 room. Elena was Gord's masseuse and he said she gave him a really good massage. Salvatore was my masseuse and he was excellent! He found spots that I didn't even know I had issues with. After our massage I went back to the women's area and had a short snooze on one of the beds in the relaxation lounge. Then I spent some time in the steam room before heading for a shower. The shower was fun. There were eight jets in the walls pointing at me, a regular shower head and a raindance shower head ... and I had them all on at the same time! The staff was very friendly, always saying "hello" and asking if I needed anything. They supply everything including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, razors, hair gels, deodorant, etc. You just have to bring yourself and your bathing suit! Because we were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary, they sent us home with a gift bag. It was a very nice experience and we'll be back! read more

I loved the Ritz Spa. Amenities are great and very relaxing. We had a bachelorette here and everyone enjoyed their service and perks. Robes, slippers, hairbrushes, clarin hair and body lotions, razors, feminine products, anything you need - they got it. Very sweet lady who did my pedicure, one hour of relaxation! Oh yes, I did go ham on the free snacks - white choc pretzels, dark choc bark, nuts, dried pineapples and peaches, bite size carrot muffins and granny smith apples. Sloane tea was a delight too. You leave with a mini sample gift bag. Was going to deduct one mark for the price but you're at the Ritz, you should know. Would become a regular if not for their $$$$. I've been to quite a few spas in the city and this one is definitely my favourite! I love the co-ed lounge space, it's nice and bright because of the skylight. There are day beds for you to just hang out for a few hours before or after your treatment. In the women's change room there's a separate room with about 6 adjustable beds if you want to nap or just to have some peace and quiet. There's a good selection of snacks and Sloane tea - if you're hungry you can order from their menu as well! As for massages, I've only had good experiences here - they're very professional massage therapists and extremely courteous. I love how they provide you with tips and advice at the end of the session to help ease pain or tension. They even demonstrate the stretches you will need to do - I haven't seen this elsewhere yet. The rooms are really nice, I did a couples treatment once and went in the cloud 9 suite which is a large and beautiful space! It gets kind of busy on weekends, usually all the day beds are taken and the bathrooms get a bit more crowded - which can be annoying when you want to get your things and people are just standing around in there looking at their phones. Other than that, try to book during the weekdays. (I came around noon on a Tuesday and I had the place all to myself!) read more

What I got: Swedish Aromatherapy (60 min) $195. Only the 60+ min massages will give you access to the other amenities Pros: - Came here after working 26 hours in the hospital delivering babies with no sleep. This spa experience was very much needed and I left feeling very relaxed. - For the price, I found this to be a very worth it experience because you get full use of the other spa facilities including tea and snacks, hot tub, steamer, pool, and sauna. At no time did the facilities feel crowded. Usually massages are $100 for 60min and you do not get any this extra stuff. - Food offerings: The tea used were delicious and expensive. They also offered citrus infused water. For snacks there are an assortment of nuts, dried pineapples, chocolate, and carrot muffins. - They provide bathrobes, towels, combs, pads/tampons etc so you don't need to bring anything except a bathing suit. You are also assigned to your personal shower - Female and male spas are in separate facilities. The only co-ed rooms are the common area with the snacks and the swimming pool. Cons: - Ironically, the massage itself was the toughest / least relaxing part- I think it's not meant to be relaxing but more therapeutic so I wouldn't fully classify it as a downside. Probably because of my bad posture, the male RMT pressed extremely hard and while asking how I would rate the pain, I had to say it was a 9/10. It felt like getting period cramps but on your upper back - I would recommend the abdomen massage though, this was done in a circular motion and they laid warm sand bags on you- no pressing down hard. It would feel pretty good if you were pregnant. - you get a choice of male or female RMT so I think next time I might choose a female- maybe they might press lighter. - Make sure you book early, I used the online booking and did it with 2 other people - it was either a little glitchy or they have RMTs doing several procedures so if one person selected one type of massage it would make other different massages unavailable. read more

Ok - so my last review was not good due to being over charged for services and tip. However, I love the hydra facial here so much and the technician, Elizabeth, who takes care of my service. Elizabeth is amazing - I always book with her! The spa is lovely with a steam, jacuzzi, quiet room and communal room where you can order food and drink. They serve lovely Sloane teas and little bits and bites to nibble on while you chill out pre or post service. This is my alone time - once every two / three months and worth every penny! read more

This is an excellent place to go if you want a 60 minute massage for the price of a 90 minute one. My therapist thought her client was a female named Brenda, so couldn't find me despite being in the right place at the right time and my appointment started very late as a result. At the end of the massage, the clock which had been visible throughout the massage had been turned to face the wall so I couldn't see whether the treatment hadn't been extended accordingly, but of course I checked and it hadn't been. I probably should have checked in at reception while I was waiting, but I didn't want to get blamed for not being in the right place at the right time and thus the cause of the treatment not starting on time. Was the massage good? No. Relaxing after starting half an hour late without any communication as to why my appointment wasn't starting was impossible. The therapist kept telling me I was tense, needed to relax, and to let her know if the pressure was an issue, but seemed to not understand that waiting an unnecessary half hour worrying I was in the wrong spot for the treatment to begin was the actual cause of the problem. Did reception have the gall to try to add the 18% auto gratuity despite not receiving but being charged for the treatment I booked through no fault of my own? You better believe it. As far as I can tell there is literally no reason to come here. If you want an actual luxury experience go to Four Seasons for the same price and actually enjoy yourself. The sandals they give you aren't 4 sizes too small there either, which is how my day here began. If you're fine with being rushed in and out of your treatment, go somewhere less expensive. The receptionist did offer me a free day pass to the facilities for my troubles, which was kind of insulting as the entire experience left me not wanting to come back. read more

This place is the definition of luxurious. We started our day off at the gym which was extremely clean and well kept. Next was our 60 min massage - I chose West + East. My RMT did a thorough job of explaining the massage and getting to know what I was looking for. I found the massage very relaxing but also informative as she went through stretches I could do at home and how to care for an existing injury. Next we went through a couple cycles of the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, lap pool and hot tub. Afterwards, we met in the coed sanctuary and enjoyed the cozy blankets, complimentary snacks and tea. The attention to detail here is exceptional - orange infused water, towels over ice and cucumber, friendly and helpful staff, pristine locker rooms - I could go on. She knew exactly what she was doing - listened to my concerns and tailored the massage to my preferences. The front desk attendants were super friendly. When they learned it was my birthday they gave me a small 'treat bag' filled with great sample gifts and a gift card. An excellent end to a wonderful half day at the spa. The relaxation room is co-ed and it is bright. VERY bright. White and grey marble and white walls. Still relaxing but most spa waiting/relaxation rooms are 'warmer' in colour scheme to encourage relaxation. You won't regret the spa services at the Ritz-Carlton. It's the Ritz, HELLO. I had a very generous gift certificate for Spa My Blend so I decided to try out their HydraFacial. The spa grounds are absolutely stunning, especially the pool area and the sun room. Definitely a luxurious experience. The robes, spa slippers and anything you might need are at your fingertips. The pool area was quiet and the water temperature was warm enough. The little snacks in the sun room are great for munching while you lounge; the general layout of the room and the couches are especially perfect for a group spa getaway or some alone time. Now onto my actual procedure; I had tried the HydraFacial before at Beauty Bar in Toronto and loved it so I decided to try it again here. For such a mark-up, I certainly did not get the same experience or results. The esthetician was way too rough with the hydrafacial wand that I thought she was going to scar my face. It was not a relaxing or a pleasurable experience. Thankfully, my skin didn't suffer too hard but you could tell that this wasn't a well-trained nurse or esthetician but pretty amateur hour in my opinion. She was not thorough and my "procedure" lasted for less than 45 minutes. The entrance was also a bit underwhelming. There were too many unnecessary gift shop type chachkas on the adjacent wall; I would have liked to see more skincare products or lines. Clean place. Great staff. Always a relaxing experience and a fun time! Great for solo or couples! Their separate male and female lounges are a bonus, and they also have a shared lounge for couples to relax together. Food and drinks can be ordered to the lounge to enjoy! There are small snacks provided. The massage experiences are *mostly* good - I have had numerous RMT and I'd say it's hit and miss. I would prefer a female over a male RMT though, but have bad both. I always ask for someone new each visit if I can. They provide tips to help with whatever back issues you have to relieve pain in the future at home. Pool and view is also nice. Ambiance is great. Came here for a girls night. There were 7 of us, and it was an AMAZING experience. Through beginning to end, the service was superb. The robe was very comfortable, so was the sheet/blanket in the massage room (I wanted to buy them, and they do sell, but it's too expensive) They also have a variety of snacks in the lounge. They offer Clarins products (both skin care and make up) for you to use/try in the powder room. The facilities are fantastic - they have this dryer, which will dry your swimsuits in a couple minutes. This location is found inside the Ritz Carlton. Once you step off the elevator, it is like you are transported into an entirely different world. I like the fact that with any spa service there is complimentary parking. From stepping in and being offered a beverage to the full use of the gym/ green tea infused pool, to the spa facilities (sauna/ whirlpool) and I really enjoyed the break room where you can just kick back and chill out. The massage was very nice and the therapist explained all the aches and pains I was experiencing and how to self help. My fiancé and I came here last week for our four year anniversary. The hotel and spa itself is beautiful. They gave us a tour of the spa. It looks very clean and organized. They even offered to give straightener or curler if you so chooses, as per request. It's also pretty neat that there is a quiet room for the ladies. You can basically lay down and relax and not be disturbed. This is nice when you're going by yourself and just want to enjoy your time there. The meeting area or coed area where your masseuse will pick you up is the main hub. There are beds and chairs everywhere. There's also flavored water and tea as well as treats. Our massage was spectacular, we also got one of the biggest rooms since we picked the couple's massage. Overall, I would recommend this place as we are planning to get back! I have been a regular customer at Spa My Blend at the Ritz Carlton for many years now, and have brought close to two dozen different friends and relatives there with me, all of whom have loved it as much as I do. The massage therapists are all excellent and adapt to your preferences. I am not a fan of deep tissue massages and despite always telling RMTs that I'm there just for relaxation, not intense therapy, I have found that they cannot resist kneading away at the knots in my shoulders, even if I pull away; the RMTs at the Ritz are the exception - they completely understand that I'm there to de-stress and they make it a truly relaxing experience. The swimming pool is lovely and has large windows with views of the CN Tower. The tea room has yummy complimentary snacks and a nice menu of items that can be ordered. For special occasions like birthdays, guests receive little treats and something sparkly to drink. The sauna, steam room, and nail salon are all great. This is my favourite indulgent retreat in the city! read more

How inappropriate that the practice of this spa, especially with regulated health professionals (registered massage therapists) automatically add on an 18% gratuity to the registered massage session. This is reversed only at the request of the client- and makes it very uncomfortable for the client. I understand that you will likely respond that this helps cover the service personnel, but this does not warrant such practices. This is absolutely unethical and your management should be ashamed of this practice. read more

I may have had a relaxing before-my-spa experience had there not been all the conversations in the sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation areas. I went to the spa on a Saturday afternoon and all of the women in the bridal parties could not stop talking. Had it been more quiet, it would have been an enjoyable experience as the facilities are great. I cannot complain about my facial, it was wonderful and the Clarins product line is great. Getting a massage at the Ritz-Carlton was an amazing and luxurious experience. I came to my massage very early to enjoy the facilities (mostly the pool and jacuzzi). There are waiting rooms where you can read a magazine, enjoy the fruit, and have some tea (it was so good that I ordered some later). The bathrooms have lockers and lots of toiletries. There are many products from Clarins that you can sample. For my massage, I ordered a 90-min deep tissue massage, plus an additional 15 minutes of the foot ritual. The massage therapist was excellent, and even showed me particular stretches for helping to remove muscle tension at the end. The deep tissue massage can be painful, and is meant to be more therapeutic, so try something else if you are aiming more for relaxation (i.e. hot stone massage). read more

The facilities are clean and relaxing and the shared common space is great - it gets natural light and has big beds that you can lounge on (great for couples). Oh boy. I know where all the savings are going to go. Hubby and I went for a couple's massage. Excellent therapists, beautiful room with high ceilings. This facility is truly upscale. Excellent toiletries, amazing jet spa shower, great service. Their unisex lounge was great with some fruit, dried fruit and organic teas that are complimentary. You can lie on one of their lounge beds there, look at the beautiful skylight and order some wine. I used to go to Elmwood Spa, but this is leagues ahead in ambience and quality of therapists. read more

I took my husband here for his 35th bday surprise. We had a couples massage. The massage was great and both RMT seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. The ambiance was also really nice. The good part is that you can use their facility pool / gym after as well. There's a common area where you can lounge which was really nice. One of the best spas in town, their service is excellent. Change room is big and clean. We arrived early to use the pool before our RMT massage. The pool is actually a bit small, so don't expect to be able to swim lengths. The RMT massage was great and I got more pressure when I asked for more which really hit the spot. I love that their massage beds can be heated as do a lot of other high end places because I tend to get cold easily. After the massage we stopped by the lounge to enjoy some Sloan tea with honey and some light refreshments which was nice. I have to say the lounge was quite packed though and we were only able to find some chairs to sit on instead of the nice lounging beds/ sofas. We then continued to the green tea vitality pool which is really just like a small hot tub that you can lie down in. This is where I took off a star because my bikini bottom got a bleach stain from sitting on one of the openings that shoot water out for massaging purposes and it's not something you can avoid. I now have to replace them as the stain will not come off. read more

18% gratuity on spa services - yuk. Luckily we have benefits so its not that bad but for that reason alone i probably wont go back. The massages we got were great. The food is expensive but thats what you would expect from the hotel. The hot tub is tiny, the pool was really cold. It doesnt't have the zen spa experience i was looking for. Absolutely nothing spectacular about this place. very pretentious and mediocre. I went with my husband and we both agreed that compared t oother places we have been (Four Seasons, Hammam, Trump Hotel) this was all show and no substance. Everything was nice and clean and everyone was courteous. But it was so cold, and mediocre compared to the rest of the spas in that class. I love a nice spa and this one did not disappoint. Had the jet lag treatment which gives you the best of all worlds in 90 minutes- exfoliation/back massage, foot massage & tired leg treatment, mini facial. Absolutely the best. Spacious clean and sophisticated. The service is amazing and I love that it has the private relaxation area as well as a large co-ed area where you can order drinks and dine in your robes. ***not gluten allergy friendly*** I expected that somewhere conscientious as the Ritz in combination with Clarins would help me with creating a spa day for my cousin and I that would not leave me sick and aching. After being asked on the phone about specific allergies, I told at least six different people on staff during our day that I had a gluten allergy, but no one had actually researched which Clarins products were okay for me, so I couldn't purchase any to take home as planned. Even the masseuse seemed surprised by my allergy and had to alter my service. I'm not sure what she skipped, but it wasn't the best service I'd ever had. Not even close. We ended our day with a snack in the lounge, where I was glutened by the "gluten free" spa menu. My wonderful day was overshadowed by stomach pain, diarrhea, hair loss and vomiting that followed that evening and three days after. Waste of $900, won't be returning. read more
