Pedicure Should not be painful. Left with my toes bleeding. Had to repeat myself multiple times. My feet didn't get massaged at all just my legs. Long hard scrub and all massage movements concentrated in my shins along the bone. Not at all relaxing The employees do not speak any English . read more

Okay! So I really loved how my nails looked when I left Spa Lounge to me they were near perfect in shape length and color. I was super happy to find a spot close to me that I could go to. But literally two days later I began to see A LOT of cracking in the nail"tips" which they used. Now here I am four days later and I'm missing two nails that literally just fell off...So I'm thinking possibly they use cheap thin plastic tips which break easily. I'm going back today in the hopes they will correct it.... keeping my fingers crossed. Also I paid nearly $80 for a pedicure and "dip" 'tips including a tip for both service so honestly I have been getting my nails done long enough to know I deserve better for the money spent. Went in for a pedicure without an appointment. I was seated fairly quickly once I picked out my nail polish color. Decided to treat myself and got cucumber scented $60 pedicure. I felt truly pampered. The bottoms of my feet were super smooth! I haven't had a bad experience here. Highly recommend! read more

This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to! Kim my tech was rough, constantly jerking my arm unnecessarily, literally slapping my hands with her nail brush that your supposedly to gently brush the dust off the nails. I told her twice she was hurting me but she could care less. She literally used her drill on my skin around my fingers. She even accused me of bumping the numerous while fixing her mistake. The salon is beautiful inside but the worst nail tech I have ever had in 30 years. She had walked off 3 times( more then 5 min with no explanation)to do whatever, but it wasn't to wait on another customer because there was no one waiting for service. I was polite, and smiled the entire time to keep from irrating her so I could get out of there. Not once did they offer a drink (had to ask) and NEVER asked me to wash my hands. I even tipped her (she was watching from the corner of the desk to make sure) She was watching for a tip or complaint for sure. Kim (wore a Bloom shirt) if that is your real name, even if you were having a bad day which I understand but you were being extremely rude, constantly hurting me, and my Christian attitude was to smile and get out as soon as I could. I had very high expectations for this location. Pros: The decor and furnishings in the setting were very modern, and the spa lounge seemed to be relatively clean. The technicians on the "manicure" side were helpful and polite. The nails did look good upon completion. Cons: Each of the technicians in the pedicure section were in a total RUSH and did the bare minimum. If asked to do or change anything (i.e. add warm water rather than cool, etc.) they seemed to be totally inconvenienced and quite rude. I am not planning to visit this location again. read more

Not sure why this place has low reviews I typically have a spot in Chattanooga I go to but I was visiting a girlfriend and we decided to get a pedicure and dip done. This was around 3:30 on a Thursday Atmosphere: very important for a nail spa.... they put the removable plastic liners in the pedicure bowls thank you! The selection of regular, gel, and dip colors are very impressive. The overall look of the place is very nice and clean I like right when we checked in they asked if we wanted a glass of wine Service: I hate I can't remember the name of the man that did my pedicure and dip but he was absolutely wonderful. Pedicure was detailed even though I selected the basic. And I always hold my breath when a new person is doing my dip but he was awesome!!!! Thank Jesus also, the host at the front was so nice! Walked in there without an appointment asking if they had time for a pedicure and if not that was fine. They replied they did and sat me down in the chair. They proceeded to go eat lunch and then came back and started to work on someone else while I sat in the chair for 40 minutes without a pedicure. I walked out. read more

Nail tech dug so deep I was seeing spots. I told her 3 times to stop & finally yelled it at her before she finally stopped. The whole place got quiet. Before she started on me, my daughter's tech asked for help which she REFUSED to give. My daughter's nail tech was fabulous and did a great job on her feet. She deserves to work with better prople. Spa Lounge. When a customer says, "OW." You need to stop - not ignore. You need to STOP when a customer gives any indication of pain. We're never going to Spa Lounge again. read more

This place is terrible. The young boy who did my nails and pedi had NO idea what he was doing. I'm attaching a pic of the $60 pedi I got 3 days ago. My 4-year-old niece has done a better job painting my toe nails. My full set was an epic failure as well. The owner is crazy. The staff is crazy. The receptionist is always some rando from off the street. My nails were unhealthy for the 8 months I was there. My lashes were basically none existent after the owner ruined them. The wax lady maybe my eyebrows look like a pencil lines. They don't even card people when serving alcohol. It may be beautiful inside but don't let that fool you. These people are practically evil. read more

First off the people who work up front here are RUDE. If you don't have an appointment you are treated like crap and an inconvenience. If they don't have availability right then they will say " we're booked, sorry". Like no come back in 30 mins or at X time. Just " no". Their prices are higher than other nail salons. If the quality matched the price that would be one thing. The techs( other than a few) are awful and lack experience. Definitely go spend your money elsewhere. They took 45 minutes longer than they said they would, which left us holding the bill for a massage we couldn't make across the street...and the finished product was jacked up looking nails and bleeding cuticles. Your nails would look better if you just start biting them. Also, beware the upcharges assigned AFTER certain products have been used on you. read more

Had gone here many, many times and was impressed with the service and I tip very well. HOWEVER, today I had an appointment at 10:00 for my mother (which was made days in advance) and waited 20 minutes but was no where near getting a pedicure. Had another appointment so time was an issue. This is not a doctor's office where 10:00 means 10:30 or 10:45. Made a call to Nail Spa near this place and was taken right in. They lost a long-time customer by being greedy and overbooking. You're not that good - there are many other places to go. read more

This is one of the nicest interiors I've ever seen for a place like this! Super relaxing and they played good music. I had Keith for my pedicure and a dip. Very detail oriented. Nails look great. Pedicure was one of the best I've ever had, especially as far as the exfoliating and massage parts. My sister and aunt were with me too. They were also happy with the technicians they had. Plus, free wine while you're there! It's on the pricey side, but I was ok with it because the level of service made it worth it to me. I was surprised to see these negative reviews. Service here was ok. My husband got me a $200 gift card from there for Christmas. I took a friend and got our nails done. Fingers and toes cost us $140. So I had $60 left on the gift card. I came back with my friend and our daughters for my birthday and they quoted just for nail painting for the kids would be $5 each. But we couldn't Pay til after our nails were done. They charged us $90. For regular nail polish only for 3 kids under 10 and 2 adults. When I went to use the $60 on my giftcard the lady said there was only .04 cents left! There was no way to check my balance because it was from their salon. Finally after the lady counting all the cash we had was done counting the same $60 she had in her hand the whole 10 minutes. She got the main lady to the front. who said she would pay the $60 out of her pocket because obviously she knew they done something with my gift card before. After all the embarrassment for me my friend and our kids in front of everyone we were able to pay $40 cash which was still $10 too much from the $60 from the gift card. And them charging me $90. The pink polish on my nails are now yellow. They kids paint chipped the very next day. And the first time my friend and I went, her mail broke the next day and my hair kept getting stuck under my nails (dip with tips) when I'd run my hands through my hair. I will never return to this place!!! they ruined my Christmas present. Then ruined my birthday present with the cheap service and embarrassment from my gift card. Just left this place. I am beyond upset! I had my nails dipped 5 days ago, on day two most were cracking open. I called Monday, spoke with Beth who originally did my nails about what was going on. She agreed that there have been several others having the same issue with their dipped nails cracking and was more than happy to fix them. I drove back over thinking to myself, why would I want you to put more inferior products on my nails when they will crack as well. Obviously, this is a common issue. I suggested we use gel polish instead and she agreed. The girl at the front comes over and says she will take $10 off the cost of gel polish. I replied, no way I should have to pay again for my nails to be painted when I already paid $50 less than a week ago for a product that is supposed the last 3-4weeks. Rolling her eyes as she walked away, she supposedly went to talk with someone. Beth walks over and takes off the rest of the dipped product off my nails and says, "wash your hands, You are good to go." I am beyond shocked that a business would treat a customer like this. They should've fixed this situation by painting my nails for free. Now it's cost them what would've been a loyal customer instead. I doubt I will hear anything from the owner about this. I didn't want to be a total jerk and give them a 1 star. So we'll just go with 2. I had my nails done last week on a Wednesday and that Thursday was the 4th of July. With that being said I go get dip powder normally ever 3 weeks but I wasn't able to go to my normal lady. I've been to the Spa Lounge a few times and never really had any problems. When I got them done that Wednesday they were really pretty and I loved them. Then the next day the 4th I noticed one had cracked but I was just going to go with it. Then later that day I noticed more cracking, by the next day they were almost all cracked and then some were chipping at the end of my nails. I called to see what they could do but I said I wasn't able to come till following Wednesday. They said that was fine and by that next Wednesday I had to cut my nails down because they were all cracked and half chipping. I asked for a refund and I was told that the owner would have to see if they were worthy of a refund. So I didn't go back. I paid $50 and my nails look like crap. I am a very busy person and unable to come sit down every week to get my nails done for an hour or longer. read more

I came here and when I got here we asked if I could get my nails done a certain way and they roled there eyes at me.then I asked what we will have to do about my previous nails wich was powder dipped with tips. So they said they would figure it out as we go. So they start trying to cut them and I kept moving my hand cause it clearly was hurting. She looked at me right in the eyes and said BE STILL. And I apligized and she said whatever. If I could give 0 stars I would!! Both of my big toenails have not grown since I got my last pedicure here. Then they became red, swollen, and painful. I went to the podiatrist today and they told me I have an infection in both nail beds and have to get my toe nails removed!! Took my daughter here to get her nails done on a Tuesday. She got a dip powder with sparkles on top by Thursday evening the top layer was peeling off. I called and made another appointment to take her in to have them fixed. We made the appointment for 12:00. When we got there the manager said she was sorry but we would have to come back at 2:15 because the gentleman who wrote my daughters name down didn't check with her first. We clearly saw my daughters name on their book for the 12:00 spot. So we hung out in town and came back. The nail tech was very apologetic for what had happened and redid my daughters nails. The tech spoke with the manager about the issue we had and the manager didn't seem to care and they charged us full price to fix what was their mistake. Couldn't believe that I had to pay full price for my daughters nails to be fixed at what was their mistake. Would not recommend going here as the manager doesn't seem to care or notice about making sure the customer is taken care of. Gave two stars because the nail tech was very nice and apologetic. If based on the manager or the way the nail salon was ran would have been 1 star! read more
