As a Bath & Body Works lover, I was skeptical of Buff's awesomeness. Yes, it is a chain. However,…read morethey have a full section of locally made and marketed products. The staff explained that they get to make some of their own creations, based off of local interest, history, and their own personal creativity. Love that autonomy for the workers. As a first timer, the friendly/welcoming workers (including the GM, Alexandra), graciously explained all of the products, their favorites, and tips and tricks. A few favorite tips and musts: 1. They have a list of scents and can customize products for you by melting down the unscented and mixing them like mad scientists. :-) 2. They sell soap holders which are brilliant loofas with a pocket in which you slide your soap bar. 3. Keep the spray oil in your shower to use immediately after your bath or shower to hold in and replenish skin moisture. 4. You can book bath bomb creation parties. Fun! 5. The product that will give you the best idea of a scent's smell is the body scrub, which is the most concentrated. Aside from the friendliness of the staff, walking into this shop simply makes you happy. Smells great and is so cheerful with the brightly-colored products as far as the eye can see. There are body scrubs, whips, butter, bath bombs, lip balms, marbled bar soaps, oil, lotion sticks, and a men's section that has beard balms and oils. Don't forget the laundry soap, too! Buff City prides itself on handmade products without harsh chemicals. Cheers to that!

I have ordered photos and photo gifts on several occasions and only once has my order been damaged/incorrect, which was promptly corrected. They often have great sales on photo items (30-60% off), so definitely use the app and search for promo codes before ordering. The staffing is hit-or-miss with both promptness and friendliness. I feel like it is often one extreme or another. It is very clear from the reviews and my own experience that the pharmacy itself is the major sore spot of this Walgreens. Having twin kindergarteners who bring home every germ imaginable, we have been here numerous times for prescriptions in addition to flu and COVID shots/boosters. The first time I brought my three young kids for their shots, making the appointment two weeks in advance. We arrive and after waiting 45 minutes, they tell us that they did not have any kid vaccines thawed for use. What was the point of my appointment that could have been referenced and prepped for in advance? We returned a year later for the booster shots, also having made appointments weeks in advance. I even called ahead to ensure they had vaccines thawed and ready. When we arrive, they lost the paperwork and we had to wait a half hour for them to print it so we could fill it out again. We waited another 45 minutes (1 hr 15 past our appointment time) to be seen. The nurse administering the shots was patient and efficient, I just wish they had seen us at our appointment time so that we didn't have (too much) time for our kids to get their nerves worked up. The wait at this pharmacy is always brutal and they are often disorganized upon pickup. They have lost our prescriptions on two occasions and often forget to give us the spoons/droppers, etc. to administer the meds. I have never encountered as many disgruntled pharmacy patrons as at this location. We will likely switch to a different pharmacy for med needs in the new year.

She overshared personal details regarding her eating disorder, body image, her relationship status, no contact with her family, etc. I called and spoke to a manager and I was offered $30 off another massage. This was my first time ever at Pure Lux and while the massage itself and the amenities were great. The chattiness and oversharing was ALOT and did not really seem on brand with the vibe of the spa. When I left, I felt I had been trauma dumped on. The gift certificate I received was for my birthday and honestly, I just felt like it was such a waste because of the experience. And then just to be offered $30 off another massage really doesn't seem to be fair. My first experience there was crazy and the resolution was for me to come pay for another massage??? I understand it's a business but I also don't understand why I'm supposed to pay for another massage in order to get an enjoyable, relaxing experience that I was already gifted..
