The website made it easy to choose a wonderful selection of charcuterie, cheese, veggie platters and I added some tapas type spring rolls etc. Cost per head was bang on what I had budgeted for (not cheap but good value for food that was prepared and delivered). They arrived at the start of the deliver window which is always a relief. Polite and quick to get it sorted out. Couldn't ask for anything more. They were exactly what I wanted for my catering for the evening and they will be my go-to if/when we do it again.

We had the difficult task of planning our weding in Vancouver from California. We were nervous booking any caterer because we couldn't make it up to meet in person or have a tasting. We had phone conversations with many chefs and caterers, but after our intial conversation with Served it was evident that they possed the expereience and creativity we were looking for. We wanted to incorporate our Asian heratage into the cusine, and it was so awesome to hear Treavor's recommendations and suggestions around the possibilities of Asian Fusion. We were so impressed with his talent, knowledge, and creativity on the spot! We had an intimate wedding at a private home in Furry Creek. Both meals were incredibly delicious. Our guests were an eclectic mix of vegetarians, meat eaters, foodies, and spice sensitive folks. ALL of the guests raved (and continue to do so) about the food and service. My father said it best when he asked, "why can't you get a great meal like this out?!" My husband and I constantly crave the fare - Maybe you mail us meals?! :) Overall Highlights: Michelle + Trevor are on top of getting back to you and finalizing / executing all the details Cusine creativity is impressive Meals are DELICIOUS Staff is friendly I was never worreid that they wouldn't fulfill their end of the service Overall value is incredible I really appreciated the time and effort that was put in to make our Asian Fusion cusine delicious

Unfortunately, the short ribs were too dry, and my second piece was too salty, but I enjoyed the mashed potatoes that accompanied the dish. The garlic fried rice on the sablefish was way too hard, and inedible. The sablefish itself was only okay, and didn't have it's traditional buttery texture. The potato fondant had too strong of a tarragon flavor and was quite disappointing. The tiramisu tasted like the mascarpone custard was scrambled, and I was unable to finish it. Their servers provided excellent service, it's just too bad that the food missed the mark. Also, it's worth noting that this company did not take food safety matters into consideration. We saw staff bringing up food in tubs and no warmers or hot plates were used to keep food outside of the "danger zone".

Finally a lunch spot in east Richmond worth going to!!…read more When I first started working in the Commerce Parkway area I noticed a small sign for a Taste of Italy on No. 6 Road, but could never figure out where the restaurant was actually located. One day last month, tired of Quiznos and Joy Lunch Station, I decided I'd find out once and for all where they had hidden themselves. Persistence paid off; I almost felt like I was trespassing, what with all the fences and such, but I found them at the far end of Mayfield Place, ground floor of a low rise. And what a find it has turned out to be! As the name suggests, they serve Italian dishes -- pastas, paninis, and the like, all of which are very tasty and fresh. But more importantly, they have, hands down, the best tiramasu I've found in Metro Vancouver!! It actually comes in a bowl, like it's supposed to! And why is that? Because the cook is a genu-ine eye-talian! Prices are reasonable -- 10 bux for a filling lunch; the food is pleasant, and the atmosphere is nice (though I just take mine to go). If the owners ever read this review, I'd highly recommend you make your signage more clear -- it's confusing figuring out where to go once you turn onto Mayfield Place. With food as good as yours, you don't want to hide, do you? Or DO you? that way there'll be more tiramasu for Dave...
