Long story short, I ended up trading him 2 MacBook Pro's (2009,2010), a MacBook Air (2013-in working order) a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet in perfect working order, a touch screen Asus laptop in like new condition, 2 tablets that needed repair, another Asus laptop in working order but needed some work, an Apple Watch and an hdmi hub AND onto of all that I gave him $200 cash.. After all was said and done I was given a 2015 MacBook Air (which is IDENTICAL to the 2013 that I traded him to begin with) despite the fact that I was promised a newer model.. Boy, did I make the right choice. This Rogers wireless location is an authorized dealer location, so their held up to higher standards by Rogers. The employees are fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Since this is a dealer location they can't take cash or regular debit/interac for bill payments, only major credit cards and visa/mastercard enabled debit cards from your bank. It's a direct payment online and the payment goes through right away. They will give you a receipt for it. They always have the latest phones in stock from iPhone to Samsung and are willing to give you some lessons if you need it. Definitely coming back here to upgrade my phone soon!

Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.

I received the virtual gift cards from T-Mobile initially for my phone and my wife's phone to pay off the balance of our Verizon phones. This promotion was supposed to be supplied to my sisters phone whom lives in Michigan and I currently reside in GA, my sister went to this store and spoke to Mario whom she traded her phone to which was a rose gold iPhone 6s Plus and now received messages to her phone that T-Mobile has no record of her phone at all in the database and we can't receive a promotion WTF IS THIS? which has been a total pain in the ass to receive to say the least. We switched from T-Mobile early January and here we are late February and we have still not received our virtual gift card and they want to do a bill credit at the moment which does not help me at all paying Verizon. I don't care about a bill credit. How about you give me money from your check so i can pay Verizon since I have been literally been given the run around constantly. I've spoken countless times to Mario and the store manager Tabbatha supposedly whom we're supposed to follow up with the territory manager. about this issue with no follow ups. No follow up calls have been received from this store to fix this issue. Here we are on the 24th of February with no resolution in sight and if it were up to me i would have these individuals fired for lack of custodial responsibility. If the first phone my sister ordered was cancelled and i was instructed to order a new phone why wasn't the trade in applied to the new phone.l? It's not that hard to be do your job properly. Would i recommend T-Mobile? Never would i even if the devices and cell service was free. All i receive over the phone are countless fake promises with lackluster performance.
