Have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. The menu has expanded over the past months. We shared a couple of the starters; the pretzels with dough balls and the brisket hash. Both were very good, preferred the pretzel dish over the brisket. The brisket is in more of a gravy than BBQ sauce, and has a slightly bitter, smokey taste to it. I would prefer a more sweeter sauce, like the pulled pork is in. The chicken wings are tossed in a hot sauce, though you can request BBQ.
We tried an array of their meats, our favourite being the pulled pork. I was disappointed in the brisket as it's no longer sliced but pulled now and as stated the sauce needs working on. The platters are huge and best suited for sharing. Their desserts are really good too, and again ideal for sharing. I had the brownie stack which was amazing.
We really enjoyed our meal, however it is on the expensive side. Starters and desserts are £7+, mains start from around £13, £20+ for platters. We ended up taking some of our meat to go. They also have a coke freestyle machine so drinks are unlimited!!
They have a selection of steaks I'd like to try next time I'm there. Enjoyable meal. Our server was very friendly but service is a little on the slow side. read more
