This place is cool, I kept seeing it while driving by and didn't believe it is really a skull museum, tattoo and art studio but it sure is! It's a super nice place, the artist are all top of their craft, the cute girl at the front gave me a wonderful run down of the place. They have a piercer too with beautiful jewelry to choose from. All the skulls have descriptions of where they are from and how the people died. Very cool spot!

Go book with Felix. I got the Peony's with him at the Skull Museum. The staff was super friendly! I loved it. The earth Angel I got with him prior to this but I just wanted to include it so you can see his work. He's amazing at what he does and he really does bring your vision to life. He's very patient which I appreciate because I know sometimes I can be a pain but he's very attentive and ensures you leave happy! He's dope! Go book with him. I'll be back to finish my sleeve with him because it's not right to start something and not finish it without him! Thanks again Felix, you're a dope soul and talented individual.

Don't go to that guy Andy Lopez. He permanently ruined my tattoo and I hit him back up to see if he can fix it and he told me it was small and should fade away when it heals, what a joke he is. I wanted him to just shade it in for me since it will never look the way I wanted it to and I didn't even expect it to be free even though he messed up. Instead he told me next time I come for another tattoo, he'll shade it in that day.. Even suggested for another $400 so he could just add leaves and vines to the tattoo I already paid $500 for.. He doesn't care about you or your tattoo, just your money. Money hungry and has no professionalism. Went out back to smoke weed multiple times too during my session.. Big mistake for allowing him to tattoo my skin while he was high. Beware, choose your artist wisely. Probably good reason why he's been at 4-5 different tattoo shops.

Rache was the artist. I went in for a 2 session on my neck. Great guy, told him I wanted a dove and Aztec serpent. He went above and beyond came out with a really good design. I would highly recommend him. Great vibe total comfort

Amanda Banx did an amazing job. I absolutely love the outcome. The Skull Museum is a very modern and hip tattoo shop. It's a must.

Amanda was awesome! She took her time to make sure everything looked perfect and I have no regrets! I'm so happy with the final result! The shop is beautiful, clean and modern. Believe me, you will no be disappointed. 100%.

I had a half sleeve done by Cory Reynolds. ( instagram: @corytattoos ) the past two days. My family and friends were awed by his work and loved the work he did on me... even my mother and grandmother... I am very picky, as I think you should be with things that stay with you forever. For years I've been searching for an artist that I trusted to put my FIRST piece together. Cory was highly recommended by my sister and brother in law and after looking at his work on Instagram I booked two sessions for the following month. Right of the bat he was super personable, polite and he made me laugh a lot which definitely made me feel comfortable about the whole process. I bounced my ideas off of him and he was very strategic in his approach to starting a sleeve and wanted to make sure everything flowed and blended perfectly. Cory came up with better ideas in 30 minutes than I had in months. He was thorough and guided me through the whole thing, was good at explaining his reasons for doing things. He had great advice to achieve a great final piece that would last. I could tell that was very important to him. After putting something together, under the needle I went. He made sure to check up on me and could tell when I was uncomfortable or if I needed a break. He did a phenomenal job and I was very pleased. His final product speaks for itself in that regard. He asked me to come in an hour earlier the next day. As soon as I walked in, he shared his ideas for the outer forearm and got to work designing my the stencil. Back under the neddle I went. He blended the inner and outer forearm pieces together perfectly. Cory not only gave me pieces I was happy with, he gave me unique art I could be proud to show off to my friends and family. The designs were great, the execution was better. I will definitely be returning to The Skull Museum soon. I will only have work done by Cory.

Cory Reynolds (Instagram: @corytattoos ) exceeded my expectations with his realism artistry, ideas, professionalism, and personality. I lost my brother to a motorcycle accident, so I wanted to have a sleeve done in his honor. I wanted something that spoke about the brother/man I knew and loved. I went to Cory with some ideas of what I felt were a great representations of my brother, and in the light, I saw him. There was an immediate connection with Cory, and he understood the importance of my sleeve. He took my ideas and turned them into a work of art and , most of all, a reality for me. His tattoo realism workmanship is the best that I've ever seen. I never thought I could put so much trust in a tattoo artist and be extremely pleased with sleeve on every level. You are the best, bro! Thank you, sir. If you want a tattoo done the right way, with an extremely talented artist who specializes in realism, look no further. You need to book with Cory ASAP!

I got my dog portrait done by Savage. He listened to what I wanted and he definitely delivered. He exceeded my expectations and I am beyond grateful that I was able to get it done by him. This tattoo has so much meaning to me. Everywhere I go, I get compliments! There are several other tattoo artists in this shop who all do amazing art. You just have to pick what style you want, to be able to find out what artist matches you. I will forever recommend this place to all of my friends and family!

Best experience I could imagine. I'll never be able to settle for less. From booking (Brenda is the most incredible soul) to the final result (Nick Stratt is a phenomenal artist)... and every sweet detail in between... thanks y'all

I wanted to tattoo my throat/neck area for a very long time. No way to cover it up with clothes and people will see it immediately so I wanted to make sure it was perfect. I looked at artists work for a long time until I stumbled upon Nics IG page. I reached out to the shop (who got back to me really quick) and he was unfortunately booked a long way out. I have a crazy work schedule so I didn't want to commit to something so far out when I dont know if I would be able to get the time off and lose my deposit. I happen to be scrolling through my news feed and noticed Nic had a cancelation the next day. I immediately messaged him directly and he got back to me with the details. I showed up the next morning and was greeted by the receptionist (Nics wife) who was really cool and helpful. Nic introduced himself and listened to my ideas, he's the artist so I wanted him to do his thing. He came back with a few digital images of myself with some designs in on my neck. It was awesome! He tattooed for a few hours and we broke for lunch, he took me to a cool place downtown and bought my lunch. I've been back one additional time for more work by Nic and have had the same great experience. Yes he is on the high side of tattoo prices but good tattoos ain't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. I have a ton of tattoos that suck and wish i would have spent the money to have quality art work on my body. If you're looking to walk into a shop and point to something on the wall and pay $100 bucks this ain't this shop for you.

My dragon by the very talented Chris Youngblood.

I have had 2 tattoos done with the AMAZING Chris Youngblood at this shop. One of the very first things I noticed is how clean and organized the establishment is. It is a very nice shop. As a woman I felt welcome and the vibe was friendly, unlike some other places I have been to. Chris is a fantastic artist and his ability to visualize what I am trying to express is on point. Is there a lengthy wait for some of the artists at this shop? Yes. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Chris has a long term client in me.

I got my first tattoo done at the Skull Museum by Mac.I love my tattoo.I always wanted to cover my birth mark so I decided to finally do it.I had a very good experience at this place;setting up my appointment was easy and smooth.Nicole is a sweetheart, very friendly.Mac did an amazing job covering my birth mark.I was kind of worried pain wise but it was not too bad;)Now I'm thinking I might get another one ;) The place was very modern, clean and the music played inside was beautiful ,great for some energy. I'm very pleased with my results and I think Mac made the process smooth and he was always check in with me. I'll be back for sure:)I'll attach some before and after picture;my tattoo is still healing though;) Thank you Mac,Nicole&Skull Museum.

Family crest, roses for my mom, pepper flowers for my dad. All I did was say what images I wanted, then he came up with this design

I LOVE this damn shop so much! I just had my first session for my sleeve, and let me tell you.... the design is more than I could have asked for, and the quality of the tattoo is stellar! It's only been 3 days and everywhere I go, people are blown away, and asking me where I got it done. Shout out to Joseph Munoz for being a super cool dude and a great artist! And the owner, Nic, is a hell of a dude too! He came and coached Joseph through my tattoo a little bit, and even cracked a beer with me. Awesome service, and I'll never go anywhere else for my black and gray work.

After the touch up. Sigil looks very weird and now feeling like I shoulda just left it alone and sharpied in the imperfections or something.

Ask the Community - The Skull Museum

If anyone had nic westfall, how long was your session?

I've had 25-30 hours of tattooing by Nic Westfall. He does 5-6 hour sessions, and will do back to back days. You won't find a better black and white tattoo artist. Period.

Has anyone had Shine as an artist? What do you think of his attitude and work? Looking to get a tattoo with him but he seems fairly new to the Westfall company.

Shine is a great artist! He has an amazing attitude because tattooing is something that he loves to do. He is new to westfall but not new to tattooing at all! He is great if you can get an appointment with him don't sleep on it!

He not only took his time but made me feel so comfortable in the chair. Had a very nice time talking and getting to know each other. He might be young, but he's very talented. He's started my sleeve and I hope he finishes it! Seriously, an amazing artist. Thank you so much, Kevin! Can't wait for the next appointment!

Hearing the friend tell me of his experience with the man who was doing the work I had questioned him on sanitation as well which was what up to state board procedures, made my appointment with Josh for my first piece (below). He had working out of his apartment on the dining area. It was impeccably clean. Table, chair, work bench were covered, the living room kitchen, you could see that it had been maintained, no build up, clutter and it was comfortable and welcoming. We sat down with a photograph of my kitty as well as him pulling up on his laptop a picture of "Toothless" from the animated movie "How to train your Dragon" Which was the exact personality of my fully grown 7 pound cat which was groomed regularly in a lion's cut. Only difference besides one being a cat & other a dragon were the eye colors. Josh had heard what I had in mind to mix the tattoo to be half dragon and half cat. In no time he was drawing out what I had in mind. He is so encouraging and receptive with suggestions. Change this? What about that in no time he had drawn my vision and here we go!! Lifting the cover off his products, he began prepping the arm as well as systematically keeping the entire work area clean at all times. In under an hour I had exactly what was on the original sketch using only black ink with the exception of her yellow eyes and pink tongue always peeking out of her mouth as if she was taunting whom ever she was observing. Josh knew his business! I could not have been more pleased not only with the end results but, with the speed, accuracy and minimal pain that I felt for a short time frame with the size that covered my entire shoulder. He was a great conversationalist and we just clicked! Such a nice young man! Polite, funny, smart and talented! I kept coming back with my ideas and he would always Hear what I wanted then bring it to life! I wanted an end product that didn't look like random work but, fluid design that was meant to be one piece/scheme after all I had waited nearly 50 years for this! Both arms, back and back of neck. The last few times he had opened his shop which is what he dreamed of! Just a few years after my "portrait " my familia passed away. A day doesn't pass without my seeing her, remembering the great times, conversations, memories with Josh:) He definitely goes the extra step for his clients!! Definitely would recommend him for whatever it is you need!! I'm so happy for his successes!!
