Larry took about 20 minutes just making sure everything was perfect before my piercing. I appreciate his dedication! He also was very honest when I asked for an additional piercing. Because he didn't have the right earing he didn't recommend. He was very detailed even when it came to after care.

I've never had a piercer not tell me when they were going to pierce you with the needle--not once but for both piercings I got. Not much verbalization on what was happening at all really. I went with two others and one of them got a single new piercing but got a set of matching studs, one for her new one and one for her healed one. The post for her healed piercing is so long in her tragus she can't wear earphones without it sticking out so much it actually looks ridiculous We tried going back the next day to see if they could use a shorter post but despite their hours posted, they weren't open 40 minutes past their posted open time.

I have always wanted tattoos but it seemed to never happen. Until this year around my birthday I decided to finally get one done. I was researching were I should go when I heard about Jaime VI, (the owner at Royal Six Tattoo) right here in my own town and man was I glad I did. I walked in, gave him a basic idea of a tattoo that would represent my children, something angel related as kind of a protector. The day of the appointment I sat down not knowing what to expect but still wanting Jaime to use his judgment...here is my tattoo a week later. (see Pictures) It was another great idea of Jaime's to use a picture of my wife for the face of the angel...who better than their mother to protect them? I can't recommend Jaime enough he and all his staff are great to be around and very TALENTED! Royal Six will be doing all of my work.....To be continued. read more

I've been tattooed at other great tattoo shops in L.A. Big name shops...but the experience of getting tattooed by a true and profesional artist, is the best experience there is... Jaime did really great work on me, I just have to give him an idea of what I want, and wow you can see this guys brain at work, of all the times I've gone to get work done by him, he has always got it right. The atmosphere at the shop is great. A great and helpful stuff, and all the art on the walls is just awesome, I can't wait to go there again, I actually have found my shop. Ive been to a lot of Tattoo parlors in my time, and most of which are located out of Placerville. I used to think that there were no good tattoo shops left in this town. Then I discovered Royal 6 Tattoo. I gotta say this changed my thinking. No longer do you have to go to Sacramento or further to get a great tattoo. Very professional, very clean and very friendly. I had never been to the salon before and from the minute I walked in it was warm and welcoming with local artisans being highlighted in the waiting area. Something I respect so much. In her actual room, I laid on a bed that was warm with several inches of memory foam. So comfy when you are laying there for a long period of time. Her touch was so gentle and I could barely feel anything to the point I literally fell asleep while she was doing it. Sooooo relaxing. One of the best experiences I've ever had. I met Tera, the owner of the shop and her vibe is just as cool! You want amazing lashes, stellar customer service and just an overall wonderful experience...this is the place to go!!!

As for the business itself, I really like it here. It's simple, spacious, and lively. Despite housing a lot of artists, it doesn't feel crowded at all. Everyone has their own spot of the building, where you can still see each other and talk, but it doesn't feel like you're right up in each others conversations or space either. What really impressed me, was as soon as we were done, they had someone to take professional photos in the other room. We did a quick little photo shoot, I was airdropped the photos, and boom we're done. Friendly staff, nice building, hosted events, nice photos, what more could you need from a tattoo shop?

People are always asking where I got it done and who the artist was. The flowers look amazing, the details are beautiful, and it healed great.
