Nonetheless, the experience was smooth, and I will certainly go back. What I enjoyed is how clean and how presentable the space was as it felt like a very luxurious experience as soon as you step in the door. I loved that the wine came in a crystal glass and not just a disposable cup. This made it feel like a real catered experience as opposed to a borrowed experience. Of course, each service is a few more dollars higher than most other places, but the experience is well worth it. Once we return, we intend to take a step up on the menu and indulge in more experiences at Luxe.

I have paid $60 for a top of the line and had all the fixins but this was basic and my heels still had rough edges. I want the cheese grater (you know what I mean) and my feet need to feel soft. Most technicians feel your skin after rubbing them with whichever tool but not here. Oh well, I guess I will keep looking. I might go back to the south and pay $35 for a little better service. It was the end of winter so I wasn't super worried about what my feet looked like. The last 2 times have been horrible, this is a $60 pedicure. I got about 2 minutes of foot/leg massage (total) and he left me sitting with thick lotion on my legs for almost 10 minutes in the middle of the pedicure while he got about 6 towels, paraffin wax, and some rocks that weren't even hot anymore by the time he rubbed them on my legs a couple of times. I sat for about 10 minutes afterward and wore flip flops so this awful paint job isn't from my shoes. I won't be back.

It made me feel really well about the due diligence before using any products that might cause an adverse reaction. I showed up a bit early since I didn't know where they were located. It is south of Baskin Robbin's and the signage makes it easy to find. As soon as you walk in, there's a relaxing atmosphere. It's very quiet. There's a small waiting area. The space, Evoque spa & wellness, is a shared suite between different beauty professionals offering a wide range of services. There's great information on all of that in the lobby. Helen was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She immediately made me feel at ease. She asked if I had gotten a facial before and if I had any concerns. The facial was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. I lost count of how many steps there were in the treatment, but it included exfoliation, ice globes, a pulsing machine, and products with ingredients to rejuvenate the skin. My skin felt great! My lips had also been super dry and she made sure to address that. I felt so pampered, I ended up buying two gift cards for others. I feel like it's easy to not schedule something like this for yourself unless you're nudged to. Highly recommend!
