Parking is on the street but also in the back. It's an old restored house. I was greeted by Alex who also did my facial. We walked to the room and I laid down. She asked what area should she focus on and I told her. The facial was very relaxing and she also did some extractions which I love!! She was making sure I was ok when she was doing it and I thought that was nice. Every mask she put on me, she told me what it was and what it was for. And the end of the facial she gave me a hand massage which was awesome! Plus, she dabbed something on my lips and when I put it together it felt like a great lip balm! Definitely worth the price!

We had taken her to Ulta, as I didn't really know of someone to do it off hand, and Ulta should know what they are doing, right? We explained what we wanted, and the stylist let us know that it would probably be a long process because my daughter has very dark hair. That was fine. I left her there. She called not long after to tell me that the stylist told her she couldn't do what my daughter wanted in one visit after all. She wanted to start and then have my daughter come back for another visit later. This didn't sound right to me, but I agreed. What my daughter ended up with- after wanting all over blue hair- was green highlights in her hair. They weren't very well done, and my husband, who picked her up, was charged double the amount that we were told it would be. My daughter was devastated- to say the least. We started looking for a competent stylist who came recommended and could get her hair the way she wanted it. Caleb at Twisted Lemon was highly recommended, so we went to see him. He took time to look at what my daughter's hair looked like. He told us exactly what he would do to fix it. He gave us a quote for the price. And then we made an appointment. My daughter had her visit to Caleb this week. And we are thoroughly impressed. He took so much time with her- much more than he had expected , once he actually began to work. He discovered that the Ulta stylist had done some crazy things that really messed up the color of her hair, things he couldn't believe a professional stylist would do. He spent all afternoon and then had my daughter come back after her night class at Winthrop to finish up. Her hair looks beautiful! Even after all that time, he charged us what he said he would. He is extremely talented and professional. He put my daughter at ease and did an amazing job. We can highly recommend him!

Bonnie is hands down, amazing, like a lion tamer, she whips it into surrender, LOL No seriously, if you have been searching for someone to trust with your hair, go see Bonnie. I have had people cut my hair sideways, leaving noticeable marks, I have had people burn my hair, had it fall out from treatments, oh the nightmares..... Not with Bonnie, she is amazing. She is a sweetheart too.

Their site lists a hydrafacial which I've had before at a different spa but Serenity has a price listed for $115 and the cheapest I've ever found was $180. I was needlessly elated to find such a price but the reason is because you are not getting a real hydrafacial. First off, this is patented technology and Serenity has a knock off machine Aqua Touch or something to that extent. This is a clear violation to state you offer a trademarked and patented technology but yet their spa is not authorized for such or even owns one. By the time I was situated and she's about to start the so called Hydrafacial, I was extremely disappointed when I glanced over my shoulder to see some knock off machine that was not clearly the authentic Hydrafacial machine that is patented. I didn't want to make a fuss about it or dispute it so I continued with my facial and paid for such but this experience deserves to be a review to let others know what they are truly getting. This was my first time here as I stated and it was a very beautiful and calming environment but I specially went there to get a Hydrafacial and they don't offer such. My skin looked nice but not nearly the same result as with the real machine. Please change your website to truly reflect the name of something else but you can not state you offer something when that name is trademarked and you don't own the actual patented technology. Call it a water facial or aqua facial but things are trademarked for a reason.

Not only is the space gorgeous and all of the staff super attentive, but they were knowledgeable and professional. We did the infrared sauna for the first time and Michelle took the time to explain the benefits of the sauna and what to expect in detail. After the sauna we were able to enjoy a shower in the super clean, relaxing shower room that had everything you could ever need (their regular bathrooms do as well). Then we went into the treatment room for our couple's massage. It was a beautiful room and a very inviting, relaxing space. Ena and Deja were our therapists. They were wonderful. Deja did my husband's and he has a lot of joint issues and we both regularly lift weights. She chatted with him before to understand what he needed and he said it was the best massage he ever had. Ena talked with me before my massage as well. We went through any issues I had in detail and she explained to me what I should expect. Listen I am not one to fall asleep during massages. I have never gotten that comfortable but I fell asleep twice. My back felt a million times better. It was the best massage I have ever experienced. After the massage they told us to take our time to get ready. When we came out Ena and Deja were waiting for us. They thanked us for coming asked us how we felt and then told us where they felt knots and tightness and even suggested some stretching etc. for us. We will absolutely come back and are looking into membership options even though it's a 45 minute drive. You won't regret it if you visit here.

He was polite and did take the time to ask about any problem areas. He stated he does body work. At the time I had no idea that was different from a relaxing massage. It just sounded like a way of listening to the body. There was alot of focus on my upper body (shoulders, front and sides of neck and in between shoulder blades) which is where I stated I feel the most tension. I didn't receive a whole body massage. There was alot of what seemed like working on different pressure points throughout the body, I don't know if that's the way to word it but it definitely wasn't a massage like I have experienced with past therapists. Also, there was conversation the ENTIRE time. I couldn't be rude and not respond but a relaxing massage to me is one with no talking unless I am signaling pain or the therapist asks about the level of pressure. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing massage since it had been years since I had one but that's just not what I received. Bummer. Noting the place was really nice, clean and welcoming. The ladies at the desk were pleasant and greeted me with a smile. I was offered to sign up for a membership at checkout with a nice discount on the first month but based on my experience it just wouldn't be beneficial to me. I'm looking for relaxation!

I've gotten so many facials at various Massage Envy's, but this by far was the worst facial…read moreexperience I have ever received. Just to start off, the session was at 9am and my esthetician wasn't welcoming. When we began my consultation about what my skin goals were, it felt as though i was talking to a wall--no personality, no smile, felt like she didn't want to be there. With the actual facial itself--The room was extremely dark, how can you see what you're doing to my face in a dark room? How I knew the room was too dark was because when she finished with the cleanser, there are tiny beads that help with exfoliating and she turned the bright light over my face to do my skin care analysis and she was continuing to pick off/wipe away tiny beads from my skin and then blaming it on the product instead of blaming it on her own technique. I knew that this esthetician wasn't experienced and her demeanor reflected that. There were many steps that were missing from the actual facial--I didn't get any massage time and her reasoning behind that was "we were doing extractions." She only touched my face and never worked the products into my neck and décolleté area. Why would I pay for a service, if I'm not even receiving the whole service? We only have 50 min of hands on time in a 60 min session and time management was horrible. If a front desk associate is breaking down a session to me and telling me what to expect and my service provider doesn't do what is expected will I come back? Absolutely not. When the facial was over, the esthetician didn't recommend any take home products or even tell me good bye. It's little things that makes the experience a wholesome one but this store missed the mark. Spoke with the front desk girl and she didn't charge me for the session, but she did say a manager would call me to talk about the incident and I haven't gotten a call and my appointment was 5 days ago. Very unprofessional and won't be coming back or recommending this location to my friends and family.
