This mall reminds me of Pearlridge in Hawaii but one level only. I came here on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet and peaceful. They have popular chain stores like Target, Old Navy, Michaels, Bath and Body Works. They also have a movie theater. It's a nice place to hangout especially at Cup O' Jo Café. It's a homey Starbucks that serves deli and pastries. If you enjoy ice cream, Cayuga Lake Ice Cream serves good quality ice cream. I strolled around food court but I wasn't too impressed. The mall itself is fine i guess. but thats not the issue. its the shoe store that i cant rememeber the name of that the problem (it wasnt foot locker). me and my friends were going to look at shoes, and it just so happened we had a ball that my friend had got. i was bouncing it before we went into the store so the person wasnt mad. but that didnt stop her. she walked right over to me and my friends who were MINDING OUR OWN BUISNESS, and pointed her crusty musty discombobulated witch finger at us and told us "get out.. I mean, it's not really a mall, right? You go there for Target or Planet Fitness or Best Buy - but you don't go to Gamestop or the Gap... Living in Ithaca, my weekends consists of driving to downtown Ithaca to the Commons, Wegmans, Barnes & Noble, and Farmers' Market or Pyramid Mall and Tops Friendly Markets. The main attraction here is the Target (I once bought the 64 pack of toilet paper I hand carried onto the bus and to my apt that I used for 1/2 a year), but there's also an Old Navy, GAP, Best Buy, Borders, Regal movie theater, etc that I usually hit. I had my replacement glasses done at Sterling Optical and was satisfied with my purchase. See website for complete mall directory. On lazy weekends I come here for lunch at the food court, which consists of Subway, Arby's, Friendly's, Sicilian Delight Pizza, Easy Wok, Cajun Cafe, and Auntie Anne's Hand-Rolled Soft Pretzels. Terrible...Empty Stores, few people, harassing security On June 2, at 8:30pm I was waiting for family friend to go see the Movie "Rocket Man". The Mall "Cop" told me not to wait in my car and I would have to leave the premises or he would call the police. I am 50 years old working professional from DC and USMC Veteran, merely sitting in my Mercedes and to be harassed by the security that was rude, unprofessional and border line verbally abusive. I spend money sat-sun at target, Mexican Restaurant and movie theater to be harassed by you security guy was un-called for and inconsiderate. It is no wonder why your mall was unusually empty with empty stores. The mall cant treat paying customers as some sort of criminal, or you wont have any customer left. read more

Honestly there is not much to do in Ithaca. The mall is limited in stores. Everything that goes in there goes out of business. We had a Steven Berry's for like 2 weeks and then it was gone. The only highlight in the mall is the movie theatre and that only caters to the college students, the people who actually live here never get a break in price! I'd give the Ithaca Mall or once known as the Pyramid Mall, two stars at best. Growing up in the area, I remember when the department stores left leaving huge empty holes. Those empty department stores were filled with the Halloweeen pop up stores and decorations for Christmas. Mall is only anchored by a very dirty Bon Ton and Sears. Nothing special...yes, there is a Target. Target, though, doesn't make the mall better as the store would do perfectly fine anywhere else in Ithaca. Come for American Eagle and Gap. Pyramid mall or whatever it's called now, NEEDS TO UPDATE ITS STORES. The only intriguing things about it are Victoria's Secret, Target and Bonton... That's it. I miss the Pacsun, Aeropostale and Borders. However, I love Easy Wok, the Chinese place in the food court. It sells amazing food for a good price. There's also a Regal Cinema in the mall and honestly, I love the movie theater. The theatres are spacious and it's relatively clean. This mall will always bring back great memories as Ithaca is where I grew up and will always be a home for me. This mall is where my friends and I go to shop and watch movies and I can't forget that. read more

I dont appretiate being harassed or sworn at by the security guards after complying with rules and walking away from the situation and he continued to follow me around the building and use a disrespectful tone towards me, speaking over me and threaghtening to put me in jail bc i had a lit cigarette walking through the parking lot . after i put it out he continued to follow me and make verbal threats. I would never reconmend this mall. The employees are disrepectful and after ending a situation by walking away they still continued to follow me. So as far as im concerned this place is full of inconsiderate people who threaghten to kick you off theyre property even after complying to there rules. As a mall, this is a pretty sad and scarce selection of stores. However, in Ithaca this is as good as it gets! The five star review is definitely thanks to the amazing target they have here, and the easy wok at the food court. The target here is great and has super friendly staff, not only in the store but also in the cvs pharmacy inside. Everyone there is always so helpful and cheery it makes me want to work there too haha. I love easy wok in the food court, they have really good food and if you buy the 2 or 3 meat option, the price is a lot better for the amount of food you get. Lastly, please save yourself a couple hundred dollars of repeated iPhone repairs and DONT go to the iPhone repair at the mall in one of those little stands by the food court. Every time I get my phone repaired there, it breaks again really soon and it is actually pretty pricey to have it done there. The first time I went, I got my cracked screen replaced and then later that day I noticed that the speakerphone function on my phone calls wasn't working anymore. The next day I took it back and the guy said that he couldn't have done that because the speaker is in a different part of the phone than he worked with. However, just a couple weeks later my screen completely cracked again! And not like one crack across the screen from a bad fall. I actually dropped my phone over my bed and the whole screen completely shattered and was white from all the tiny cracks. I have never seen a phone screen crack like that, so I'm assuming they gave me a really cheap screen. Because I'm dumb, I went back to the same place to have it fixed 3 times!!! And each time the screen completely shattered within a few weeks. Finally I went to a different place down by 5 guys, and the guy was so nice, he replaced my screen for $20 cheaper and gave me a 3 month warranty in case anything went wrong. Also, after he replaced my screen I found that my speakerphone function magically worked again! read more

This mall used to be decent, but since the global recession, a bunch of stores have closed down and now the selection of stores is very limited, it's almost not worth coming to at all. Every time I come home and I happen to go to this mall, I see that more and more stores have closed down. It's kind of sad, really. Don't come unless you have to. read more

The only mall for Cornell students and the selection of stores is VERY small. However, since it's the only one, everyone comes to this one. The only good part is the Target here for all your basic needs. The mall is really small, but has all the basic stores like Old Navy, Gap, American Eagle (typical womenswear fare). They also have a Borders where you can just sit and read. I just wish they had more stores. read more

There's not a lot to enjoy in Ithaca commercially. It's a college town with lots of mom and pop shops, and it's definitely got a hipster vibe to it. So this mall just seems really out of place for such a progressive yet low key town. read more

The Pyramid Mall is a strange little place. Target, Best Buy, Border's, A.C. Moore, and Dick's Sporting Goods are attached to it while the only large department stores are Sears and The Bon Ton. There is also an Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, Pac Sun, Aeropostale, and Abercrombie and Fitch. Oh, and recently Steve and Barry opened across from the new stadium-seating Regal Cinema theatre. Yet, there are also weird little stores (Amish Market and Andean jewelry and clothes) that somehow manage to pay rent. Oh, I've left out the Gap, Spencer's, EB Games, and American Eagle Outfitters. This mall exists mostly for Cornell students. It's not a terrible mall, but real shopping definitely constitutes the 45 minute drive to Carousel Center, Syracuse. read more

One of the smallest malls I've ever been too. Maybe that's why it wasn't crowded on a Saturday afternoon the way a typical mall is. It has your mall basics ( Best Buy, Dick's,...etc) but nothing that really stuck out in my mind. A few empty store spaces tell me this mall has seen better days. The mall is in my hometown but unfortunately I drive 40 minutes to to the mall in Big Flats. Ithaca mall has hardly any stores left to waste my time. Sears is gone and now Aeropostale has left. JC Penny left a little while ago. So now you get your pop up Halloween store type of business'. There are a lot of empty store fronts. I'm just not impressed. This mall is pathetic. It is merely a combination of random stores. This is not a high end shopping mall! It is a very small mall (one floor) with a narrow selection of stores, as well as food choices. The one restaurant featured at this mall is Friendly's (the Fribble machine broken) and the rest are located next to it in the food court (offered about 6 choices of food). One vendor recently having been shut down temporarily for using illegal meat (as I was told by several employees of the mall). gross. read more

i'm from binghamton, and i grew up with the Oakdale mall in johnson city. it was great back in the day, but now it's kinda mediocre, and even though i feel like a zombie every time i go there, it's still better than the shops at ithaca. first off, there's no clearly marked main entrances from the outside. i had no idea what was in here until a few female friends of mine set me straight. they had lived in the ithaca area for a while, and they argued that this mall was better than the oakdale mall. one reason they said it was better was because they had a food court instead of the restaurants beings spread out like at the oakdale mall. PSH! not once while i was here did i desire to dine at their bleak empty corporate food court, which consisted of a subway, and nothing else that stuck out in my memory. also, they had to tell me how to get inside the actual mall, because i went in best buy and target a few times and didn't even notice an entrance to another area! i will say, i got a lot of great deals on CDs and DVDs/blu rays at best buy, i love that store, but it doesn't need this mall, it could exist anywhere else in the ithaca area and survive just fine, same as target could. it's kind of a funny location too. if you're at cornell, it's super easy to get here in like 10 minutes if you take the back roads, but if have to go through the city of ithaca it's gunna be at least a 20 minute ride, and route 13 can get pretty busy. overall, there were times when i came here and found what i was looking for, and other times i walked away empty handed. on the bright side, you're never gunna have a problem finding parking here. read more
