I'm one of those folks who usually doesn't have an agenda when shopping here, the store tells you what you should buy... :) This location, while small compared to other stores, has a great variety of women's and kid's clothes. The shoe section is not that large but always has a few pair that catch my eye. I wish they had a larger selection of jewelry. They recently made some upgrades to the space that makes the store look bigger and brighter. The store is clean and well organized. Most of the staff are nice and unassuming. I enjoy visiting this store when I'm in Auburn.

I went to Kay Jewelers with a friend in search of a new watch. After having searched through the…read moreoutlet mall stores for various pieces of apparel and other accessories (failing to find anything sufficiently pertaining to my interests), we finally stumbled upon Kay Jewelers. The atmosphere inside was phenomenal. With a quiet humming in the background due to the AC accompanied by a subtle classical music playlist, the store could not have a more appropriate setting. We immediately spotted the watches and were soon thereafter greeted warmly by a gentleman who goes by the name of Michael. He gladly showed us the timepieces we were interested in, and was more than happy to spend however much time with us that was required. My acquaintance had decided to leave and come back later, to give him some time to decide on the purchase. After doing so and returning later, we had purchased the $595 watch for $260 approximately. An excellent deal. Michael was willing to remove the links and ensure the watch was just perfect before we left. He boxed it up nicely and included the links he removed. Overall, the setting and atmosphere were both great. The sales clerks were great and so was the service. Definitely a 5/5.

Well the coffee maker doesn't work and we tried to take it back Friday. Because my sister doesn't have a Ollie's reward card or receipt we are stuck with a coffee maker that doesn't work. We are no longer going to be Ollie's customers after the rude manager said we could not return or exchange a product sold there less than 5 days after we purchased it.

I work near this Dollar General location and usually stop in before my shift. They do have some name brand items and many of the "off label" brands I've tried are pretty decent. One of my favorites are the veggie chips and veggie straws. They have small single serve containers of dip, okay in a pinch but not really to my taste. If I want a really quick, cheap meal I grab one of the packaged instant noodles. This area is loaded with fast food choices, but that can get pretty expensive on a regular basis. I also like that I can grab a cute craft for my grandkids to do or a cute decoration for the holidays. I bought a mug and box of tea that cost me less than one takeout drink anywhere. Everyone that has helped me find something or checked me out has been very nice despite the fact that sometimes the lines are really long.

The senior citizen was in the Dollar General in Auburn New York he's an older black gentleman who…read morehas been going to this Dollar general since it's been there and he was very faithful customer but he will no longer be a customer because today he was told he was banned from the store because he came in and wanted a refund the assistant manager there was so rude not only was she rude she told the man who was old enough to be her father to shut up! This is not the way a customer should be treated especially when he has never had an issue with this Dollar general and seeing that he's been a long time customer you would think he would be given a trespass if anything but seeing that he didn't do anything wrong except ask for a refund and other people in the town have said very negative things about how this assistant manager treats his customers because this isn't the first time they've gotten attitude with a customer just because they wanted a refund I think this is disgusting and whatever happened to the customers always right especially when they're actually in the right! And this kind of racist behavior is probably accepted because of this so-called assistant managers higher up a man who called me and claimed his name was Frank and he was a district manager for the Dollar general on Genesee Street in Auburn New York I don't know if he was telling the truth or not about him being this rude employee of the Dollar general, but this person Frank who claims he work for the Dollar general called to I don't know if it was to apologize or just to get his story straight but not only did he insult my uncle even more by him lying and saying that my uncle was rude and loud and cursing when he got on the phone with him which is a lie because my uncle isn't just rude to people when he first meets them or speaks to him he's not loud at all he's actually really quiet but if you have a racist attitude towards him of course he's going to be upset but to continue Frank was making excuses for his rude employee so I told Frank to look at the store cameras because cameras don't lie people do and district managers and rude racist employees do, and my uncle is not rude or loud! That's the ugly picture she the employee was trying to paint Dollar General you need to do better! There are Hurricanes going on and the last thing Americans in this country needs is division and racism! And businesses that excepts racist people as employees and when a natural disasters happens people won't care what race the people that comes to help you will be! And my uncle has been here long enough to know when someone has a racist attitude towards him and that lady employee treated him like a racist and there are other customers who have said negative things about her,
