There's nothing premium about these outlets. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. It's the most average set of typical outlet mall stores in a sort of below average set of buildings. The contents of the stores are the same as you'd find anywhere, but the atmosphere is unappealing and a little despondent. Out of all the Premium Outlets I've visited this one has probably been the most meh. The various store employees were mixed. There were some that were helpful, and other that sort of helped begrudgingly like they were doing you a favor. The upsides are that there is a lot of parking available, you're probably not going to have to deal with lines, and the stores all seemed well-stocked. The Shake Shack is not in the outlet mall, it's on the other side of the highway. read more

I would say I end up here once every 2-3 years for a big seasonal overhaul, or if I am in need of some specific brand. Yes, there's some empty storefronts as the future of IRL retail continues to evolve and change. However, you cannot deny the convenience of a complex like this, typically with great prices. I went recently and had quite the list of things I needed to grab. I really detest shopping, which often means I wind up going without things I may need updated, and Waterloo is an easy solution to that. I grabbed well-priced sports bras at the UA outlet, sweaters at the LOFT outlet (much better selection than the Henrietta outlet), had luck at the H&M, and also made stops into Nike, Levi, Banana, and more. I love that you can enjoy the great outdoors as you shop, though I wouldn't make big plans to dine anywhere here as the options are scarce. A great stop and easy drive from Rochester if you're looking to find what you need! read more

Very helpful staff, lots of styles of bras, underwear, and pajamas. Staff will do a bra fitting if needed and help you to find your correct size. Plenty of sizes from smaller to plus size. Would go back. Prices were around $48 a bra but if you purchased three the day I went you saved 40% on the total purchase. So you get what you pay for when it comes to bras and esp. plus size which is what I was looking for. read more

The mall is great and all outside. Most stores are nice but the adidas had basically nothing. They also don't have basics like PINK/Victoria Secret, Aerie, Bath and Body Works and stuff like that. But they did have other basics like AE, Champion, Colombia and more! Very nice and enjoyed my time here. But keep in mind not every story is an outlet. The Nike store was fully priced ! read more

I'm traveling with Comfort Tours Canada on a 4-day 3-nights (Hyatt Regency Newbrunswick NJ) trip from Toronto, ON to New York City, NY. I am surprised I have not written a review of this mall yet. I pass by here often and if the timing is right I stop in. This is right off the NYS Thruway, between exits 41 and 42. Either exit will take you about 4 miles away from the mall. So its easy to get off at 41, do your shopping and get back on at 42. This mall has parking on the inside. I love this model. First, its somehow feels safer to me. Second you can see each store so you know where to park. Bad weather days, park close. Nice walking days, park on the other side of the lot. Regardless the huge parking lot is surrounded by stores on all sides. You can walk the whole thing, or do as many do and drive from one end to the other. Depends, I suppose on how crowded the mall is and how much you have to carry. Or anticipate having to carry. Another mall with every store you would expect. Gap Factory Store, Brooks Brothers, VF, Nike, Timberland, Old Navy etc. Ive never been here around Holiday times, I bet its busy. But early in the day on a weekday when passing by, this is a great easy stop. Clean restrooms. Food court looks OK, but ive never eaten in it, the choices just have not appealed to me. read more

Visited the outlet on a Tuesday afternoon. It was quite deserted as this is the off-season (April). My wife and I visited most of the stores, and we were somewhat disappointed. Specifically disappointing was the LEVI's outlet store, which I went because I needed jeans. The store was advertising "buy one at full price, get the second 50% off". While this sounds enticing, the MSRP marked on the jeans was so high, that the deal was not good. I plugged the jeans into google, and found multiple places where they were sold at the 50% off price (no full price purchase required) right near my house (KOHLS, for example). The food court here looks like many of the declining malls around, a few lonely options with boarded up options in the majority. I will not go back to this outlet place. read more

This is a solid outlet mall. A few of my favorites here are Nike, Columbia, Corningwear, Yankee Candle, Harry & David, H&M and Old Navy. There are electric charging stations and a small food cart. It's mossing out on some of my favorite higher end brands but it's absolutely serviceable for most shopping needs especially in rural upstate NY. read more

Cue ABBA's "Waterloo" song: This is an a'ok shopping outlet that suffices for retail therapy cravings. I've been to many outlets that offer a lot more shopping options and have a nicer outdoor layout with landscaping but this is the only upstate NY outlet I know of! They have stores like Nike, Puma, Levis, Coach, H & M, J.Crew, Columbia, Osh Kosh B'gosh, Rue 21, Old Navy and the Yankee candle store. The parking lot is ginormous and you have to traverse a lot of it to get from one side of the outlet to the other. I do not recall there being dining/snack options in the outlets but I read there was a food court. The Nike store didn't have a lot of sales options on women's clothing. Old Navy was popping and the lines were pretty long on a Sunday. I heard there was a coupon for Nike for $50 bucks your purchase of $100 or more but I don't know how to get it! read more

This is a nice outlet for people who don't have one close by. Deals are ok, nothing spectacular. The set up is all outside. So either go on a nice day or prepare to park and run in to stores you want to go to. But they do have some stores that we don't have at Niagara Falls, so I like going to see the unusual - David and Harry's. If you are there to eat they don't have much. My suggestion is to get a real restaurant there to help with keeping up the strength of the avid shopper. It's ok - but there is room for improvement. read more

This outlet is pretty far off of the highway. It's pretty small, but that's probably why I enjoyed it more than some crazy place like Woodbury commons. Finding parking was a breeze and walking from store to store doesn't really feel like you're wandering around Disneyworld since everything is so close. read more

My husband and I stopped here during our Upper NY State road trip. I was not all that impressed by this outlet. However, I am an extreme bargain hunter, and I don't even get out of bed for anything less than 60% off regular price. To give you an idea of that I consider a good deal, in the past, I've scored a Free People top for $2.50 (Filene's Basement - so sad they closed down), and a Tahari blazer for $18 (Winners). The prices at Waterloo Premium Outlets are obviously less than retail, but nothing that excites me. Lots of Canadians have told me that the Outlets in the USA are so much better than the ones in Canada. I would have to disagree when it comes to this outlet. The prices here are not any better than at the Toronto Premium Outlets. And not any better than I can find in elsewhere in Canada. I saw a cute Ann Taylor blazer for $25 - which is an ok deal, but nothing to get excited over, in my opinion. They do have a Cosmetic Company Outlet, which is rare in Canada. I like CCO because you can buy those "Gift with Purchase" kits from Clinique, Estee Lauder, etc. that are free with purchases from department stores. They even had the discontinued Cinnabar perfume from Estee Lauder that I love. However, the prices were not that awesome. I spent a few hours here and walked away empty-handed. My husband bought a buttoned down short sleeved shirt from Banana Republic for $12. The outlet is a good size. It's a big circle, so you can ensure that you haven't missed any stores. There's lots of free parking. I suppose that if I was driving through Waterloo again in the future I would stop by, but I would not plan a special trip to go here. read more

They have some really good deals here. I love shopping so why not save some money. I love the Yankee candle store. The candles are literally 75% less than anywhere I have ever seen them before. The food court has a lot of options and you could honestly get lost in this place. I had a lot of fun and got some really good deals. read more

Loved this outlet mall ever since I was a kid! Great place to pick up nice deals on clothes, home supplies, etc. The mall itself offers deep discounts as expected, and the individual stores often have promotions and sales on top of that. There's a food court and places to sit here and there scattered along the mall; keep in mind the access to all stores is outside so weather is a factor. There are often buses of tourists, and big crowds during the Christmas shopping season, but otherwise you'll mostly just find locals searching for some good deals. Four stars because I miss the trolley and its convenience! read more

I hit up Waterloo on the way back from a camping trip, in search for a pair of sneakers for my favorite sidekick. The layout of the place is weird (be careful parking, people drive around with their head up their &#%@ looking for a close spot. Just get out and walk, you will be doing it anyway. The mall is so outdated, and the prices are the same, if not more expensive than the malls in Rochester. I can understand if someone wants to go to an outlet for more of a selection (for Nike, or a sports store) but other than that, if I am in the area I will be spending my time at a winery instead ;) The food court is a joke. You have Arby's, Sbarro, The Great American Steak and Potato Company, and a Subway. The people that work in the food court are all 16, and have no idea what they are doing. I waited 20 minutes for an order to come out, and it was still wrong. The stores itself are clean, air conditioned, and spacious. I would recommend coming during the week, because a lot of tour buses dump people off and it can be crowded. The only bathrooms are in the food court, and Eddie Bauer. read more

Went to return item at store in the south west side of mall december 29 approximately 3-4pm. Female Employee named Alex was beyond rude I would say this was the worst experience at any Calvin Klein store I have ever went to in my life. She was very lazy and unhelpful I said I would be contacting a store manager on the way out and she said " I am the store manager". Well you have the wrong person running this store without a doubt. If any customer expects good customer service at that store I would highly recommend going to the other calvin on the east side of the mall. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly. I followed up with the DM manager who was very understanding told me to go to the store on the east side of the mall because I would be better handled. EVERY STORE SHOULD HAVE DISTRICT MANAGERS PHONE NUMBER PRINTED CLEARLY ON THE DOOR before I walk in OR out for situations like this. All.of this could have been prevented if the female employee Alex did not say she was the store manager on the way out of the store to me leaving me absolutely no choice but to contact the DM. Furthermore it doesnt matter who gave a unhappy customer the DMs phone number what matter is you had terrible customer service towards a very good customer as well as local business owner that always recommended CK stores right along with the premium outlets center. I strongly recommend training even the store managers on customer satisfaction. Anyone has a issue call the District manager at 908-698-8336 207-865-7083 He is very good and will help you the best he can even if it means picking up a phone to find a answer. To end this I just want to say it was not about the $45.00 coat it was about the terrible customer service I received by employee named Alex who come to find out is not even the store manager just lied and said she was. Just what a company needs is lying employee. Following up: Lisa the real store manager (.not impersonating female wannabe manager alex)was more concerned how a displeased customer got district managers phone # rather than addressing huge customer service issue at this store. If a easy going fella like myself leaves unhappy I can only imagine the amount of other customers that have had to deal with that nasty employee and left unhappy with no help. I would also like to add store manager where I bought the item never called me to follow up. I find that disturbing. I'll admit it.- I'm a sucker for bargains. Not only am I the kind of person who likes to compare savings on items on sale- I'll take it a step further and tally up all the regular prices for clothes and what I actually paid just for personal satisfaction. And let me tell you, my comparisons for Waterloo were OH so gratifying. I bought 11 items from Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor, Loft and Banana (2 skirts, 2 pants, 1 dress, 1 sweater, 2 oxfords, 3 tops) for $148.85- 23% of what it was regularly at the outlet ($633.43)..... I'm still riding on the discount euphoria. But.. enough about ME. Let's talk Waterloo (--resisting urge to sing ABBA--): - 100+ stores - clothing, jewelry, shoes, books, perfume, suitcases, vitamins, candles, appliances, more clothing and shoes, chocolate, and the like -small food court with the regulars (burger king, subway, pizza, etc) -tons o' parking Coming from Rochester it takes an hour to get to Waterloo, so it's not worth it to come "just to look".. come when you are ready to GET DOWN with some sales. I, for instance, needed to expand my work wardrobe. TIPS: - Go directly to the clearance section. Yeah, I know it's the OUTLET mall and there are "sales" everywhere, but most aren't really worth your time. The prices don't get really sexy until you hit up that FINAL clearance section. - If there is a small defect to the clothing, tell the people when you are checking out and bargain... if you dont buy it they may have to send it back to the warehouse so you should be able to shave about 15-20% more off the price tag. - Have about 2-4 hours to spend walking around to see all the shops -If it's cold outside, bundle the eff up. read more

I wouldn't really suggest going when it's cold out! Being an outlet mall, you have to do a bit of walking around outside. There is however, small type mall area and a food court where you don't have to be outside. Before I ever went, I heard that the deals were awesome and I really needed to go, but after arriving I noticed the deals are few and far between. It seems to me like normal Mall pricing. I don't go enough to know if its really worth the 45 minute trip. After being here a couple times my opinion would be no. Although we did go right after Black Friday, my boyfriend got a lot of brand name sneakers for really cheap. I browsed around at the Puma store and found a couple cute items for cheap, but I felt like I was forcing myself to get something so I didn't leave empty handed. Not a bad outlet, even though at times it reeked of manure from the adjacent farm. About 100 stores, including Adidas, Coach and Banana Republic are here. I didnt really see any major deals, which rather bummed me out, but then I overheard one of the salespeople saying that they were opening on midnight Thanksgiving day and that is when all the prices were being slashed. Oh well. But the selection was good as was the layout of the place, so two thumbs up for that. read more

Perfect way to stock up at the beginning of a season. Only a 40 min drive from Rochester. My top stores: Banana Republic - Wait for the 50% off sales. I usually buy the bulk of my items here. Right now they have a special where you can buy a tote and receive 10% off every time you come back this year. It's already paid off! Nine West - usually BOGO. Very cute styles and a range of prices. Ann Taylor LOFT, GAP, and J.Crew are all fantastic spots as well. Usually plenty of parking but lots of walking. Bring a jacket if it's cold. Also a bottle of water! I always seem to get very thirsty on these outings. Probably because it's hard to be there for less than two hours. read more

I totally dig these outlets. My friends and I take a trip out here every few months or so, and nearly always run into excellent sales. We can spend upwards of 6 hours here (maybe we are just insane though). I like to come during the end of the season... was able to pick up a $5 (!!!) sweater from Banana Republic at the end of winter! The food court is pretty small and has a burger king, pizza place, and arbys. I prefer the Greek restaurant that is right next to the food court. The beef souvlaki is very chewy, so maybe spring for something else if you actually want to have a conversation over your food. Protip: If you check in on yelp, you can get a coupon flyer for free. Just go to the food court area and look for the desk facing you right when you walk in. read more

Outlets are decent some stores I found good deals but others were no different than going to their store in the mall. If you have been to one outlet area you have been to them all. All the same stores in everyone! Parking is good I had no trouble finding a spot. I will say the food court is weak. It has Subway, Burger King and Arby's boooo. There is a grille in the outlets that looked like it could be good if you dont want to eat nasty fast food. I did find some good deals in Guess, Aldo, and Banana Republic but just like the mall it is hit or miss! read more

As far as outlets go, this isn't half bad. Sure, it's in the absolute middle of nowhere without any kind of signs or directions. But once you get there, it's almost worth the drive. One major complaint: It's in central New York but it's....outside? Wait, what? This is where all the snow goes on vacation! It makes for some bitter cold shopping, let me tell you. The layout itself isn't too bad though, and it's easy to tool around if you are on wheels or otherwise stair-challenged. The store selection is ok. Clothing, makeup and the occasional kitchen store dominate the landscape, with a couple shoes thrown in for posterity. The salespeople in the various stores I went in were all very helpful and pleasant. There is a minor foodcourt and bathroom area near the middle. Amazing deals! I live in NYC but this place is only 15 minutes away from my parent's house. Prices are so much better than anything in NYC. I visit almost every time I go home and always find great deals. Some of my favorite stores are Under Armour, Nike, Gap, Ralph Lauren, J Crew and Old Navy. Always able to find some great items. It's a pretty typical outlet mall though as I've been to a few others and I think they're all owned and built by the same company. Rather clean place with friendly service in almost every store. This place is pretty dead. It reminds me of this outlet mall between Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV. Barely any cars to fill the lots. The stores are okay, but there are not any great deals going on. There are better deals online that I could tell. The stores were spread out a bit and some I couldn't even tell what store they were because I was not going to walk way over there and check. I hit the main stores and then left. There was a food court but only 3-4 fast food joints. read more
